To reiterate the point from the last page: Messing with a slayer means getting beaten to death with your own arms. So don't creep on slayers.

What? since when does Phyrexia have Plasma Cannons? Not that I wouldn't believe it, I just want evidence.
The books involving the Phyrexian invasion of Dominaria. Plus, lots of cards from the "Invasion Block" showing stuff like this as well (Urza was essentially riding around in a Battlemech while nuclear weapons and engineered plagues and plasma weaponry aboard anti-gravity powered Phyrexian spaceships were tearing apart the Alliance). The big problem with Phyrexia though is that it was building the bulk of its forces on the "Lowest bidder" frame of reference, so while it had anti-gravity spaceships and nuclear weapons and plasma weaponry, in the end it didn't have enough. After all, most of what Phyrexia would be facing would be disjointed medieval armies with magical support.

That said, it literally took two Dues Ex Machina's for Phyrexia to be stopped (the mass awakening of the Kavu and the use of ALL the white mana drawn from a moon of Dominaria to kill Yawgmoth himself).

I honestly just laughed at the one slayer who didn't mind being naked. I'm pretty sure she could get some enemies to surrender just with that.
Whyyyyy, Winter Hivers was the perfect gentleman... he did turn away... after slightly noticing something percuilar with their attire .

or lack of..

And ... as for Buffy... if he ever goes back to there for a visit and 'pizza'
If Winter ever starts choking while looking at Buffy or turning red... She'll probably know.... o_O

Could also be a case of his subconsciousness affecting the magic; he expects animal summons to act like obedient little beasts, so they do. He expects a bunch of Slayers to act like cocky teenage girls, so they do.

Correct me If i'm wrong but IIRC she is 'younger' than Winter, she didn't even know that she was a planeswalker until Winter told her, so that means that she 'died' in her world and her spark activated sending her to Westeros, so from where did she took the Angels, knights and lands?
You need an active spark to claim lands and essence?
Maybe knight summoning is a standard spell where she comes from

Nobody points out that in the future you will have at least ten lineages of ridiculously powerful females running around unchecked?

Oh those poor girls... they are going to be pested into marriage by every noble family on the damn planet... and no I'm not being sarcastic, I honestly think that's a terrible fate.
Now imagine the looks on the nobles' faces when they realize Slayerhood isn't hereditary.

Can Winter maintain summons from a different plane? Does he know that IC? Because if he doesn't, he's just bound himself to GoT for at least 5 years.

There's always this:

Seems like this would be fluffed as an actual return to life rather than "create perfect zombie" Like cards like back from the brink do.

also, 4 mana to revive something that costs 2 mana for ten of them seems really expensive.

My cult is getting a bit disturbing.

Ok, more disturbing.

I was on my way to Robbs command tent to see what if any of the information the raven scouts found was useful. I saw more and more snowflake medallions and symbols stitched to tents. Sure, they don't bother me and I have not seen anyone bothering anyone else about it but still...

Glory wanted this?

Nutty damn deity.

On the way to the tent I spotted somebody I recognized. One of the Slayers, Darla. They each picked their own names.

This particular Slayer is blond, has shoulder length hair and wearing a some leather pants with some kind of cloth shirt. Despite the hair, she reminded me more of Faith than Buffy.
There was some complaining about the way they dressed, let alone that they were to fight, but after a couple of 'demonstration fights' things quieted down.

"Darla" I greeted her "How are you handling things?" I asked her as I reached her.

She blinked and then shrugged "Things are okish. Kind of wish you summoned us in a less shitty world though. This place kind sucks, you know?"

I shook my head "If I had a choice, I would not have needed to summon you and the others at all. To be frank, creating sophonts is kind of...disturbing."

Darla shrugged "Yeah, sure. But we are still here...and existing is better than not, even in this hellhole."

I frowned slightly and then nodded "So how are the others handling things? I haven't had a chance to talk to half of the girls so far."

