The confession they want is wrong as expected - Season 2 (Kaguya-sama/Oregairu)

Most likely Shijo Mikado. Everyone in Kaguya communities made this conclusion. Dude is literally just Shirogane but actually genius.

It's just that Aka being hacka, decided "she's everyone's idol" (Should not be shipped) lol
Mikado is such a nonentity though, he basically have all the bearing of a good rival characters, but it's like Aka instinctively know that readers would find him more interesting than the rest of the cast, especially Shirogane, that he'd just shelf him the entire time. When he wanted to use him in the final arc, Aka basically wrote himself into a corner since Mikado wasn't developed at all, and just turn him into a pushover of a rival who doesn't have any semblance of a fight in him.

Complete waste of character

Aka instinctively know that readers would find him more interesting than the rest of the cast,
Not when he was introduced as wimpy-ass, kind-hearted, and honest virgin, aka, what Kaguya THINK Shirogane is. They're like two sides of a coin, because Shirogane ascribe his current personality what he THINK MIkado is.
It is a perfect setup to love triangle botched by the fact that the main pairing already together long before it formed.

Ultimately, Mikado's introduction was simply badly timed. Rather than people calling Aka names, I'd chalk this whole thing to him being distracted by 3 things
1. His divorce. People are super mean to him about this and it was awful. These people should fuck off. Apex is just a minor distraction at best.
2. Oshi no Ko. This one I CAN blame him. If there's one thing you should avoid as a professional serial writer, it is to write multiple series at once with a known and constant deadline. Because your brain simply aren't designed for that. Chinese WN writers do this and all they do is produce word vomit.

So yeah, I say OnK is ultimately to blame how badly handled Kaguya later on.

You can't blame him. Dude is worshipped in VCR server too
VTubers love to suck his proverbial dick. If I was him, I'd be all too happy playing with them.
all i ever see in VCR clip of him is Vtuber trolling him left and right with his manga

Hacka is doing the same mistake again with OnK but this time with Renai... motherfucker thinks he's Togashi... except that the latter manages 2 legendary works, HxH and YYH but had to rush the ending of the latter, and the former suffers multiple hiatuses due the chronic back pain we associate him today. It's bad enough that he decided to spoil the ending of HxH fearing that he won't live to write it himself. Can't blame him due to what happened to Kentaro Miura... RIP to the GOAT.

I never really got the togashi worship, honestly thought yyh took a massive nosedive after dark tournament and basically unreadable on the final arc, while most of hxh is just the narrator telling everyone how awesome everything is instead of actually just drawing a good sequence

He's like the anti-kubo, and for all the kubo meme, he's still pretty godlike when it comes to showing and not telling

I never seen Togashi hype either, especially after the gigaplanet reveal.

But either way, this is staggeringly offtopic so I should call the discussion off.

Oh God I just had a terrifying thought
And it was not something I want to do, but still something I could do
FFFFFFF

Now I'm getting curious on what it is. Don't leave us hanging here Zero
(at least PM me so that I'm not eaten by curiosity.)
:V

I know for sure Zero introducing Momo derailed uncontested Hayasaka route.
Introducing Momo AND making Chika super prominent.

Though Chika-Hachiman dynamic is too natural and wrote itself as friends, some readers do notice how awkward it is whenever the situation turn romantic... which is the point. Unless handled maturely, romance often ruins friendly vibe. Chika know this very well, another reason why she refused to flirt with Hachiman seriously. (aside from the obvious dating ban)
-totally manly shriek of terror-
Exactly my reaction.

Chika is hardly alone in that sentiment, to be fair. Hell, you could say "Fear of Ruining What Has Been Built" is the primary underlying drive that fuels Suchiiin!Hachiman's character, what with how he resisted the expansion of the StuCo and the horror he showed to Momo's ungraceful and unsuccessful seduction attempt.

Which makes complete sense from a guy who went from being ostracized most of his life and tormented during his middle school days to being a prominent member of the leadership of the most elite academy in Japan with a tight circle of friends, a support group, and being held in high regard by the student body with an unimpeachable reputation for fairness and integrity.

You know Chika would be utterly terrifying if her dad were to rescind the dating ban, Hachiman would know no mercy from her desire and Moeha would be left shaking at the thought of Komachi becoming her sister-in-law. :V
