The Dragon Ascendant: NO SV: Welcome To Another Viserys Targaryen Quest (A Ck2 Quest)

I was counting on it... The main reason why I didn't include Dany as our Shadow Councilor is because Ned will probably leave us, by his own initiative and with our blessing, in a couple of years... And then we can have Dany as our official Master of Laws, once we have consolidated our powers enough that no one beat an eye to having a woman in a position of authority
When we're done with our legal… political…

Judicial and societal reforms.

We might need a break.

Also: for you to chew on.

D100 => 94 #Viserys And the Mistake of having a 4 way.

Hm… looks like v has more kids then he realized.

But belive me I am planning for a lot stuff.

Including an interconnected web of diplomatic interactions between Essos.

OK, how many children?

And do we have any way of knowing this? Or do the mother's have any way of contacting us?

Because since those girls we slept with were slaves, I would rather avoid having our children born into slavery...
Two and I will say nothing else for a simple reason.

My plans require secrecy

  • [X] Plan Rise of the Dragons
-[X] Areas of the Dornish Marches will be removed from the jurisdiction of the Reach and added to Dorne and/or the Stormlands.
-[X] A significant amount of ships and material will be taken from each of the defeated Great Houses (Royal Fleet & Red Keep Garrison become Full Strength)
-[X] All Debts from the Hostile Great Houses will be forgiven, and the Kingdom of Westeros will only have allied Debts to pay, and foreign creditors.
-[X] The hostages Robert took from across the Seven Kingdoms will remain in King's Landing for one year, to give the new King an opportunity to get to know the future lords of the realm
--[X] Permit the hostages' guardians to appoint a sworn sword to each hostage
-[X] Master of Laws (Diplomacy Advisor)
    --[X] Eddard Stark (Diplomacy 17)
-[X] Master of Coin (Stewardship Advisor)
    --[X] Mace Tyrell (Stewardship 10)
    --[X] Appoint a Shadow Councilor
    ---[X] Olenna Tyrell (Stewardship 18)
-[X] Master of Whispers (Intrigue Advisor)
    --[X] Oberyn Martell (Intrigue 17)
    -[X] Hand of the King
    --[X]Jaime Lannister.
    -[X] Master of Ships
    --[X] Rodrik Harlaw
    -[X] the Master of War
    --[X] Stannis Baratheon
-[X] Lord Commander of the City Watch (not a Small Council position, but important nevertheless)
--[X] Jacelyn Bywater is an officer in the goldcloaks, who served with distinction (but not infamy or cruelty) during the Kraken's Folly. Losing a hand in the rebellion, he was knighted for his troubles and has since served ably in the City Watch, yet has not advanced through the ranks nor gained loyalty from many goldcloaks. Privately, you confirm that this is because he is not on board with extortionate bribery or wanton cruelty, and because Commander Slynt rather openly despises him.
-[X] Master-at-Arms of the Red Keep (not a Small Council seat, but a position of prestige and importance)
--[X] Bonifer Hasty is a somewhat older knight of the Stormlands, who apparently was once close with your mother, and more recently did not involve himself in the war, except to protect smallfolk from predation from either side. Appointing him would be seen as a move of reconciliation towards Stormlanders not named Connington or Baratheon, would please the Faithful, and he'd possibly be someone to talk to about your mother.
-[X] The King's Justice (not a Small Council seat, but a position of some prestige and dignity)
--[X] Sandor Clegane remained in the city, apparently, and has no qualms about killing people he's told to. Considering who may be in the Black Cells in the near future, he would probably jump at the opportunity.
    [X] The Path of Ashes
-[X] Areas of the Dornish Marches will be removed from the jurisdiction of the Reach and added to Dorne and/or the Stormlands.