Darla shrugged again "Things are Okish like I said. Some of the others are handling things a bit worse...it's the small things that are missed most I think. You better find a way to find some supplies..." before she shook her head "It's the attitude of the people here that is the worst. Like girls cant do anything."

Snorting I smiled slightly "I bet you're changing their minds about that."

She nodded "Yeah, we sure are shattering some preconceptions. Anna got jumped on the way back to the tent last night by three soldiers. They got a bit...grabby."

That got my attention "Is she ok? Who are they?"

Somebody actually had the pure stones to jump one of My Slayers!

Darla smiled slightly "Oh she is just fine. There were only three of them...and hopefully it got it through to the rest with similar ideas that thinking girls are toys is bad idea."

I hesitated for a moment "I still want to know who it was.."

She nodded "I dont know, actually. I would say check the medical tent for three guys with all their limbs broken."

Ouch.

Well, that's still better than they deserve for going after a Slayer.

"I think I might go have a look. They are hardly going anywhere. I'll talk to Anna after the meeting with The King." I said and Darla nodded.

"I'll tell her you wanted to see her." she answered before she continued "Is the fighting going to start soon?"

I hmmed and then shrugged "I'm about to find out. Stark should have the information now and I was just going to check."

I then frowned slightly "The offer is still open." I continued.

I offered the slayers the option to walk away. They would be given a pouch of silver and be allowed to go their own way. They would not be unsummoned or anything.

Not giving them the choice just because they are summons would be hypocritical. They are sophonts, they have the right to chose.

Darla shook her head and crossed her arms "We talked it over, we are with you. Not only is it the right thing to do, but also...if you get yourself killed, we go with you."

Nodding I smiled slightly "Thanks." and then turned "I should get going."

Darla nodded "Ok, let us know if things are about to get real bad. I'll go tell Anna you wish to see if she is ok."

A few minutes later I entered the command tent while making a mental note to go check the medical tent later.

While they have been punished already, there was some putting the fear of god into them to do. That rep my cult has been putting out has to be good for something.

"Stark. Any news?" I asked as I spotted The King of The North standing by the table, reading a note.

Robb turned and then nodded "Yes...the latest scout reported that the Baratheon army have left King's Landing. They are marching north. No word of those 'Angels'."

I slowly nodded "They are coming for us. Let's find a place where they can find us. If they are willing to let us pick the place of battle, how about we let them. What's the ETA?"

Stark blinked but have gotten used to my way of speaking by now "About a week and a half. I have some ideas for positions for us to take..." and turned to the map as I moved to join him.

AN// Big thanks to Fellgar for betaing this part.

Did they even have abbreviations like 'ETA' back then?

Has anyone in the fic noticed the whole "Winter is coming" thing?

It comes up every third page or so.
Since Winter came to the Song of Fire and Ice 'verse, as I don't remember it cropping up that frequently before.[/Unnecessary Clarification]

The Slayers do still have the problem that without anti-air weapons the Angels can plink them from far too high up for them to counterattack. Flyers have gravity giving energy to their projectiles while the slayers have gravity taking it away. If the Angels used intelligent tactics they could kite the slayers forever, chipping away at them until they get tired and die.

The Angel's aren't numerous enough to win battles. They're there to smash strong points and create openings for the army to exploit. Even if they have free reign of the air, which they don't with Winter around, arrows can only do so much damage, damage that an army can absorb. With the guns on the Stark side the Baratheons loose that battle of attrition.

except the slayers are not alone and are there to keep the angles out of the army. if the angles stay in the air they are not making a mess of the army and their advantage drops since they have to find some way to keep shooting or throwing stuff down. Add to this a plainswalker waiting to shoot them down as soon as he gets a clear shot for a big lightning bolt and the are almost entirely negated as a serious threat. Unless they swoop in close enough he can not risk shooting at them and the slayers can try to grab them. This of course assumes that the angles recognize the danger at all. if they just swoop in on the army like normal, the slayers might get to surprise kill them before any reports of super-strong girls that need to be avoided get to the rest.
You do need to watch out for them angles. An exceedingly deadly threat, they are.
