To reiterate the point from the last page: Messing with a slayer means getting beaten to death with your own arms. So don't creep on slayers.
The books involving the Phyrexian invasion of Dominaria. Plus, lots of cards from the "Invasion Block" showing stuff like this as well (Urza was essentially riding around in a Battlemech while nuclear weapons and engineered plagues and plasma weaponry aboard anti-gravity powered Phyrexian spaceships were tearing apart the Alliance). The big problem with Phyrexia though is that it was building the bulk of its forces on the "Lowest bidder" frame of reference, so while it had anti-gravity spaceships and nuclear weapons and plasma weaponry, in the end it didn't have enough. After all, most of what Phyrexia would be facing would be disjointed medieval armies with magical support.CKirk said:What? since when does Phyrexia have Plasma Cannons? Not that I wouldn't believe it, I just want evidence.
Whyyyyy, Winter Hivers was the perfect gentleman... he did turn away... after slightly noticing something percuilar with their attire .1Coltsguy said:I honestly just laughed at the one slayer who didn't mind being naked. I'm pretty sure she could get some enemies to surrender just with that.
Maybe knight summoning is a standard spell where she comes fromOrganic Intelligence said:Correct me If i'm wrong but IIRC she is 'younger' than Winter, she didn't even know that she was a planeswalker until Winter told her, so that means that she 'died' in her world and her spark activated sending her to Westeros, so from where did she took the Angels, knights and lands?
You need an active spark to claim lands and essence?
Now imagine the looks on the nobles' faces when they realize Slayerhood isn't hereditary.tkioz said:Oh those poor girls... they are going to be pested into marriage by every noble family on the damn planet... and no I'm not being sarcastic, I honestly think that's a terrible fate.
Back then it was unwashed monster women. These days it's green skinned space babes.Mr Zoat said:I guess that people back in the time of the First Slayer had a thing for crazy unwashed monster women.

Hiver said:I slowly nodded "They are coming for us. Let's find a place where they can find us. If they are willing to let us pick the place of battle, how about we let them. What's the ETA?"
Stark blinked but have gotten used to my way of speaking by now "About a week and a half. I have some ideas for positions for us to take..." and turned to the map as I moved to join him.
It comes up every third page or so.Ghoohg said:Has anyone in the fic noticed the whole "Winter is coming" thing?
Since Winter came to the Song of Fire and Ice 'verse, as I don't remember it cropping up that frequently before.[/Unnecessary Clarification]spencer1519 said:
You do need to watch out for them angles. An exceedingly deadly threat, they are.PhantomPhysicst said:except the slayers are not alone and are there to keep the angles out of the army. if the angles stay in the air they are not making a mess of the army and their advantage drops since they have to find some way to keep shooting or throwing stuff down. Add to this a plainswalker waiting to shoot them down as soon as he gets a clear shot for a big lightning bolt and the are almost entirely negated as a serious threat. Unless they swoop in close enough he can not risk shooting at them and the slayers can try to grab them. This of course assumes that the angles recognize the danger at all. if they just swoop in on the army like normal, the slayers might get to surprise kill them before any reports of super-strong girls that need to be avoided get to the rest.
