Keep the moon. We want to make sure that Vegeta can show off a controlled Oozoru form, so we know that the form is controllable.

It's what lets Broly tank multiple Super Saiyans at the same time. We want that bullshit for stomping the Super and GT foes. And I will accept nothing less than stomping everything until Berrus shows up, including Buu.

This is extremely important. We need this to train ourselves in things like Buster Shell without needing to use the Legend form, or even Green Aura. Even if we don't need it, it's still going to make it easier to make our own, new, techniques based on the stuff we get out of the Legend form.

I just tried out the new Reader Mode which turns the thread into a story posts only one my thanks to whoever came up with the idea and implemented it;)

More cuz we have emotional scenes with him from tsun to dere. The change is noticeable when he hugs trunks after never having done so before and sacrifices himself for his family.

Goku is affectionate with his family. Except the constant crisis and the need to keep improving himself makes him an absentee dad, even then when Gohan was young he didnt really focus on training him like he wanted cuz Chi-Chi convinced him otherwise and that iwas for the best yada-yada.

Then he died for Gohan and all that.

Also that many of the troubles that beset earth was directly or indirectly because of him except for Buu, and once Gohan got going Goku was basically grooming him to take his place to protect earth.

Its just not as overt as Vegeta and his absent status is noticeable but Goku isnt a completely horrible father.

And really when many of the crisis had to be solved by him and his very instinct drives him to improve himself, one couldnt totally fault him for wanting to be strong enough.

Ok...Kind of a reverse of what you implied earlier. So being a Saiyan doesn't mean anything and Goku can be a good father.

So bring Goku home to be good father yes? Being beaten up by his kids would probably be better training anyway. Gohan can help with Super Saiyan.

Plus zankai. Being beaten up by Gohan and Gossard would definitely be good for his power level. Maybe not Gossard though. But yeah, his power level will spike ridiculously if he gets beaten up by Gohan and Gossard.
 
And another source of fighting knowledge, especially what he learned from King Kai, is always valuable.

Its that he can be a good father in-spite of his instincts. For Saiyans training together and challenging each other and being aloof is normal.

But also understanding that he´s both from that proud warrior race and a martial artist, working to improve himself always is the name of the game.

More adventures means more Goku abilities that he learns from whatever happens! think of it as when he learned instant movement and the like!

Uh, yea. That's why I want him home so he can be a good dad despite his instincts. It's not like I'm saying come home and Not train to be the strongest ever.

It can be a family bonding experience.

Pretty sure adventures in outworld would be stuff like the otherworld tournament. Or Janemba.

And, well. There weren't that many interesting techniques there that he could learn.

Huh, you know. I just realized that there there's literally zero reason for Vegeta and Nappa to come to earth. We don't have dragon balls anymore because Piccolo ate Kami

Considering the Power Levels on Earth, Raditz should take one look at it, go 'NOPE' and run back to Vegeta and Frieza and let them know what's going on.

The canon reason doesn't work, because there aren't any Kami Dragonballs.
There ARE however the Nameless Dragonballs that are all on Earth.
And also strong fighters that can kick Raditz' ass with a Power Level higher than 22,000 (the limit of Raditz' Scouter), so either potential recruits or enemies that need dealing with.

Oh god I just realized that Gossard is not Abridged Vegeta but Mr.Popo he is going to become one of the most powerful things in DragonBall and he could do the sadistic monster from the blackest Depth's of Hell act. Also I can see him establishing the pecking order.

But Dumplin is Mr Popo, and I'm not nearly confident enough in the fact/fiction barrier to stop him enacting revenge.
Especially with Bulma and Family doing Things to dice.

Hmm, would he care? Only reason they came to earth was to recruit Goku because he was a fellow sayain that they could get help from. If they don't think Goku is alive. Then they'll avoid the planet since they don't have any shared history to work with. And I doubt they care about freeza's empire to do a recruiting or extermination run unless ordered.

On the other hand, that could mean we do Android, Majin buu, and Movie arcs first and meet freeza and the empire later when they start encroaching on earth.

1. The people kicked Raditz ass would be Goku, Gohan and Gossard, because he is looking for the strongest being on the planet.
2. Even if he fights a Z-Fighter, if he is asking about tailled people...
3. You don't think recruiting the next Zarbon or an entire Ginyu Force would help with the hidden rebellion? It might not be Vegeta's plan but Nappa could definitely see the potential in making first contact and fostering a double agent in Frieza's organization