    -[X] the Master of War
    --[X] Stannis Baratheon
-[X] Lord Commander of the City Watch (not a Small Council position, but important nevertheless)
--[X] Davos Seaworth would be an unconventional choice, to say the least. A native of King's Landing, he is familiar with both sides of the law here, and is a loyal lieutenant of Stannis Baratheon. Older than the other options, he is still quite competent at management from what you can tell, and anyone who has spent as long as him on the seas has to be able to swing a sword properly.
-[X] Master-at-Arms of the Red Keep (not a Small Council seat, but a position of prestige and importance)
--[X] Jory Cassel is the nephew of Ned Stark's master-at-arms, and has more or less been trained for the role since he was ten. While neither a knight nor a man of the Faith, he served you and Lord Stark well during the war, and unlike Kingsguard positions this is not a life appointment, so he could return home when he wished.

Fair enough...

But I am also worried about the Red God Cultists, with the whole Blood of the King shit those poor babies may end up roasted
When we're done with our legal… political…

Judicial and societal reforms.

We might need a break.

Dammit, now I am tempted to put Dany as a Shadow Councilor... I am worried that the poor Ned will end up completely losing it because of all the stress, and he ends up in Winterfell with a serious PTSD triggered when he has to face any legal form.

The King of Westeros: Viserys Targaryen

Viserys III Targaryen, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, King of All Westeros, and Shield of His People
(formerly) Valarr Vaeltigar, Adventure Capitalist

Fire and Blood

Description
Viserys III Targaryen is a strikingly beautiful young man of Old Valyria with milk-pale skin, silver hair and lilac eyes. A gifted charmer and a master of intrigues, Viserys has grown a great deal from his afraid, angry and easily agitated younger self. He has had to survive on wit and willpower, and this has shaped him into the King he is today. The ghosts of his father and brother are never far from his mind, and while he isn't afraid to evoke their imagery, he is deeply cautious of their infamy and bloodstained footsteps. He is a devoted brother, a caring uncle, and a true friend to those who make it close enough to be counted as such. While he will never be the warrior that the last king was, nor the poet his brother was or sister is, he is a skilled swordsman and a capable speaker. His true joys are his family, his friends, and when a plan comes together.

Please note, that Viserys is Paranoid, and Traumatized, and the pacts are gone.

There is a reason for that.

And one I will be very happy to reveal if you delve down that path.

Also, calling the vote in 4 hours.

I might be insane for writing a conversation for every... single person we hire.

But hey. At least Pycelle died.

What pacts are you speaking of?
@Vocalist and @Marlowe310811 used something called pacts to represent the power that all the peoples of Planetos have in terms of magical power.

it's a great tool of world building... and it was amazing, but I do not want to use.

I prefer a different method of magical power.

Something far more akin to... a favorite book series I love to read and rip off from whenever I can.

Jesus Christ, I forgot how overpowered we are in this Verse. Even with all the debuffs.

Then again, the Threats we will be facing will likely be scaled to match...
Or you know... we won't have to deal with too much.

For awhile.

Hell we might even get a chance to go on with the Kids becoming actual cherecters.

So a quick question?

Would you be mad that, after this update, I post your realms fiances?

Because other sheets will be coming our way, but I really want to get the fiances sorted before we really go balls deep.

How did Viserys get that swole? I really don't know. I mean I read the first quest, and all through the whole thing. Jaime is strong! Viserys is the punk kid on the ride of a lifetime, and looks like a twig, right?

Finances, or wifus? I'm okay with whichever. So go ahead and post.

That was before Jaime trained his ass to become a badass, and Viserys was a late bloomer.

The Armor he wears, Valryian Steel that is magical, also helps give the image of Badassery and swoleness.

Well, after the update.

(Jesus christ I wrote over 4k words in almost two hours, holy fuck.)

@Magoose Just to be sure, if we would want to change one of our advisors after a while are we going to have any problem?
I was thinking of letting Ned go after a while

And just to be sure, would Ned have any problem having Dany as her Shadow?

@Magoose Just to be sure, if we would want to change one of our advisors after a while are we going to have any problem?
Depends on the Advisors.

Ned would leave in a heartbeat as long as you have a replacement all lined up and they meet his standerds.

Mace?

Not a chance in hell, you'd have to arrest him for some pretty serious crimes for him to give up being in his position
And just to be sure, would Ned have any problem having Dany as her Shadow?
Nope.
