Scraped from here.

The raven scouts reported back after the Stark army had been on the road for a week. Tywins army had fallen.

They were not sure how, when they arrived the remains were already fleeing along the King's road, heading north and east.

Half a week later we ran into the first stragglers from their cavalry.

They knew nothing, they were engaging the cavalry when the main army folded in on itself and broke.

It took another day until we met somebody that knew something.

That someone was a Lord Tywin.

We had set up camp when he rode in with a small gathering of guards and asked for a audience with Robb Stark.

I was sitting at the back of the tent by the table, playing with a raven when he entered the command tent.

Ravens are remarkably smart, especially Westerosi ones. They are actually quite skilled at playing Shell Games. Well, better than my sleight of hand at the very least which granted, is not the best.

"Lord Stark." Tywin said as he walked inside. Robb Stark had his back to him, facing the fire.

"Lord Tywin." Robb answered without turning around, "Where are my sisters?"

"I do not know. The oldest was in the city when it fell to the demons. We... never had the youngest."

"What?" Robb asked as he turned to face the older lord.

"We never had the youngest. She slipped out of our grasp when your father was arrested."

I could see it hit Robb almost as a hammer blow. Before he knew where they were and they were safeish. Now his smallest sister could be anywere.

"Tell me about the demons." I injected and Tywin spun around like he had not noticed me before. He might not have.

"Who are..." he started before he stopped, "You are Winter."

I nodded, "I am. I doubt your spies had to work that hard to find that out though. Now, tell me about the demons."

"You are like her. The white witch. The one with Stannis." Tywin said as he swallowed and I eyed him.

"You are here for a reason, Tywin Lannister. You could have gone east to Casterly Rock. Instead you went North. Tell me about the demons."

He glanced at Robb and then nodded.

"We had movement at the walls before the Baratheon forces marched out the gate to meet us on the field of battle. We were surprised they did not stay behind the city walls, but we moved to counter."

Tywin swallowed and then turned to Robb, "Lord Stark...could I have some wine?"

Robb nodded and handed him a goblet, from which he drunk deeply.

Tywin sighed, "Thank you...we have ridden hard for days. We needed to reach you."

The Lord Stark frowned, "Continue."

I leaned back against the chair as Tywin nodded, "They waited until we had engaged their main army before they struck. Just twenty of them. They flew through the air like birds and struck our army hard. Their swords cut true and hard, no man could slay them. They cut through my men like a farmer cut through wheat."

What.

That was pretty much my reaction.

What.

I slowly took a breath, "Describe them. As closely as you can."

Tywin downed another goblet of wine before he nodded, "They were like men, knights. They had grey metal armor and white wings on their backs. They wielded swords and spears. I...was to far away to get a good look at the fighting. But I have descriptions from my men. Their swords hammered through any shield, any block my warriors tried. They cut straight through men, throwing men yards away with one arm."

Angels.

Mary had Angels.

Oh. Fuck.

I slowly nodded, "Thank you, Lord Lannister." as Robb leaned against the table.

"Why did you come here?" He asked the beaten Lord.

Tywin swallowed "You are the only army left. I would rather be your prisoner than theirs...They killed everyone in my family that resisted them, that much we were able to find out. My daughter, my son and my grandson are dead. I do not wish to follow them. The house must survive."

Robb watched him for a moment before calling for a guard, "Take Lord Lannister to his tent. Treat him as a guest, not a prisoner."

When Tywin had left Robb turned to me "Have you heard of such a thing before?" he asked and I slowly nodded.

"I have. This is...bad." I answered him as I dismissed my raven.

"What do you suggest we do?" he asked and I frowned, glancing over at him as I stood up.

"I believe we should hold camp here. I need to get something."

There are a few beings I have run into that could fight what Tywin described in a effective way. Lugging a couple of cases of AK-47 through the Blind Eternities would also work, but I doubted I could do that. It was hard enough with just me and my backpack.

A bunch of guns and ammo would be to much, if they even survived.

There were a few beings I had run into so far that could handle what Tywin described. Tresher maws, giant Varren. The Mayor.

But there was only one being that could fight them on a even ground and not rampage through my army at the same time.

Angels. Why did it have to be Angels?

I punched through the outer edges of reality, the winds of uncreation clawing at the little bubble of reality contained by my Spark.

I barely had time to gasp as I realized I was in the air falling towards a tree. For some reason I appeared twenty meters in the sodding air!

I barely had time to flip upright and PUSH with my telekinesis, putting my entire remaining blue land into it.

Even putting that much into it I hit the ground hard due to the short time but I managed to turn a bone breaking and possibly fatal fall into a heavy roll.

"Fucking hell..." I cursed as I struggled onto my feet, looking around. I was in some kind of construction yard. It was empty even if it was lights out. Perhaps it was a Sunday or something.

I brushed the dust from my t-shirt and jeans before picking up my dropped backpack and heading out to look for any clue to where I was. It did not take long until I recognized my location.

Sunnydale.

As I watched the coffeehouse I frowned. That was...strange. I was definitely NOT at the location of Sunnydale when I left Westeros. Speaking of which, it was just plain strange I ended up in Sunnydale when I walked for the first time and not in Sweden.

I glanced back at the spot in the air I fell from. Perhaps it was some kind of resonance reaction with the Hellmouth?

I tapped my finger against my leg before I shook my head and started towards the Summers home. The buildings in town were still standing and there were people going about their business, so they beat the Mayor. Good.

Smiling I turned off the road and up to the Summers home and knocked on the door.

There was some noise inside before the door opened...to reveal Dawn.

She froze for a moment, staring at me before she squealed "Winter!" and almost launched herself at me only to catch herself and back away "No...You are dead."

"The rumors of my demise are a bit exaggerated." I told her while looking her over. Young.

Too young...Unless my sense of time and memory is completely of center, they would be up to at least season six if not early seven by now.

Something was wrong.

"Is Buffy home?" I asked her and she slowly nodded as somebody called for her out of view.

"Buffy!" She called back and soon said blond death machine appeared.

