The New Gods of A Broken World

I haven't posted yet, but could I shove Spiral Power into the Forged and influence them to unite near the Temple of Eldione?

Also, I just realized a while ago--The forged are basically robots with (fighting) spirit.

What else is a robot with fighting spirit..?

You could just influence them the Regular way. But yes.

Crap, I think I realized a design flaw in the Skull. Can I make a minor retcon that the "mouth" of the mask opens to allow the wearer to eat and drink?

Actually, I have a few more questions. First is one concerning my domain of restoration. Since I'm capable of anything that falls under the concept of "restoration", that should logically mean I can engage in necromancy if I "restore" the dead back to life. If I were to resurrect the dead, how exactly would it work? Would the undead I make basically be mindless zombies, or would they be capable of cognitive thought? Would they remember their old lives or would they be ignorant of who they used to be? And to what extent can I resurrect the dead? Would they come back as skeletons or fleshy bodies? Could I raise entire populations from the if I wanted to?

Ok, I admit that one question led to a whole slew of others, but I digress.

On a similar note, out of curiosity, could you share the list of races that died during the cataclysm? Or are we supposed to learn that on our own?

Finally, and I swear this is the last one, does exploring the temples for clues as to what happened cost points? And is it as simple as going there ourselves, or do we have to contract a mortal to do it for us?

Sorry about the onslaught, by the way.

So what's everyone's rough plans for the beginning stages? Or are we keeping that a secret?

I think it sort of depends on whether everyone wants to cooperate. Personally, I'm still thinking about what I maybe should be doing. Otherwise, I might just experiment with what exactly I'm capable of. Depending on how things go, I might Create and guide a race of my own to hopefully help out with things. What kind of race, I'm still not sure.

What I'm, doing is trying to stabilize the natural world and give the races places where they can get resources from. I have a big plan for next turn as well that might help all of you. Or it might hinder you all. Not exactly sure of the consequences.

Help the Twilight aelves and the Forged re-establish civilisation.
Help who ever has a good idea with making divine artifacts.
Restore full powers to the forge hammer.
Perhaps go and make the world a bigger place again?

I do think everyone might be favoring the elves a bit much but then again I also plan to raise up the bird and beast races.

...so it'll either be amazing or terrible? Not sure what to feel about that...

Hey, I'm not playing favorites, so I'll be happy to look after whoever gets ignored. I'll warn you though, IC, Xolotl doesn't like favoritism (loving all life and all) and might grow resentful of its "siblings"...

That reminds me, if everyone's ok with it, I plan on posting an interlude outlining Xolotl's first impressions of the other New Gods once everyone's posted their turn 1 actions. I don't know if this disclaimer is necessary, this being a Roleplaying forum after all, but I want to assure everyone that Xolotl's IC opinions do not reflect my own. So I hope there's no hard feelings if Xolotl doesn't like your character.

No , do so.,
This IS a RP forum....

Honestly the idea of an interlude sounds like a lot of fun! ^^ I think I'll try making one from the point of view of one of Remxotl's servants after we see the results of the first round.

Yes, you "could". You'd only be Restoring the body though, they would be sentient but soulless, incapable of feeling emotions. They would remember, but wouldn't feel anything about them. They would be back to the state they were in before they died. How many points you wanna spend?

List:
  • Humans
  • Dwarves
  • Dragons
  • Merfolk
  • Light Elves
  • Dark Elves
  • Faeries
  • Lizardfolk
You need to influence the mortals to look through them.

I approve of this action!

Hmm, ok. At least they're not immediately hostile to the living then. I've seen that enough times in fiction.

How many points? Well, since I don't know how many points would do what (not even sure it's really worth the effort now) but let's say I hypothetically save up to have 15 points and sink them all into bringing back one of those random dead races. Would you be willing to reveal what the results spending that much to back one of the more mundane ones, like the humans or the dwarves? If not, then how many points would it require for a single individual from those races vs. the entire population?

Now that I've had time to think about it, maybe it would be more worth the effort to try and ascend one of the non-sentient species to sentience. I'm thinking things like apes, dogs, and dolphins: animals that don't necessarily have civilization or even sentience, but have complex behaviors and human-like thoughts and emotions. Are there any races on the continent like that? Intelligent and complex, if not necessarily on the same level as the 6 sentient races? And is that within my power to do (would it constitute as a 10 point "world event" in other words)?

Boy, I'm just full of questions today aren't I?

That would be an sufficient amount of points. For single individuals, 5 points.

That would be an Event, yes.

I APPROVE GREATLY.
Let us see, @ShieldCrown, what do we have to work wit? I am quite willing to help, either by providing a place or actually helping to make them.....
Do we have Dpiders, or Octopi, or ....
