Okay guys. Guys. I want you all to take me seriously right now.

I am being so serious right now.

Are you paying attention? Are all of you ready?

...We have to waifu Kin. It has to happen. We gotta do it.

She deserves love, she deserves the best, and we are the best.
You do know it's possible to give someone love and support and not be in a physical relationship with them right?

Bloodline start a new clan.
Only if the new bloodline can be passed on genetically, and given that any blood work Tenten will have had done will only say she's within normal base line for a human without a bloodline, they might just assume that this is some unique phenomena that only Tenten can use.

I had to calm myself because, I don't believe you mean any insult by you post and you don't know me.

But, yeah, I know. I live that truth. I'm poly and I only have a sexual relationship with one of my girls.

If I was a guy, the way I would sum it up is not all wai-fus get the pipe-oo.
(You are completely allowed to murder me for this.)

Pretty sure Crilltic was talking to all the people shipping and not just one person, so I don't think you need to worry about that. I have to admit though that the sentence before the last made me chuckle.

Part of me wants to delete that sentence, but the rest of me realizes that you have to stand by your mistakes. Lmao.

Huh, had to look that up. I guess it is possible, but I still don't think that it would show up in her blood work, so they'd need to wait and see until after she had a kid to see if the GLORIOUS SOLAR BULLSHIT can be passed down or not, and I don't see that happening anytime soon seeing as she's like what 13 or 14 at the most.

The words of the girl who had caused all this bubbled up, they always bubbled up, no matter how hard she tried to ignore them.
Armor-piercing comments, eh? Looks like Kin is still WP-depleted.
And it looks like she has some sort of Intimacy towards Tenten, even if she can't seem to remember her name; not necessarily positive, mind, but important.

After all. She had nothing left to lose.
I will repeat this: Orochimaru(and his organization) is a scary judge of talent.
Kimimaro. Kidomaru. Tayuya. Sakon/Ukon. Jirobu. Karin. Kabuto.
Dude had an eye for potential in shinobi children, and a knack for drawin it out.

Look at Kin and her team.
26 teams that went into the Forest of Death; 7 teams made it out.
Of those teams, 5 were from Konoha, 1 was from Sand, and 1 was from a pissant village that is less than ten years old.

Even more remarkably, the Sound team first gave up their scroll to Team 7 to avoid getting stomped by Sasuke, and then made it up by picking up two more scrolls and making it to the Tower before the deadline.
Despite Sasuke having broken/dislocated Zaku's shoulders, which means they were carrying a handicap with no helpful Kabuto.

Say what you will, Team Dosu was GOOD.

And he did this on a larger scale by building Sound up enough to attack Leaf with only the help of the smallest Great Village.
In a decade or less.
Respect his organizational skills.

-Orochimaru is wasteful as fuck.
Team Dosu would probably be their village's generation's elite in 3-10 years, once they got the arrogance beat out of them and received some seasoning.
And dude just expended them like matches.
He isn't as wasteful as Danzo mind, but that's damning with faint praise.

He didn't bother to do due dilligence on his genin, and in canon, he'd have used this girl as a spell reagent for Edo Tensei.
We can make better use of her.

Between recent events and residual trauma, she's pretty much broken down psychologically. Build her back up, and she'll be one of the more loyal agents you'll get. Might give her to Mitarashi, who has the background to understand where she is coming from, but not insult her by treating her with kid gloves.

Or retire her, if she'd rather get out of the field.

Personally, I'd much prefer not to end up in a relationship with Kin. Because if we did, there are some rather serious issues that would have to be worked out.

The first is pretty obvious from what we've seen here; Kin's life was entirely reshaped and redirected by the first group of people that helped her, and she will be recovering from that for...probably the rest of her life, to a greater or lesser extent. It's not really going to go away. Now, it's unavoidable that we will cause a change of a similar scale for her, but we really need to do more than replace her almost cultish loyalty to Sound with loyalty to us if we want her to be able to recover. She needs to be able to live for her own sake as well, and ending up in a romantic/sexual relationship with the girl who personally rescued her is not a step in that direction. It's not impossible to work out, but it makes things harder.

The second is a bit more insidious: getting into a relationship with her, especially if we do it soon will give her something to point at and say "Look. This is why she helped me." That would be bad on a number of levels. It makes it hard for her to say no to us out of a feeling of obligation, it damages her already mangled sense of self-worth, and possibly worst of all it stops her needing to challenge her current worldview. In the interlude, it seems that one of the few things she's clinging to is our statement about doing good for its own sake, and that eventually led her to drop the last of her loyalty to Sound. That's huge, and it's probably going to be key to her rebuilding herself after this. I really don't want to pull that out from under her as well and let her go back to the mentality she had.