"Hello Paladin." I said, smiling slightly. I honestly missed her.

She froze and stared at me.

"You are dead." She said with a faint tone and I shook my head.

"Exaggerated and all that. No, I escaped the same way as I ended up here. Only just found out how to control it. The Mayor?" I asked and she slowly shook her head.

"W-we beat him. We had the books and called in the Council for help. They took him out with rocket launchers after he transformed. Kendra?" Buffy asked and I shook my head, sighing.

"Dead. He killed her in front of me. Saved my life. Everyone all right?"

Buffy swallowed and shook her head "G-giles is an arm short. M-my mother is..."

I forgot about that.

"I'm sorry." I told her and stepped over the threshold, offering a hug.

She took it.

As I let go she stepped back "What's going on?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"A hell goddess called Glorificus is looking for something called The Key." Buffy said and then she smiled slightly "We missed you."

"We did." Dawn said and I glanced over at her.

"Buffy..." I asked "Who is the girl?"

Buffy blinked "What do you mean? That's Dawn, my little sister."

I shook my head "Buffy, you were a single child when I left."

"No I wasn't!" She said with a frown and I looked between them before offering Dawn my hand.

"Dawn, let me have a look. Something strange is going on."

"Winter...You are scaring me..." She said but took my hand and I nodded.

"It wont hurt." I said before I closed my eyes, channeling a bit of black.

Her soul felt...normal at the surface. As I slowly delved deeper I could feel a small hard Green Spark at the center, giving the rest of her soul a slight green tint.

She had the Spark. A strange green tiny one but a Spark. An inactive one and one that felt different than mine, but it was still a sodding Spark!

I let her go and frowned "Your soul is...not normal. It is however real." and then I looked a Buffy "I think she is The Key."

"I'm not a Key!" Dawn exclaimed and stepped back.

I gave her a small smile "Dawn, if you are, and I'm not saying I am right here, it is just an educated guess with the available information, it do not make you any less real than anyone else. Your soul is right there and it is real."

Buffy looked between us "We need Giles."

I slowly nodded "I think we do." and then frowned "You have graduated by now. Where do we meet up now?"

"He bought a magic shop down town. T-that's were meetings are now." Dawn said as she hugged herself, still disturbed by what I said.

I might have been a bit blunt, but she deserved to know.

On our way there Buffy glanced at me "So where have you been?" she asked and I shook my head.

"All over the place...and I can't stay here. I came to ask for help." I told her as I enjoyed the sunshine. It was so good to be somewhere people did not stare at you.

"Help?" she asked and I nodded as Dawn followed along behind us, letting us talk.

I nodded "I'll explain it when everyone is gathered. It is a rather long story and I rather not tell it twice. But I cannot stay long, maybe a day or two."

She gave me a worried look and then nodded. We continued in silence until we reached The Magic Box and walked inside as I pushed the door open.

"Hello Giles." I said as I gave the old man a smile. He still had two arms but his left arm felt magic from the elbow and down. Magical replacement of some sort.

He was cleaning his glasses as I greeted him and he twitched in surprise and chock, dropping his glasses.

"W-winter? But you are...how?" he asked as he managed to get his glasses back on, staring at me as if he was seeing a ghost.

I smiled slightly "Same way I first arrived here. But I'll explain in detail when the whole gang is gathered...we have some more things to discuss as well."

"Xander. Willow." I smiled as they walked into the magic shop. "Girl I dont know." I continued as Tara followed them inside.

"Buffy said you were back." Xander said "Didn't really believe it though..."

I shook my head "Got lucky. And who is this?" I asked as I eyed Tara.

"I-I'm Tara Maclay." The blond girl answered "Willow said you got her into magic?"

"She's my girlfriend." Willow blurted out and smiled happily.

I gave her a smile back "Glad to meet you Tara, As you know, name is Winter. As for getting Willow into magic, that was more Willow being curious then anything else." I then eyed the girls "You two look good together. Congratulations."

I then turned to Xander "Been keeping up with your training?" He nodded.

"Yep. Buffy still kicks my ass though." he said and I snorted.

"She can kick everyone's ass. You would likely beat me now though, I've been slacking off on the physical stuff." I said before looking around, doing a quick count "Are we waiting for somebody else?" I asked and Buffy nodded.

"Yeah. She should be here at any mome..." She said, though that was as far as she got before the door opened to let a redhead in.

She moved like Buffy.

"Hey guys." She said "What's going on? I got the batsignal, something about some guy named Winter?"

"Winter, this is Tanya. She is Kendra's..." Buffy said and stopped as I nodded, eyeing the new slayer.

No Faith then.

The new girl was short, about Buffy's size but a bit more... talented in the chest region. As she was a slayer she also was a complete knockout. Shoulder length red hair, nice green eyes. She was wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

"Hello, Tanya. I'm Winter." I said, shaking her hand before I looked between the rest.

Tanya walked and sat down as Buffy leaned back against the counter "Everyone's here. So what's up?"

I paused for a moment, looking around the store. It was like I remember from the show, different from the place I bought my first magic book. Someone renovated.

Wonder what happened with the old man?

I shook my head before I started "I don't really know where to start."

"The beginning is usually a good place." Giles said and I nodded.

"Very well. As you all know, well other than maybe Tara and Tanya, is that I am from another reality. I ended up here by accident, and I left the same way. When my life was in imminent danger, I jumped to another reality. What I did not know at the time was that the first time I jumped, or Walked as it is called, I ceased to be completely human."

"How do you mean?" Buffy asked as Tanya shifted in her seat, her hand resting close to her boot. Likely a hidden dagger. Good girl.

"On my world there was a... well, call it a legend. One in a million people have this thing called The Spark." I said and looked between them "Think of it as... Well, think of it as being a potential Slayer." I said, giving the two slayers in the room a nod.

"One in a million of those potential Sparks can Ignite, causing the being to ascend. This can be caused by several things; violent death, reaching enlightenment, delving deep into the mystical arts. In my case it was a train to the face." I continued.

"Ascend to what?" Giles asked and I gave him a nod.

