12 hours and not a single real comment on Post 15, nor a vote of any sort....

[X] Look to the guy on the ground in front of you, attempting to do something possible lethal and imploding his head from the inside.

...So someone informed me the problem may be that I didn't give any actual votes, because I viewed combat plans as a thing the group should make, not the QM.

But I'm nothing if not flexible.

Possible plans:
Plan 1:
[]Grab the bloodied man next to you, and use him as a shield as you walk towards the enemy ahead of you.
-[]Ready another ball of compressed air, for use on the enemy when they come into sight. Always good to have an attack ready.
--[]Pay attention to your surroundings, it'd be bad to get blindsided again.
---[]Be ready to shove it in your shield if he fights back, making sure he knows about it.
---------
Plan 2:
[]Execute the man next to you, one less target to worry about.
-[]Focus on possible areas the lone enemy could be, that's three, and you were only told three, no reason to waste your senses on others.
--[]No use hiding, charge a ball and sprint at the enemy zig zag. If your perception holds up, you'll find out where he is the next time he fires.
---------
Plan 3:
[]Scavenge the man next to you for his gun.
-[]Execute the man
--[]Open fire at the enemy. The area he's in is quite Narrow, with enough bullets you can't miss every time.
---------
Plan 4:
[]Ask the book for a new skill, it's risky but it might have something perfect for the situation.
---------
Please note, two other plans have already been given from players.

[X] Look for cover, anything to get down and out of the fire.

Ah, you probably should have put:

[] Write In

at the bottom of the post. Otherwise we kind of assume you'll just go on.

I did, []write-in is at the bottom of Post 15.
There's nothing at the bottom of the Omake, because last time someone legit voted on the Omake.

[X]Wait, surely only those meant to die will. And you were told 3.
---
"Maybe I will, book." Trying to get you to kill those not meant to die, this book might just not be right in the pages.

And you stare on, waiting as the bullets fly through you without harm, bouncing off the outlines of the out of place rocks.
You wonder, which world is real? This weird blue one, or the one in front of you? Does it even matter? Out of nowhere something flies by from above and blood splatters, followed by a thud. You turn around, one of the attackers is down, and in the area around him changes from blue to dark red. His corpse melts slowly, a dark outline replacing it. Another silent object flies by and an attacker falls. The same phenomena occurs, and they both get up, as if in sync. The outline shifts, becoming solid before regaining the original shape and color of the dead.

And they stare, both of them, as if unsure what they're looking at. You don't look that strange, do you? "Don't just stand there staring, kill them!"
Shit, right, you push your hand forward and focus the energy into your hand like before. Before it finishes, they both start running. Weird, given they were the attackers you assumed they'd fight instead of run. Regardless, as the ball is finished, you fire it off at them.
Don't Miss: 19-15=4 Positive
You hit the left one dead on. The compressed winds explode outwards forcing the one on the right to the wall, and apparently shredding the target quite a bit in the process. If the red mist now covering the entire area over there and wet moving sounds are to be believed. How can you even hear that from here? You shouldn't be able to even-
Aware: 85+19-60=44 Positive
A stream of bullets comes firing out from the mist, you're not sure how you can see them so clearly or why they're so slow, but they are. It's almost like-Shit, one must have died while you were paying attention to the enemies, you can clearly feel it behind you bright as day. What to do, with this much time to think you'd believe yourself a machine. Crap, crap, crap, got it!
Reaction Time: 32+12-70=-26 Negative
You dodge a stab at your back from a blade, grab his arm, and then position him in front of you, causing a gore of red to drench your hands and body. Or at-least that's what you tried to do, you do indeed manage to dodge the blade, but you're not quite fast enough to use him as a human shield, the two of you taking hits equally. 'Shit!' It's absurdly hot, you're not even sure it's painful, just hot. What you do know is that it's soon replaced with an empty feeling as you fall to your knees with your now fiercely bleeding enemy.

This isn't how you pictured this going, you're Death, and while you'd been told you could die, it hadn't hit in till now just how dangerous this was.

But you can't give up, no, it's impossible to survive if you give up. You have to have a plan. You're pretty sure you got the one guy, that thought process reassured when you feel an energy flood into your veins. A different kind though, unusable as is. Unimportant, given the situation you're in.

So one of them is in firing condition, the guy on the ground next to you is still alive. He's not in fighting condition, but can you risk leaving him alone?

Just in case anyone was oddly confused, THIS was my post.
I apologize if anyone thought the Omake was, and I'll try to find better ways to label them in the future to reduce confusion.

