The Dragon Ascendant: NO SV: Welcome To Another Viserys Targaryen Quest (A Ck2 Quest)

I'm looking at eggs quote and the general disposition of the city and I'm thinking assassins and ghosts,
Well you have one.

But Ghosts don't really haunt anyone but Viserys in this world, so there is more likely going to be more... gothic in nature.

After all, remember that Summerhall is haunted.

And that shit is effecting every single place in Westeros.
we're already interjecting in a power struggle (via realty legal scuffles) so whatever you throw at us, I want to deal with it quickly and move on to more pertinent matters,
Well at least it can't get any worse...

Can it?:V
on Moore, he seems interesting with his "death of hope", I think in later turns I'd like to poke around in his head and see what he really thinks about things (and what heartstrings you can pull).
all I will say is this:

Moore is a damn, and I mean a damn, powerful magical person.

You may not know it yet in the quest, but I rolled for all the guard's magical aptitude...

He was the highest one, and the second highest is Barry the Fucking Bold.

Hell the lowest was Asher, and that's just because he was... well not magically inclined in WEsteros. And he's a side kick to Beshka's adventures.

I knew Barry was going to be a beast no matter what, that man can chew threw elite warriors like nobodies business, so him getting magic is just icing on that very beautiful cake. Moore is an unknown element for me, like I know he's one of the better kingsguard, though I'm sure others in the thread know more about him, but from what I gather it's a damn good thing he's a loyal(?) kingsguard. Either way I'm interested in where that leads eventually.

[X] Plan: Dragon and Wolf
-[X]Jon Snow: You looked at the young man and ponder for a moment, what he wants to do. Then he gives you an answer. "Your Grace, do you believe in Destiny?"
-[X]Sansa Stark: She was a bit unaware that you were following her, but you saw her with a dashing young rouge. Who's shatter point was not like Mandons… No His was something worse. It was not the shape of a human. But a monster.
-[X]Hold Court immediately: You will put an end to this madness right now. And you will make sure that whoever is truly worthy of this city, and its lands will host it. Or you could force them to accept one another and solve nothing.

If jon is having prophetic thoughts, we need to hear them. We also have to get sansa away from the monster, if my common sense is right, he's connected to what's happening here.

Your Plan lacks the Action of what to do in the City.

After, why would he wait when his biggest competitors lost their advantage?
Well after the Dance, he was busy doing things that would quietly make the Targs Weaker. From Kidnapping Viserys during the Dance to force him onto a Lysini Bastard daughter that he had adopted and trained for this, which allowed Aegon the 4th to be such a shitty motherfucker.

Was one of the backers for the Golden Company and was instrumental in numerous Blackfyere rebellions, and how they managed to remain relevant despite being insanely unlucky every time.

He then was instrumental in the Defiance of Duskendale and was the reason Aerys lost his mind, though he did it via magic and proxy, as he did not wish to reveal himself before every single one of the Targaryens were dead.

And if it weren't for Rhaella being one of the toughest women alive and somehow surviving several assassination attempts before Dany was born... Crowning Viserys and making sure the boy had the will to journey on his own protecting Dany.

Wow, all that work to undermine his competition shows a lot of patience and malice. But why dies he feel so threatened by the targaryens? Cause their the only other valyrian dragon lords, cause they ruined his world domination plan years ago, or because hes terrified of fighting anything resembling a fair fight?

Because The Targaryens blew up Valyria and ended the age of the Dragon Lords.

As well as this entire family is DnD protagonists who... frankly, had gained their reputation as adventurers and mad lads, because being around their estates and raising dragons were not exciting enough.

Death does not scare them, so that makes them unpredictable, dangerous, and otherwise extremely hard to kill.

As for the fair fight?:

The Targaryens (potentially) can kill him, so he... wishes to make sure anyone with the power or ability to kill him, are dead.

So a combination of the three plus fear of death, got it. I can't wait till we just ruin his years of work in front of him.

I'm just wondering...are we going to be doing anything with the Company of the Rose?
Yes but that is a story and spoiler for another time.

While BitterSteels boys are the more famous, the roses will have plenty of work cut out for them.
Has Rodrik Forrester gotten married to Elena Glenmore
Yes.
And has anything in the North gotten stranger?
Lyanna Mormont is a warg for a bear.

Dominic Bolton has… been cleaning house from his fathers old retinue, and retainers.

Robb dislikes being lord of the North and wishes to go adventuring across the North and Westeros.

Bran is a Prophet who is trying his best to… stop holy wars.

Caitlyn is the only sane woman.

The Umbar are too angry To die against bears and other large woodland creatures..

Oh and Direwolves are south of the wall.

And the Skagosi are really pissed off at eastern ships not paying their taxes.
