i guess so.
today is Kai'sa's birthday. my least favorite LOL champion.
her design and personality infuriates me to no end.
she breaks the lore of the universe so much. she was trapped in a void infested sub dimension when she was tens for years.
yet she emerged looking like a super model somehow.
which breaks the threat of the Void that Riot has been building up including retconning my favorite element of LOL lore to make them form cool mysterious invaders to praise the sun PTSD weirdos. but that was all for naught because Kai'sa came out fine.

1 - We are not likely to get any Demacian in Arcane
2 - There is only 1 Leagueverse where Lux and Jinx are even in proximity and that is the Star Guardianverse.
3 - Outside of that the only thing that brought them together in the eyes of fans initially is because of the psycho laugh Lux has had.
4 - There are tags in AO3 that are "Jinx is crazy" and "Lux is crazier"
5 - I have only ended up reading 1 fanfiction so far where the lightcannon ship is a legit slow burn because while Lux is the kind of person who would defend others, Jinx still makes her VERY uncomfortable and meanwhile Jinx wants what Vi and Cait have but because she does not know better she can be dangerously clingy.
6 - Kai'sa being hot & sexy never bothered me or took away the threat of the Void because I know her looks were to make money

Riot can make hot champions without breaking the lore. like Evelynn where being sexy is the main point because she is a succubus.
or Akali where her beings hot is in the realm of possible because she has access to medicine and bodily care. and hasn't been trapped in a hell dimension for years.
if you want sexy characters to sell skins that don't give them lore that directly contradicts there hotness. and defangs your major threat.
Neeko being hot doesn't contradict her lore.
the Wild Rift trailer prominently shows Jinx interacting with Lux.
I don't see promo trailers (let alone the one for the mobile version) to have anything major related to it. If anything that was mainly to help sell the game as Jinx and Lux are 2 of the most popular champs. I mean Jinx also popped in on Yasuo, so you might as well ship them, too.
And Kai being sexy does not really break the lore. It's symbiote armor. Plus she is the only person who has shown a strong enough will to resist the Void, meanwhile others have gone mad or been actually consumed (there is likely a bug under Malzahar's headscarf) or need gear to go near it (speaking of Papa Kassadin got a new splash art for his base skin).
I liked her look in The Call-she looks more sinister and a bit feral, fits more in line with her backstory.

actually it does the Void is incredibly dangerous and people who have just glimpsed the void have gone insane.
and why is it that only a random ten year old has a strong enough will and not adult warriors or even gods?
Because she is that boss? Badass kids surviving something that would twist others is not that uncommon of a trope.
And it's not like she came out unscathed. That void armor is literally fused to her at this point, no getting it off and even if you could I doubt what you'd find under it is that great. Heck, the suit is one of the main reasons she survived this long to begin with.

no it does Kai'sa is supposed to be seen as a monster by herself and the people of Shumira but she looks like a normal hot lady.
She usually has her helmet on when interacting with others. She has actively pushed away any humans up until she recently encountered Taliyah and her group. Heck she has killed people to get the point of "Get the fuck away from here" across to them. She knows she is not normal and is mainly focused on just hunting any Void creatures she finds on Runeterra.

The Void suit kept her beautiful and healthy! - Everything they established, the entirety of the Void lore repeatedly shows that any contact with the Void is disastrously bad for humans. You can't make something a deadly poison and then say "Oh it's lethal to most people, except her. By the power of boob, to her it's a harmless beauty product."
It's not really. This whole thing started because The Void got mentioned when talking about the Hexcore and it kind spiraled from there. Truth be told I don't think its this serious.

The closest you can really connect Kai'Sa to Piltover/Zaun is she teamed up with Ezreal in that one cinematic, and if fuckboi Indiana Jones shows up in Arcane I will eat an entire hat.
Also I think the most egregious example of a champ that's inexplicably a generic white girl despite their lore is Gwen, not Kai'Sa. (Seriously riot, give the animated doll character stiches or something).

well many dolls are designed to mimic humans and be cute so Gwen being cute makes more sense then "I have a void creature on my skin"
I despise Kai'sa as a wasted opportunity of design so much because "human in uneasy symbiosis with void creature" was so interesting.
and i heard that Shimmer was Void derived so when Viktor's tainted blood got on the hexcore it got void infected.
but then again Shimmer being Void based has never been confirmed. and it's just people making assumptions.
It was made by Singed, its WORSE than being Void derived.

Gwen does have stitch marks. It's the glowing blue lines on her neck and arms.

Actually thinking about it, Jinx has better weapons, she definitely has the advantage in ranged combat.
Both of them are juiced on superhuman serums so we can assume they are physically equal, but Harley has a lot of experience in hand to hand combat plus being a former Olympic grade gymnast plus actually carrying melee weapons so melee should be on her favor.
And Harley has was more feats.
If there is prep time and Jinx gets to make her drone swarm then Jinx wins, no question. But I random encounter? Depends way to much on the details of the encounter.
