Lorena's surprise was visible in her expression. She had been under the impression that their designated commander thought poorly of her tactical acumen after the risk she took in their initial battle, but it seemed like Solus knew genius when he saw one after all! "If Dame War Forger would allow it, then I happily accept this responsibility!" The girl exclaimed, hands on her hips and a smile brimming with confidence etched on her face, an image only spoiled by the fresh bandage on her arm.
"Before we march, however, I require a few things." Her ungloved hand was raised besides her face, fingers clenched save for her index finger pointed at the ceiling. "I would like to begin the march while we still have daylight and return here by sundown at the latest. By your knowledge of the area, do you judge this possible?" Whilst the cover provided by the terrain was invaluable to keeping their movements concealed, the unfamiliarity of the terrain meant they could never discount the possibility of being lost, especially when the darkness of night could make already treacherous paths even more so.
There was mention of the local wildlife before too, and she did not fancy having to stave them off in a moonless night.
A second finger was raised. "A troop as large as ours once supplemented by the golems may risk discovery while we position for an ambush, so I would like it if the golems were made to blend in with the colors of the woods, and for cloaks of similar quality provided to those of us who prefer gleaming armors." Not her, of course. A cloak would simply ruin her image, and besides, the dark colors of her outfit sufficed for camouflage!
Then again, a dramatic reveal where she threw the cloak away once battle was joined did have its own appeal...
Her hand was brought to her chin, the elven sorceress falling into deep contemplation as she awaited answers, a figure as silent and still as the armored skeleton besides her.
