Hell yeah. If we can rope L'nessa in then we're 4/5ths of the way to a perfect Hearth. It's a shame that Amiti is an Air Aspect, really.
I could write Sola as a Fire Aspect with some like, real but relatively minor adjustments, but I don't think I could write Amiti as one. Air is really perfect for her. I think a Wood version would work, but she'd come at her necromancy scholarship from a slightly different angle.

Amiti must be the life of the party, in her own way.

Oh, that was by no means a serious complaint or issue, I was just being symmetry-brained. Though if Sola were Fire Aspected then it would be perfect...

In the realm of pure speculation, I could also see Amiti as a Water Aspect, I think, mostly due to her very straightforward demeanor masking hidden depths.

While this may be a bad idea with foresight, to Ambraea now it seems like a good idea. Obviously the Iselsi connection is a negative even now, but what are we to do, never accept anyone into the Hearth because of it? Ambraea knows Iselsi is controlled by the Empress, and such removing her from the expectations of House Iselsi is in the Boons she can grant -if suitability impressed, but Ambraea is not one who thinks of failure. She of course doesn't know (and doesn't believe) that the Empress is gone for good, Iselsi is off the reigns, and Tepet are soon to be a spend force.

And it helps her stick by her friends. Why not do that?

I'm really not sure where the opposed vote is coming from, Sola would be a valuable contribution and she needs it, needs us, now. The fact that we'll have to engage the Iselsi reveal doesn't change that, nor does it change that we REALLY will be needing more allies going forward, as many as we can get.

I'm not really sure who would fill out our hearth if not Sola, L'nessa, and Amiti. Maybe we could recruit Deizil, but we're not really close to him like the others.

Oh nice, new update just as I finish catching up again. Anyways, the choice is clear for me:

The fact that we're going to be hiding secrets from her is unfortunate, but the advantages outweigh that concern.

She doesn't even know the secret of our gf's family, she has no business being linked so intimately to us.

Given the Sun, Moon, and Star title as well as the whole confusion over the caste of the Anathema, I am wondering whether they are either chasing a Lunar who is trying to mislead the hunters as to what they are after or one of their party is a lunar.

Really, I can think of one specific reason to be unsure about the Anathema's caste: they're both right.

You can imagine how much fun that would be to discover.

he would also be so insufferable about it. the smugness.

the two who come in at the end are singular grace and her abrasive companion from the restaurant scene. Singular Grace, formerly known as Pheony is a lunar exalt, her companion maybe a star exalt, or it maybe that a star exalt is going to interfere in the capture of the solar.

if the solar has made it this far they have not done so without exerting themselves once or twice, which would very recognizable demonstrate the mark of a solar exalt, so they are certain to be one.

I'm not entirely convinced Maia would have ever told Ambraea and ultimately I do rather like the idea of more than just Maia and Ambraea against the world. someone being brought in who doesn't know is inevitable. loose lips sink ships. how good a job do you think Amiti would do at keeping the secret?

Sometimes, practical concerns trump nonsensical standards of forthrightness. this is one of them.
Singular Grace, formerly Demure Peony, is a Sidereal Exalt, specifically a Serenity Caste, chosen by Venus. Her becoming a Lunar Anathema would have made for a very different story.
ahh. my bad. so there are likely hidden exalts then. interesting. plenty of glory to share then.

I acknowledge that Maia's secrets may cause some issues, but they are outweighed by the fact that I like Sola and want to see more of her.

That is what I would thin but outside of there being multiple exalted we have a lack of clear identification which could be a case of reports coming in from people who lack familiarity with exalted and so could be fooled. It isn't even a bad strategy if you know the presence of Anathema becoming known in a given because they aren't sure exactly what to be on guard for.

So glad to see a Sola sweep! So what if there's more downsides then upsides, following your hearth mates into hell is the point.

The Maia drama is a little more serious, but if we obsessed over that we wouldn't be taking any hearth mates at all. Just adds a little more spicy drama to the story.