"To become a Planeswalker. A being with the ability to walk between worlds, to survive in the space 'Outside'. To travel through the Blind Eternities."

The group switched their looks from me to Giles who frowned before he shook his head.

"Never read about anything like it. There are demons able to travel between dimensions and rituals for it but I have never heard of a being able to do it at will." He said and I smiled slightly.

"I'm likely the first one to come to this Plane. My kind tend to... leave an impression on the locals." I sand and Tara gave me a wary look.

"How so?" She asked and I sighed as I shook my head.

"Has anyone ever heard of Land magic?" I asked, switching my look between Giles, Willow and Tara.

The two witches shook their heads and Giles frowned "Not exactly like that, but the old druids were said to gain their power from the land. Wiccans pull their power from the earth as well." he said and Willow shook her head.

"Not from the Earth, from nature. There is a difference."

I nodded "Well, powers derived from Land are called Mana. Each type of mana has different properties, and there are five kinds of mana I have been able to identify so far Let's use Red as an example here real quick. It is the color of destruction, of emotions, of pure unlimited power. Of fire and lightening. It will not be contained, will not be limited. It is very good for direct damage spells like fireballs. With me so far?"

Nods of understanding came the entire group.

"Good. Now the other colors beyond Red are White, Black, Green, and Blue. Each of them can be used for different kind of spells and come from different lands. White mana comes from plains and is associated with angels and healing, black mana comes from swamps and is associated with death and decay, green mana comes from forests and is associated with nature and growth, blue mana comes from islands and water and is tied to knowledge and manipulation, and red which I explained comes from mountains. Anything like that sound familiar?" I asked and got answers of "No" and head shakes in return.

Giles frowned "That kind of power is never free." he said and I couldn't help but nod.

"First law of magic. Nothing is EVER free." I said before I shook my head "The price is simple. It messes with your head. No, it's not mind control, nothing that... simple. It changes you on a fundamental level. Using Red for example, makes you much more likely to act rashly, lash out, follow your emotions. To not think things through."

"And you use this power?" Giles asked rhetorically before saying "That is a steep price to pay... and a dangerous one." Willow frowned as if she was contemplating something.

"What kinds of Mana do you use?" She asked and I smiled.

"I am slightly heavy on White, but other than that I have one of each." I answered. I picked up another White mana while I waited for the muskets to finish. I hated to bring myself off balance again, but I needed the healing power. I'll pick up new of the other colors as they come available. I just need to watch myself until then. "I try to keep a balance between them to keep their affect on my mind minimal. The extra white was due to... necessity."

Willow slowly nodded and I continued "This mana balance is part of why I am back... I need help."

"With what?" Buffy asked and I frowned.

"I have been in several worlds since I left here. The last one was a more medieval setting. Since I arrived here... I have fought in wars, helped a species not die out, fought demons and vampires as well as servants of giant space cyborg cuttlefish." I said before glancing at them and shook my head "Don't ask." I said and then I continued.

"I arrived on this Plane. The people were simple folk and I took up residency in a local Inn in a small town. I just wanted to get away from the fighting. Relax."

I played with a pen I picked up from the counter "It didn't last. A few days later a stranger came to the village...a woman, looking about twenty. Beautiful. She healed people and it did not take long before I realized she was like me. A Planeswalker."

"What happened?" Willow asked and I gave her a small smile.

"I didn't agree with her plan to purge all undesirables from the world so she tried to kill me." I answered and they stared at me so I shook my head.

"Her name is Mary... and from what I have been able to tell, She has only White mana."

Tara frowned "But White magic is supposed to be good." and I smiled sadly.

"Seen from its best side, it is. White mana is the color of compassion, of civilization. Humans are White color creatures. But white is also completely rigid, white is Law. White is Order."

I shook my head "White is the book 1984. White is Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. Mary's head is so twisted by the White Mana she uses that she is unable to see anyone that is not on her side as anything but pure evil."

"You said you were heavy on white as well?" Giles injected and I nodded.

"Yes, but only by one land. I have others to counteract it and it takes time for mana to work its 'mind mojo' on a person. I just need to find some time in a Swamp and I will be able to counteract it completely. Black counters White and the other way around."

Tanya looked at me "You want us to help fight her." she stated and I sighed.

"Not exactly... and Yes. You see, there is something else you can do with Mana that is not just a spell. You can also..." and that was as far as I got when the door shattered to splinters, revealing a curly haired blond chick in a red dress and high heels.

The Hellgoddess Glorificus walked inside with a sneer on her lips "Ok, I have had it. You will tell me where The Key is! NOW!"

Everyone stared at the sudden appearce of the hell Goddess before the slayers sprang to action.

Buffy vaulted over the store counter, pulling out a large battle axe hidden beneath it as Tanya did a fucking flip over the back of the couch, pulling a metal quarter staff from the edge of the shelf.

I could only assume they went through my apartment after I went missing and learned from the way I stored weapons. In other words, everywhere.

Glory ignored the armed slayers as she almost stalked into the store "I know at least one of you know where The Key is. You will tell m..." she started before her eyes met mine and she froze for a split second before her expression morphed to that of a dog that had chased a kitten around a corner and suddenly found itself nose to nose with a fully grown red dragon.

Her eyes widened and she switched, scrambling backwards. Somehow her shoes did not handle superhuman goddess strength when it was not tightly controlled and both her high heels snapped like twigs, dumping her onto her rear.

I slowly dropped the TK spell I was gathering mana for. Super strength is not useful without leverage. It might not actually be needed.

My guess...Glory knew what I was.

"Hello, Glorificus." I said as I eyed the clearly terrified goddess as the group stared at us both.

"I...You...You are...I..." Glory stuttered and I smiled.

"Yes. I am. Are you going to behave?" I asked and she swallowed hard before she nodded.

"What the hell?" I heard from my left and I turned to Buffy as she spoke up "What is going on?"

"It turn out that your hell goddess knows what I am." I told her, glancing at Glory who still had not moved from her place on the floor with her back against the wall next to the door.