Okay, this is the word that caused me the sufferings.

A romantic relationship with Kin would be a KISMESIS.

Badness, really.

Characterized by the emotional vulnerability.

The following romance is, in Alternia terms, the result of a morails with flushed feelings.

Japanese romance is weird, and I wanted to see how Hayate effected his friends.
-----------------------------

One Day

Click. Clack. Click

It would have been cute if she didn't know exactly what he was trying to do.

"Hey Sticky."

She flicked her dango stick at his glasses, not caring one bit that she was only giving credence to his nickname for her.

"Whatcha doing birdie?" She closed the door behind her. She had a real bad feeling about this...

"I was feeling a bit stressed. So, how did your talk with Yugao go?"

"Just peachy."

He shifted uncomfortably at the bite in her words, and she told herself to calm down. He was just worried. That's what he always did. She liked it, but she was letting it all go to her damn-.

Click.

He was pouring her some tea. How nice. She sat down across from him at their dinner table, annoyed that he got the one up.

"She's a frickin mess Aoba."

His nervousness heightened at the confirmation.

"His mother and sister are dealing with it as well as they can. I talked to them for a bit, but I didn't have to hunt them down…"

They both sipped at once. They both knew that this situation was more fucked up than they had ever imagined having to deal with in their own kami damned village. This was all supposed to be pleasant busywork. Only one of them would admit how much it terrified them first.

"I'm scared, Anko."

They both sipped "Lemon balm?" "Yeah." at once.

"Things are pretty fucked up dude." It didn't have to be said, but it was, and it may have been part of the reason why she was caught so off guard by his next sentence

"I arranged a spar with Asuma and Kurenai. For the both of us," he said softly, meeting her eyes.

Her gut twisted

"Making my decisions for me now, huh?" She knew he was worried, and it was sweet and nice, but -.

"Anko I just can't-" his voice broke. "I don't want to lose-."

"Shut up."

...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hiya Haya. Guess what I've been hearing~"

Gekko Hayate fell flat on his back, legs still swinging on the edge of his roof. His eyes rolled up so that he could see the extent of her shit eating grin.

"I think I could guess."

"C'mon." She sat down cross legged across from him, her smile splitting her face. "Give me all the juicy details!"

"It wasn't that much Anko. We were training kenjutsu. I took a chance. And it all just worked out. Maybe you should try it sometime."

"Kind of reckless, don't you think?"

He scoffed.

"Maybe to you. I want to be a super cool uncle before I die Anko. The bachelors sure aren't going to give me nieces and nephews. You're my best shot you know."

He would treasure the gobsmacked expression on his younger friends face until the shinigami took him.

"I need an inhaler just to survive the atmosphere your house."

"Was the real Hayate always such a jerk? Mind if I stab you for a second to confirm?"

"Anko, trust me on this. It's not even a risk. If Aoba rejects you, I'll kill the imposter myself."

Mitarashi Anko fumed quietly at getting the tables turned on her so quickly. She was supposed to be the one messing with him damn it!

A couple minutes passed of uninterrupted silence, as Hayate gazed at the clouds and Anko mulled.

"Do you really think he loves me?"

Amaterasu give him strength.

-------------------------------------

She was such a coward. That was the sole thought running through her head as she held him closer.

"I…" She had to say it. Had to make it real.

"I love you."

She would say it to him one day, while he was awake. She just had to listen to...Hayate. Yeah.

One day she'll do it. One day. One day. One day...

Have to be honest: completely disinterested in Kin. I'll try to elaborate, but, so ar, it's mostly personal opinion. Ok, so she's a genin taken in by Orochimaru, and a disposable pawn. So? There were hundreds of those.

Edo Tensei, and to a greater extent Rinne Tensei, are very, very scary from an Exalted POV. In Exalted, resurrection is only possible by placing your very existence in the hands of insane titans, most of whom have every reason to loathe you. This is not the case in Naruto.

Sorry end game is Temari. First girl is best waifu.

Goddamn this shit is why I fucking hate playing female PCs. Is it really so damn hard for female PC to be straight and have her female friends just be female friends?

*squints* I just want temari dating shenanigans. I'm not advocating tenten making an entire harem of every female. Don't bring your weird issues into this.

No really, is there any reason why every goddamn female PC needs to be a lesbian? I am perfectly fine with gay people but when literally pretty much every female PC is a lesbian it's gotten pretty fucking ridiculous.

I'm just here for this quest. Can't really speak for others. And there plenty of wonderful straight ladies media out there. Green lantern the animated series has a wonderful romance.