As there are only 3 votes, I obviously can't close the voting now as I had planned.
So I guess I'll postpone it.

This was basically the plan I was going to suggest...then i didn't read your reply to my question regarding our strength and got distracted by the omake. My bad.

I know, that's why I suggested it. You think I'd give something that detailed if you hadn't already thought of it?
Hahahaha! Rich, so rich.

Anyway, it's my fault for not thinking to quote or tag you.
Glad the Omake was good enough to distract you, one of my main efforts here in this quest is to improve my abysmal writing.

Your writing really isn't that bad, while I have seen better, I have also seen much, much, worse. At the very worst, I would call your writing average, you are firmly on the good writer side of the scale of Awesome to Horrible writing.

As a Critic I have as well seen much, much worse things.
I've seen things so bad I'm not sure I'm legally allowed to talk about them.

But as a critic, I can see all the flawed, horrible things about my writing that just makes me cringe.
---
I focus too much on hair and eyes when giving description. Implying I have a hard time describing things in anything but raw terms. Which is backed up by the fact that virtually nothing has any real description.
My vocabulary is expansive and used needlessly.
I rarely use any of that vocabulary in dialogue, when it would really work much better.
The characters sound like they're reading their lines, which just isn't great for life.
The typos are terrible but as they're caused by this keyboard, I ignore those.
I do far too much tell, not enough show.
I focus far too much on random crap to slow the pace down, so it doesn't feel rushed. Which just makes it feel rushed.
---
I mean really, it's a mess. And none of the tricks I give other people that work for them, appear to work for me at all...

That's 6 out of the normal 10.
Wondering whether I should take it as is, or wait for 10.
If this was a worthless vote I'd take it as is without question given the onesidedness of the tally.
But this is rather important, you could die here.

The living men around were still coated in blue, signifying they were still alive. If your quota was to be believed, they'd all survive. Yet they weren't running, they were still fighting. You'd have expected the sniper to have taken out the rest of the attackers by now, but no such progress had been made. It was actually pretty distracting, but not enough to make you forget your situation.

On the ground next to you was the bloodied man who tried to stab you, a rage about it welling up. The attackers ran, but the defender attacked? It just doesn't make any damn sense!

You grab him and pull him up in front of you. He's actually pretty light given he's being held a little off the ground by one hand. You're pretty sure you can't run like this, but walk? Easy. So you do, you walk towards the remaining enemy's last known location, and charge up another ball in your left hand. At the sound of it his form starts to struggle, and you shout into his ear. "If you fight against me I will set this off inside you!" a nod of understanding occurs. You're not sure why he agreed so easily, he's going to die either way...

As you walk forward you keep your senses around you, making sure you're not snuck up on again. And you're not, easily making it quite a distance before an object flies through the air towards you. You're not sure what it is, so you pull your shield in front of it, blocking your vision directly in front of you.

It explodes, but luckily for your shield, the area is filled with smoke instead of shrapnel. Unluckily for you however, you're suddenly tackled to the ground, the harsh and rocky floor digging into your back and shredding skin. Interestingly enough, your cloak feels perfectly fine. Your eyes focus for just a second, long enough to notice the man who got away driving a knife towards your face. The blade coming at you ever so slowly for some reason, just like before. The ball is still in your hand somehow, and you realize you have two options.

HP 59.68(250 Max)(1830 Seconds until full health)
Soul Power 240(340 Max)(17.85 Seconds until full)
Soul Power Bank 3170(How much you can use per rest period)(3400 Max)

[]Try to intercept the knife with the ball.
[]or shoot it off in his face, in an attempt to be faster than the knife.

[X] Shoot it into his chest, in an attempt to be faster than the knife and redirect his momentum.

Normally I'd go for the knife...but we're basically holding an explosion in our hand. The guy's momentum is not going to be much of a problem if we blow him up.

Also, I'd like to point out, blowing the knife away from that distance may be the less fatal of the two options. The lethality of an explosion comes not from the fire, but from the concussive force and shrapnel. And if the ball of flames lands a hit on the enemy, it'll almost definitely hit us as well. Considering we're down to less than a quarter of our initial health, it would be wisest to aim for the knife instead.

Newtons Law of physics, the first, I believe, is that an object or force in motion will most likely stay in motion until an outside force of equal or greater mass stops it. In this instance the knife is of lesser mass, so a good majority of force is likely to be expelled in the outward direction it's being shot instead of blown back in our own face.

Or at least that's how I'm imagining this to go.

Edit: Regardless of all that, there's still predicting whether or not the energy of the blast will have any effect on us, or if that energy is too unstable for immunity.