"To get such a reaction..." Giles injected as he stepped out from behind the closest book shelf with a familiar battleaxe.

I shrugged "I am not sure if my kind age or if there is a limit to how much power we can gather. You have met my kind before?" I asked as I turned to Glory who slowly shook her head.

"N-no...stories." she said and I turned back to Giles.

"Still, she recognized me for what I was and was smart enough not to try something." I said before I turned to Glory "Leave. Now."

"B-but...Key..." she mustered up the courage to say and I frowned.

"Don't care. Leave."

She scrambled out the door.

I sighed and leaned back against the counter, as they all stared at me, I sighed again.

I got quite enough of that back at the Stark camp.

"Where were we?" I asked as I glanced around as everyone started to stand down, Dawn peaking out from behind a shelf in the back as the Slayers disarmed.

"I-I believe you said something about needing help?" Giles said as he started to clean his glasses.

Sighing I nodded "Yes...This Mary I talked about. She is like me. Mana magic drawn from Land is a very potent force. It can be used to cast spells, destroy...but also to create."

I waved my hand, summoning a raven on the counter "This is a raven of Westerosi breed. It is 100% real. It is not a illusion, it is not a golem or construct. It is a raven. It even has what passes for a soul of an animal."

Tara shook her head "That's impossible. You can not create Life with magic."

I smiled as I commanded the raven to fly over and land on her armrest "It is real. Check it any way you wish. Only way that differ it from a normal Westerosi raven is that it currently subsist with the help of my mana supply. After it have eaten enough to have replaced all the fake matter in it's body with the real deal, it is independent from me."

"What do this have to do with this Mary and you needing help?" Tanya asked and I frowned.

"Mary...is at least as strong as me. She also has summons as we call it that I don't have. I've got a couple of animals. She has Knights...and Angels." I said and once again I got the stares.

"A-Angels?" Dawn asked and I sighed in annoyance.

"Winged humanoids aligned with White Mana. Sometimes a name is just a name, Dawn. Stronger, faster and tougher than any human. My army in Westeros that oppose her are superior in equipment and training...but with Angels she can bypass that and strike in the middle. If I was at the site of the strike, I could smite them from the skies. But my offensive magic has limited range. I can not be everywhere at once. I need someone able to fight them."

"You want to take us there to fight them?" Buffy asked and I shook my head.

"Nobody but my kind can survive the Blind Eternities. I...want your permission to copy the essence of a Slayer." I told her, there was no use beating around the bush with it.

"You want to...what?" she asked and I sighed.

"Slayers could fight them at least a one on one basis if not more. I...could not think of any other way to beat them. Not a practical way."

"Does it...hurt?" Buffy asked and Giles put his hand up.

"Wait a moment...what you are suggesting is to create Slayers? Living breathing Slayers...With souls?" he asked and I nodded.

"And if you cancel this summon spell? You said it were using your mana while it was alive...if you needed the mana for something else?" he asked and I frowned, not really liking his tone.

"They would die." I said, waving my hand and dismissing the raven, making it fade into nothing. "But I would not do that. If I know my science right, it would take about five years for them to eat and metabolize enough to be self sufficient. You know me Giles. I would not throw lives away for nothing, especially not life I create."

"You just did." He said and looked at here the raven was and I frowned.

"It was a raven, not a human. There is a difference between a being that think and feel and a bird. And the choice is not yours." I told him before I turned to Buffy "It is up to you...Well, and Tanya I guess." I continued, glancing over at the redhead.

"So if you 'summoned' Slayers...would they be copies of me?" She asked and I shook my head.

"No, they would be generic Slayers. Likely Americans and around your age, but that as close as it get." I said.

The shop was silent before Buffy nodded "Ok..."

I nodded "Are you sure?" I asked and she frowned before she nodded.

"If it is as you say...then yes." Buffy said before she glanced up at me "They are going to be...in much danger?" she asked.

I frowned and then sighed "Honestly? Less than you are in Sunnydale."

She nodded "Ok...so what do we do?"

I took her hand and did the scan. White and Red mana. I suspected Slayers were White and Red.

"It is done." I told her with a smile. "Painless and harmless."

"I didnt feel anything." She said "I wouldn't even have noticed..."

Nodding I turned to lean against the counter "I know. But I needed to ask...not right just to take it."

Then I sighed "Now I need to go handle something. I'll be back in a couple of hours" I told them as I turned to walk through the broken door.

"Where are you going?" Willow asked and I glanced over my shoulder.

"I believe you have a Goddess problem. I'm going to go see if I can't solve it for you."

Finding Glory was not that easy.

I had to resort to summoning all the ravens I could and send them out looking for blonds in red dresses. That was about as advanced instructions as I could make them understand. I was just glad they were Westorsi ravens or they would had been even stupider.

I only had one false positive before I found the real deal.

I walked into the hotel and took the lift to the top floor before I knocked at the door. There was a noise on the other side as somebody looked through viewer and then there was a small squeak.

Rolling my eyes I knocked again "Listen, this can end two ways. Me talking with Glorificus or me talking with Glorificus while annoyed. You pick."

There was some scuffling and then the door opened to reveal a ugly creature. Some kind of brown demon covered with warts.

"Oh great one, The Glorious vision of Beauty is waiting in the other room." it said while bowing deeply.

I rolled my eyes and walked past the servant into the other room. Nice rooms. Presidential suite.

Glory was sitting in a comfy chair, almost a throne when I entered the 'living room'. She looked much more comfortable now but she was clearly nervous as she got to her (new) high heels.

"I greet you, Walker of Worlds." Glory said and bent her head, almost bowing.

I raised my eyebrow. First time I actually get the respect of my station and it's from a semi nuts narcissistic hell goddess.

Great.

"Glorificus." I said while looking around "Nice place."

"It was the best these primitives had in this place." She said and I frowned.

"I happen to like these primitives." I told her and she swallowed.

"They have their good sides." she quickly added.

I slowly nodded "What do you know of my kind?" I asked and he the hell goddess swallowed.

