That was a cute little scene. Shame it was cut. Establishing Valkyrie and her friendship with Carol before she showed up later to pick up the refugees would have been useful.

A lot of people on SB were clutching their pearls about Valkyrie mistaking Kamala as Carol's wife, meaning Disney was promoting or joking about underaged marriage. Of course, I don't know if they heard Kamala introduce herself as "Mrs. Marvel", which does a lot to explain the mixup.

For those not in the know, this series is an inverse CinemaSins. He does a great job distilling the appeal of the movie, and I still maintain that it didn't 'deserve' the poor box office performance, for whatever that means in this context.
