The words of the girl who had caused all this bubbled up, they always bubbled up, no matter how hard she tried to ignore them.
Armor-piercing comments, eh? Looks like Kin is still WP-depleted.
And it looks like she has some sort of Intimacy towards Tenten, even if she can't seem to remember her name; not necessarily positive, mind, but important.
After all. She had nothing left to lose.
I will repeat this: Orochimaru(and his organization) is a
scary judge of talent.
Kimimaro. Kidomaru. Tayuya. Sakon/Ukon. Jirobu. Karin. Kabuto.
Dude had an eye for potential in shinobi children, and a knack for drawin it out.
Look at Kin and her team.
26 teams that went into the Forest of Death; 7 teams made it out.
Of those teams, 5 were from Konoha, 1 was from Sand, and 1 was from a pissant village that is less than ten years old.
Even more remarkably, the Sound team first gave up their scroll to Team 7 to avoid getting stomped by Sasuke, and then made it up by picking up two more scrolls and making it to the Tower before the deadline.
Despite Sasuke having broken/dislocated Zaku's shoulders, which means they were carrying a handicap with no helpful Kabuto.
Say what you will, Team Dosu was GOOD.
And he did this on a larger scale by building Sound up enough to attack Leaf with only the help of the smallest Great Village.
In a decade or less.
Respect his organizational skills.
-Orochimaru is wasteful as fuck.
Team Dosu would probably be their village's generation's elite in 3-10 years, once they got the arrogance beat out of them and received some seasoning.
And dude just expended them like matches.
He isn't as wasteful as Danzo mind, but that's damning with faint praise.
He didn't bother to do due dilligence on his genin, and in canon, he'd have used this girl as a spell reagent for Edo Tensei.
We can make better use of her.
Between recent events and residual trauma, she's pretty much broken down psychologically. Build her back up, and she'll be one of the more loyal agents you'll get. Might give her to Mitarashi, who has the background to understand where she is coming from, but not insult her by treating her with kid gloves.
Or retire her, if she'd rather get out of the field.