"You can create and destroy life, entire worlds. You are as far above gods as we are above mortals. The primitives in this would might be too stupid to show me proper respect, but I have no intention of being killed." she said and I hmmed, eyeing the blond deity.

Was it me, or did she seem smarter than what I remember for the series? Or maybe it's because she is not interacting with somebody she see as beneath her?

"What do you want with The Key?" I asked and she swallowed.

"I wish to return to my own World, Walker of Worlds. The Key is the only way I know how." she said and I raised my eyebrow.

"You do realize that The Key would destroy this Plane and likely several others as well if used?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yes, but why would I c..." she said before she seemed to remember that I liked these primitives "I mean...I dont know any other way."

I slowly nodded "And how exactly did you plan to survive? Throw yourself into The Blind Eternities and hope to survive and find your way home?" I asked her and she gave me a blank look.

"The what?" she asked and I felt a urge to facepalm.

"Oh for crying out loud..." I said, channeling Jack O'Neill for a moment. "You don't even know what...You are like a fucking chimp at the stick of a 747."

I shook my head "Look, the space between worlds destroy ANYTHING not of my kind."

"But...I was sent here." she said and I nodded.

"Yes, there are ways to travel, but it require rituals and advanced techniques, like weakened dimensional barriers! And most likely some kind of device set up at each side. It's less traveling between worlds and more teleporting between them! Glorificus, what you tried to do, would have killed you!"

She watched me with wide eyes and I sighed "Besides, you are residing in the body of a mortal, am I right?" I asked and she nodded so I continued "Your...well, lets use 'soul' for now as this language lack the proper terms was likely everything that was sent here and bound into the mortals body. Your real body are likely dead."

Glory looked like she was about to cry "...What are you saying?" she asked and I leaned against the couch.

"You are likely stuck here." I said and shook my head "Besides, if your 'rivals' managed to defeat you and send you here, why would they not be able to do the same again? Especially if you came home like this? They have entrenched positions and you would be new on the scene. They would stomp you to the ground."

"I just want to go home." She said sadly, burring her fingers to the knuckles in the wood of the chair she was standing next to "I miss my worshipers...all the gifts and gold and sacrifices."

I watched the hell goddess for a moment, trying to decide if she actually was evil or if people actually didn't even register to her.

"How is your head?" I asked her and she turned to me.

"Why?" she asked and I frowned.

"You are fighting for control of that mortal, he still has his soul and he is on his home turf. How do you stay sane?" I asked and she swallowed.

"I...drain sanity from primitives." she said and I tapped my finger against my leg. I already knew that.

"Come here." I said and she slowly scooted closer, to afraid to disobey.

"Please...dont hurt me." Glory almost begged as I put my hand on her head.

"I will...try not to." I answered as I closed my eyes and channeled my Blue and Black mana.

This was going to be...tricky. And it might fail.

But if it failed, she would still not be a threat to any one so...win/win?

I dug my mental fingers into the soul of Ben and the 'Soul' of Glory, slowly moving things around. Very, very carefully I made connections between them.

Messing with souls was not something I was used to, but in a way it was easier than handling Minds. Less fragile and easier to move around. Less moving parts so to speak.

Shift Ben a bit to the side, move Glory in place, tie things down a bit there, make a small knot there...

When I pulled back and opened my eyes again it was already dark out side.

I let her go and she collapsed onto the floor, panting "W-what..."

I looked down at her "I shifted things around a bit. You no longer need to fight the mortal, you are both anchored equally in the body. 50% of the time, it is his. The rest it is yours. You don't need to drain sanity to keep him suppressed...nor will it help you in any way."

"But...why...should he..." she panted and I frowned.

"It is his body. Be grateful I gave you that much....If you start killing locals again, I will know...and I wont be as forgiving again." I told the hell goddess and she nodded weakly.

"B-but what am I to do now?" Glory asked and I shrugged.

"Not my problem. Build a new cult of followers. Dress in a latex cat suit and fight crime. I don't really care...just get out of town and don't kill the locals." I said as I turned to walk out.

Sadly I was unable to gather her essence. I got a good feel of it, but I lacked enough Red to gather it. Same problem as my damn pistol.

Buffy stared at me as if I had grown another head. "You told Glory to give up on the key and get out of town...and she did?"

I shrugged, "Last I saw her she was curled on the floor, crying. If she took my 'advice', I don't know. She should. Glory is smarter than you know, I think..."

"Glory? Smart?" Buffy said and gave me a dubious look.

I shook my head "She didn't regard any of you as actual people, just lower beings. Why use tactics against things that can't hurt you?" and then I grinned "And I never said she was smart, just that she is capable of using other tactics other than 'HULK SMASH!'."

Buffy shook her head and leaned her back against the tree. We were in one of the graveyards as I found her during a patrol.

"And she regarded you as a equal?" she asked and I shook my head.

"She regarded me like a bunny would a tiger. Still, I have to leave. I do not know the time difference between here and Westeros. For all I know a thousand years might pass for each second I am here...in which case I have already lost. But I should leave as soon as possibly in any case."

"Are you coming back again?" She asked and I nodded.

"When I can. I need to at least deal with this entire war thing first." I told her and she stepped up to hug me.

"Try to keep them safe? The slayers I mean?" she said and I hugged back before letting go "I promise. Keep Dawn safe...she is The Key...but she is also more." I said and Buffy frowned.

"What do that mean?"

I crossed my arms in thought before I answered "Dawn was created to house The Key. But that does not mean she is not real. She really is your sister and she has a soul and all. The way she was made has nothing to do with things. Make sure she understand this. I would tell her myself, but I really need to leave."

Buffy nodded "Be careful."

I grinned "Am I not always?" I answered before I focused and pulled at my Spark as I turned and stepped out of reality.

Winds of light and uncreation clawed at me as I faced the Blind Eternities for the third time. Time, matter, sound and color. None of it having any meaning and at the same time being the same thing that mattered.

I gritted my teeth and struggled onwards, following the link my lands gave me to Westeros.

After a Eternity and as soon as I left the world of Buffy, I punched back into a reality, panting as I dropped to my knees in the middle of a snowy wasteland.

"What the fu..." was the first words out of my mouth as I looked around.

I must have been north of The Wall.

I struggled back onto my feet and looked around as I frowned. That didn't make any sodding sense. I left in the south, ending up in Sunnydale. That could be explained with the Hellmouth messing with things.

But if I left from Sunnydale, I should have ended up in my previous location. That would mean somewhere to the... west? Somewhere near the ocean? So why the fuck did I end up so far North?

I rubbed my forehead and looked around. I need more data...with more data points, I would sooner or later be able to figure it out. But I didn't have time for that now.

Shaking my head, I summoned a Raven and grew it to full size before I dumped one of my White mana into summoning a saddle for it.

I strapped it in place, climbed into the saddle and the raven took off. Flying south, I was forced to pull on my Red mana to keep myself warm in the frigid winds.

As the Raven flew it left me alone with my thoughts.

The location where I ended up was bugging me. Perhaps it had something to do with this world's seasons? I glanced up at the sun. Perhaps it was on it's side in a elliptic orbit? Perhaps in a two star system with one normal and one very small and cold second star?

I could see The Wall in the distance and I urged the Raven to fly as high as it could. I rather not have reports of giant ravens flying South across the wall. As we passed it I blinked and then cursed.

I just squandered the first and only real chance to get a proper pizza I had had in years. First I was on Omega, then I was on the Normandy and not before long, I was on Orilla. The little time I had spent on Earth was spent playing alien.

That made me very annoyed for the rest of the day.

At the very least, it looked like the same season when I left, not that would say much in Westeros. Hopefully that was a sign that not too much time had passed since I left. But a thousand years could have passed and by some coincidence, it is the same same season as when I left.

I frowned. A time keeping spell would be nice... It would require a reference point, say a enchanted stone that is left on the Plane in question. Then I would be able to have the spell use it as a reference point and tell me how much time had passed.

Blue mana should be used for such a spell, the question now would be how to do it.

As my raven flew, so did my thoughts.

The raven went in to land at the Stark camp and a guard rushed up as I dismissed the raven and saddle "My Lord. The King of The North left standing orders that he wished to see you as soon as you returned."

I stretched and yawned. Two days of flying, only landing to eat and sleep at night; I was hardly in the mood for anything but finding a bed, but I shook my head.

"Very well. Take me to him." I said before I followed the guard to the Stark command tent.

Robb Stark was already waiting by the time I arrived, "Winter," he started. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

I nodded. "Yes, I believe I did. How long was I gone? Where I was, time is not exactly like it is here."

He gave me a strange look. "How can time be different? You were gone a week."

I hmmed and nodded.

Assuming the trip through the Blind Eternities didn't take any time, that was a seven to one time compression. Not as bad as I feared at first, but still, insufficient data.

No, wait...five to one. I spent two days traveling.

"Well, Either way, I am back now. Any news from King's Landing?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Without the raven scouts, finding information have been slower." Robb answered and I nodded.

"I'll make sure the riders have a raven so they can have a new look. We should hold position until they do, though." I said and then turned to walk out. "I need rest, it was a long ride."

On my way to my tent I went to find one of the raven riders and summoned a raven and saddle for him before I walked to my tent.

I entered and looked around, eyeing the bed. The place looked exactly like I left it...and that bed looked mighty inviting right now.

I hesitated for a moment before I grimaced. I needed to push things forward. The sooner I summoned the Slayers, the sooner they could start training, getting used to riding horses and such.

I doubted that came as a part of the package.

Closing my eyes I stepped back and focused on the Slayer essence. White and Red...a good amount too. About a tenth of each land to one Slayer. In theory I could summon twenty in total, but I had different plans for that second red land.

Ten it would have to be then. The Angels would outnumber them, but hopefully the slayers' adaptation and skill would beat pure power once again.

I took a slow breath and channeled the mana precisely. Never having summoned a dual mana creature before I did not want to mess up, especially as I was summoning sophonts.

The Red and White mana flowed through the spell control matrix of the gathered essence and I forged it in my mind.

Ten seconds after I started I opened my eyes.

There were ten Slayers in my tent, looking around.

Then I realized something and quickly turned around before I got myself killed. I summoned ten Slayers.

Not ten 'Dressed' Slayers. The essence only includes the creature, not what it is wearing!

"Did you plan this?" A voice behind me and to the right asked and I quickly shook my head before another voice to the left added in "Well, he better not have! Summoner or not, I will kick his ass!"

"Well, I don't really mind that much," another voice added in before a fourth spoke up. "Well? Why are you still standing there!? Get us some clothes!"

I almost ran out of the tent.

The guards outside gave me a strange look as I froze and facepalmed. What kind of Planeswalker gets ordered around by his own damn summons?

As I heard a feminine laugh from inside the tent I sighed. The ones that wish to live, that's who. ..And Buffy better never hear about this. She would never let me live it down.

I turned to the guard. "Go get a seamstress and send her into my tent. She has some work to do there... tell her to let them pick their own styles" The order given, I wandered off to find myself somewhere else to sleep.

Something told me that my tent was no longer my tent.

One Slayer I could handle...Two...sure.

Ten?

Even Planeswalkers know when they are beaten. Maybe I should have gone for the thresher maw?

My cult is getting a bit disturbing.

Ok, more disturbing.

I was on my way to Robbs command tent to see what if any of the information the raven scouts found was useful. I saw more and more snowflake medallions and symbols stitched to tents. Sure, they don't bother me and I have not seen anyone bothering anyone else about it but still...

Glory wanted this?

Nutty damn deity.

On the way to the tent I spotted somebody I recognized. One of the Slayers, Darla. They each picked their own names.

This particular Slayer is blond, has shoulder length hair and wearing a some leather pants with some kind of cloth shirt. Despite the hair, she reminded me more of Faith than Buffy.
There was some complaining about the way they dressed, let alone that they were to fight, but after a couple of 'demonstration fights' things quieted down.

"Darla" I greeted her "How are you handling things?" I asked her as I reached her.

She blinked and then shrugged "Things are okish. Kind of wish you summoned us in a less shitty world though. This place kind sucks, you know?"

I shook my head "If I had a choice, I would not have needed to summon you and the others at all. To be frank, creating sophonts is kind of...disturbing."

Darla shrugged "Yeah, sure. But we are still here...and existing is better than not, even in this hellhole."

I frowned slightly and then nodded "So how are the others handling things? I haven't had a chance to talk to half of the girls so far."

Darla shrugged again "Things are Okish like I said. Some of the others are handling things a bit worse...it's the small things that are missed most I think. You better find a way to find some supplies..." before she shook her head "It's the attitude of the people here that is the worst. Like girls cant do anything."

Snorting I smiled slightly "I bet you're changing their minds about that."

She nodded "Yeah, we sure are shattering some preconceptions. Anna got jumped on the way back to the tent last night by three soldiers. They got a bit...grabby."

That got my attention "Is she ok? Who are they?"

Somebody actually had the pure stones to jump one of My Slayers!

Darla smiled slightly "Oh she is just fine. There were only three of them...and hopefully it got it through to the rest with similar ideas that thinking girls are toys is bad idea."

I hesitated for a moment "I still want to know who it was.."

She nodded "I dont know, actually. I would say check the medical tent for three guys with all their limbs broken."

Ouch.

Well, that's still better than they deserve for going after a Slayer.

"I think I might go have a look. They are hardly going anywhere. I'll talk to Anna after the meeting with The King." I said and Darla nodded.

"I'll tell her you wanted to see her." she answered before she continued "Is the fighting going to start soon?"

I hmmed and then shrugged "I'm about to find out. Stark should have the information now and I was just going to check."

I then frowned slightly "The offer is still open." I continued.

I offered the slayers the option to walk away. They would be given a pouch of silver and be allowed to go their own way. They would not be unsummoned or anything.

Not giving them the choice just because they are summons would be hypocritical. They are sophonts, they have the right to chose.

Darla shook her head and crossed her arms "We talked it over, we are with you. Not only is it the right thing to do, but also...if you get yourself killed, we go with you."

Nodding I smiled slightly "Thanks." and then turned "I should get going."

Darla nodded "Ok, let us know if things are about to get real bad. I'll go tell Anna you wish to see if she is ok."

A few minutes later I entered the command tent while making a mental note to go check the medical tent later.

While they have been punished already, there was some putting the fear of god into them to do. That rep my cult has been putting out has to be good for something.

"Stark. Any news?" I asked as I spotted The King of The North standing by the table, reading a note.

Robb turned and then nodded "Yes...the latest scout reported that the Baratheon army have left King's Landing. They are marching north. No word of those 'Angels'."

I slowly nodded "They are coming for us. Let's find a place where they can find us. If they are willing to let us pick the place of battle, how about we let them. What's the ETA?"

Stark blinked but have gotten used to my way of speaking by now "About a week and a half. I have some ideas for positions for us to take..." and turned to the map as I moved to join him.

Well, you can hardly count on your enemies being idiots.

We had set up on a nice hill that would have given perfect lines of fire in all directions. That's when the raven scouts reported Mary's army stopped it's advance about half a day of marching away.

Neither Robb or I...or any of his Lords knew exactly what they were up to. Our best guess was that that they didn't know what we had or why we picked this position, but they didn't want us to pick the site of battle.

Despite out airborne scouts, we didn't know what THEY had planned either. You can only see so much from high up, even with the simple optics I manufactured with my omni-tool. Best they were able to see, It was a regular army. I ordered the guns kept under cover at all times just in case somebody in the enemy camp have a brain...which they should...and have the Angels to fly and check us out.

The guards were told to keep a eye on the skies, but they didn't see anything...which meant exactly dick. A human body at a thousand meter into the skies isn't exactly easy to spot.

The armies spent a day or two just sitting in our respective spots and waited to see who would blink first.

We did.

"Well, we could hardly sit on that hill until winter." Robb commented as we rode with the army towards the field of battle.

It was thankfully a actual field, if less perfect than where we were.

I shrugged "True. Even with ravens bringing in supplies, it would have cut off our supply lines easier than we would have been able to harass theirs."

He nodded as we rode onto a small hill, only a couple of meters of elevation, but would give us a bit of overview as the army marched around it, moving into position. Musketeers, Pikemen and cavalry.

Just because we are basically immune to cavalry, didn't mean they were.

I glanced back "Holding up ok?" I asked the Slayers riding behind us. The closest girl, a tiny redhead...seriously, she was like a foot shorter than Buffy slid of her horse "I hate these things." and rubbed her rear.

The rest laughed and followed her example, dismounting as I shook my head "Better get used to it, Karla. I have yet to find a way to bring anyone else between Planes. Unless you invent the internal combustion engine..."

"Railway at least." A brunette, the latest of the girls said as she stretched.

"If you can find that much iron, Hannah; go for it." I told her and turned back forward, just able to see the enemy army arriving at the other end of the field.

Honestly, this kind of warfare is so odd for somebody from the 'Modern world'. Armies lining up and then basically running at each other screaming instead of tanks, air support and special forces raids.

But even muskets where not very good for that kind of warfare...and this was going to be them bringing a sword to a gunfight.

I raised my cheap optics and took a good look. The distance was long and the optics bad, but I could just make out somebody in white riding across the front of the forces, likely giving some kind of inspiring speech about 'Demons' or something like it if I knew her right.

I handed the optics over to Robb to let him have a look as I dismounted and walked over to the stretching and warming up Slayers.

"Are you ready for this?" I asked them as they where getting ready.

Darla stood up straight and nodded, adjusting her chainmail. Like normal, Slayers prioritized speed over armor with their inherent resistance to blunt force trauma and ability to heal...but that didn't mean they were stupid.

They were strong enough that chainmail didn't slow them down and it did really help against slashing weapons, so they wore it.

"We are ready. I don't like the idea of killing humans any more than you do...but like you said before, it is a matter of survival. They want us dead so we just have to kill them right back."

I nodded "But remember this, you are not here to fight humans, leave that for the humans. You are here to counter Mary's tricks." as I started to channel my green mana, conjuring weapons according to their preferences. All of them of Asgardian alloys; infinitely superior to anything else on the field of battle.

They each got to pick what they felt the most comfortable with...from a pair of daggers to a spear. Each of them also had a pistol version of the musket. Basically a smaller mechanism with a pistol handle and a very short barrel.

One shot and drop, but it should help.

Honestly, using Giant Growth on them would have been a better use of the mana, but they absolutely nixed that idea.

Their clothes would not have grown with them...so it was kind of understandable they were hesitant.

It was not worth pushing for it.

When the last one was armed I returned to my mount next to The King and he glanced at me "Are you sure about this? They outnumber us..."

I climbed back into my saddle and nodded as the Slayers lined up in front of us, facing the battle.

"As sure as I can be. If they use the same tactic as Tywin described, it should work."

As a horn sounded on the other end of the field their cavalry started out towards the flanks, trying to get around ours in a classic maneuver. Robb slowly nodded and signaled the man riding next to him.

Our own cavalry moved to meet them as I sighed.

Mary's infantry started marching and I sighed as something came to mind.

"Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred. "

Robb looked at me and I shook my head "Just a piece of a poem from my world. Seemed...fitting." I turned to the man doing the signaling with his horn.

I was the one that brought them here. I should give the order. My responsibility.

"Signal the men. Fire by ranks."

It was time for the dying to start.

The first volley thundered across the field. At that range there were lots of misses...but the first rank of Mary's army still reacted like somebody took a scythe to it.

Five seconds later the next rank switched places with the first and they fired again.
The entire charge just stopped.

At the back of the hostile force there were a bright shining light and the enemy gathered themselves back up and continued their charge.

At first I thought it was some kind of control spell...and it might have been, but then the third volley hammered into the front line and only a few men fell.

The fourth volley cut deep and a thousand men fell.
She used some kind of shield, but she clearly underestimated the pure power behind two thousand musket balls...that it lasted a entire volley by itself was impressive. She could not have that much left after doing a shield like that.
They were now close enough for the screaming to be heard clearly.

As shapes rose into the air at the back of the army, armor and weapons shining bright in the sun as white wings spread, I slowly nodded.
"Ready, Girls?" I asked and looked down at them.
There was some hesitation but they all answered with nods or in other ways to the affirmative.

I took a slow breath and closed my eyes as the sixth volley thundered and pulled at my Blue mana and my remaining Red land.

I had only just finished this spell half a week ago. My first real enchantment that was not just 'pump green into the target with the intent for strength and size.'

Red for the shape matrix, Blue for control and stability. Red for power and fire.
The mana swirled around my arms as I open my eyes, my eyes blazing of blue fire as I spread my arms. I could hear Stark gasp and his horse almost panic, mine keeping under control as it was a summon.
The red and blue fire fade away slowly and I smiled.
It worked.

When I payed attention to the Angels again they were halfway across the field and had already started their dive towards my forces.
I nodded slowly "Girls...go kick some arse."

As one the Slayers sprouted wings of fire, the inner parts glowing of blue and cooling to red towards the edges. They slowly flapped their wings, rising into the air before accelerating towards the angels to meet them in their own element.

Part of the spell was instinctive control...not only over the flying and wings, but also over the fire they are made off. They only burn what the enchanted creature wants them to.
The blazing fire of their wings stood out against the sky as they crashed into the group of angels. They were outnumbered two to one.
It was not even remotely fair.

She should have summoned more angels.

As the eight volley thundered across the field, heavy lead smashing into meat, ending lives and killing men the battle rages in the skies, Wings of White and Wings of Fire dove, crashed and burned.
Bodies fell. First one, then two, then ten.
In the end there were seven beings still flying, all with wings of fire.

I sighed and clenched my hand at my side as I felt my Red, White, Blue and Red start to recharge slowly. I lost three slayers...if they were only hurt I would have been able to heal them and I would not have started to recharge.
Damn.
At the sight of my own Angels Mary's magics was not enough to keep her army from breaking.
As the ninth volley smashed into their ranks they broke and ran for their lives.

I channeled my Blue and Red again, spreading my own wings of fire as I sent a mental command to the Slayers to find Mary.

I looked over at Robb and then nodded as I dismissed my horse, slowly beating my wings to stay in the air "I'm going to end this." I told him before I took to the air, following my Slayers as they started to search for a woman in white.

We found her and four knights escaping by horseback a couple of kilometers from the battle. She must be out of mana as she was not flying.

The slayers dove down, wings burning men to ash as I landed in Marys path as she spurred on her horse, pulling my Carnifex.
She didn't move to turn so I shot it.

Honestly, it looked like a good horse and it didn't deserve that, but I needed to stop this. Now.
I could not allow this to happen again...there had already been too much dying.

The large animal hit the ground hard as the supersonic metal sliver pierced its heart, it's rider being thrown off, rolling on the forest path, her white robes turning into a mess.

I took aim at her as she struggled back onto her feet, The Slayers keeping back, circling in the skies and keeping guard.

"Hello, Mary." I said as I stared at her. Her robes had ripped and her hair was a mess. She had a wound at her right arm that quickly stopped bleeding.

She panted and watched me with wide eyes "Winter...you did this...you killed all those men...what foul magic...Why...why are you doing this?"

I shook my head "I did not kill them. You did...you are the one that forced this, Mary. I wanted none of it."
"I'm trying to save these people!" she yelled as she stood up straight "My world used to be like this! Then the demons came! Evil attracts them! Please..." she said as she started to grow a bit quieter "Please...you can still stop. You can redeem yourself. Reject the foul magics...reject your demon masters. You can join the side of the Light...You can still join me. Please...stop this."

At the end of her small speech she was almost pleading with me to join her. She simply could not see that she might be the one at fault.

I looked at her. She was unarmed and dirty. She was most likely almost completely drained of mana.
She was harmless...for now.

For now.

So many deaths for nothing.

I pulled the trigger.
