Supervillain CEO (CK2 Quest)

No, you said that Nasira would not have worn Joan's costume unless in dire need. If it was a decently loose jumpsuit, it would not expose legs or cleavage, so why would Nasira not wear it?

As I said, it is skintight and Nasira considers that to be too showy of Joan's figure to be count as modest even if it doesn't show much skin at all.

I just realized that at 26 Joan has the highest intrigue... I thought she was more bust through the wall like the Kool-Aid Man and try not to kill someone. But I guess going against Warlord is the whetstone needed to be all kinds of sneaky. THE HECK.

Since people are using the stone mask... For whatever reason, I think studying it more would be somewhat of a priority. Damn Fae.

[X] Plan Rudimentary Improvements

Other than that if Joan wishes to dip out of the ring's control I wonder how that'll work out. Otherwise what'll be her wish? Revenge? Could turn out poorly. More powah? Whole slew of issues that could pop up. Anyhow I don't want to refuse her since Nasira got a turn so I guess it's her turn on the XBox.

To be clear my head has the mask under the category of monkey's paw so I'm very pessimistic towards the results that'll come about from wishing from it. Gotta study it in case we gotta fix the girls.

It is a mixture of that combined having to keep up her own secret identity. Joan has had to make regular use of her intrigue and as a result, she has become quite good at it.

So, I heard that a literal dragon was rampaging across Scottland. Apparently, there were photos [link] [link] of it as well. Um, can someone summon King Arthur? We need the knights of the round table

The drake stared longingly at the herione. With a deep voice, he declared, "you have been interrupting my meals in my territory". The heroine felt ashamed. She knew the poor thing was just trying to eat, and knew exactly how to make it up to him.

Summer 2013 Results - Part 1

As you settle down into the business of dealing with Diamond Knight's intrusions into your claimed territory, Nasira spends her time away adjusting to her new powers. Between regular reports and the occasional meeting in person, you are left with a good idea of how things have been going. Unfortunately for you, it becomes apparent that Nasira is going at the basic uses. She has mastered the basics of flight even if she needs some practical experience to get as good as someone like Joan while Nasira has grasped control over her fire breath. Not only does she know how long a single bout can last, but your best friend has also figured out how to put differing amounts of power behind each flame. A useful tool especially given you don't always want to burn something down at maximum power.

The rest of it isn't so much learning how to use her active powers, but how to handle her passive powers. There is a fine art to using super strength without breaking everything you touch let alone keeping your true strength secret from those around you. Fortunately for Nasira, she has some advantages from her past experience with her strength-enhancing power armour and Joan being willing to give her some tips on the matter. The next matter is a similar one where Nasira needs to learn how to hide her superhuman toughness by being able to fake injury and pain convincingly when a normal person would suffer such things in her position. Once again, Joan's helpful advice proves to be a boon to Nasira's here and the only real issue that Nasira faces after the first month of accidentally crushing things is adjusting to her new level of sensory input.

For some reason, Nasira has the most trouble to adapting to her heighten senses out of all the changes. You aren't sure why, but your best friend just struggles with being able to smell better and being able to see twice as far and in twice as much detail. Nonetheless, she has gotten the matter under control as the summer begins to come to an end and Nasira will be able to return to work without any difficulties in September.

And while Joan has been giving some helpful advice and tips to Nasira, that isn't all that your wife has been up. With a clear supervillain to tackle that isn't you, the Sentinel is once again highly active throughout Hampshire. Any overt operations by the Diamond Dominion find themselves being consistently hit by Sentinel and shut down within a week one way or another. Even the more covert ops aren't safe from your wife's wrath as the better part of a decade duking it out with you has left Joan with a sharply honed mind when it comes to supervillain schemes.

That isn't to say that she gets all of them as you know for certain that Diamond Knight has been able to establish a foothold. But that foothold is far weaker than what it could be and the fact that the Sentinel has consistently uncovering operations of the Diamond Dominion has been making the news with the same consistency. It turns out that individuals who would otherwise be open to working with Diamond King have second thoughts when they turn on the news to see that another of his operations has been shut down.

Of course, hitting Diamond Knight and his Diamond Dominion is just one part of this whole affair. Joan has played her role well, but still that leaves your part in this shadow war. Your first priority is strengthening the bare bones that is your criminal syndicate. What barely sufficed in the past is not going to cut it in a crime war against the Diamond Dominion even if the Warlord could take the Diamond Knight any day of the week. So you expand your operations, recruit more loyal individuals before training up to basic competence. With a boatload of new members and enough fresh ventures to match, you seem a lot of your time ensuring that there is a proper chain of command your newly expanded criminal syndicate beyond having a bunch of small groups all answering directly to you. Fortunately, that sort of thing is something you are an old hand at and no one in your organisation dares to question how final your authority is.

Yet while you have kept away from the worst practices and more often than not, you set up legitimate covers for your illegal ventures, but you still end up involved in many affairs that you would deem...distasteful to say the least. Unfortunately, Diamond Knight has no such qualms and despite both you and Joan, he finds plenty of places to set up shop as he gets himself involved in criminal ventures that you have eschewed on moral grounds. Things such as human trafficking, actively targeting the poor and vulnerable and organising assassinations for money.

You dislike being on the back foot, but your opponent is on the offensive, focusing you focus on defence for now as you try to get your wits about you. To that end, you attempt to gather information on the Diamond Dominion so when you do strike, you know what to target for maximum impact. Getting agents in is easy enough given that Diamond Knight is currently on a recruiting spree as he moves into Hampshire. While you have a limited amount of truly loyal individuals to insert into the Diamond Dominion, it is a simple matter of convincing the not so loyal to sell out to you with a mixture of cash and intimidation.

Despite initial successes, your attempts to infiltrate the Diamond Dominion have mixed results. As the months go by, it quickly becomes apparent that a good many of your agents are missing things or the details in their reports are incorrect. With a lot of inconsistencies between what your infiltrators are reporting and what your other sources of information are reporting, you end up having to double check just what is happening before it proves to be harmful.

A good decision on your part as after some investigation, you find to your annoyance that Diamond Knight was able to flip or otherwise identify most of your agents to the point that you practically known in this day to day operations. Unfortunate, but something to be expected due to the low quality assets that you were using for this operation and you deal with the matter by disposing of a few compromised agents and then ignoring the false information being filed by the rest to keep Diamond Knight from catching onto the fact that you have caught on.

There is an upside to the whole affair and that is not all of your agents have been compromised. You may have no spies in his day to day operations, but you were successful in getting reliable individuals into his more secure operations even if common sense dictates that it should be the other way around.

Regardless, you are able to confirm that Diamond Knight primarily operates out of Bournemouth as you expected with a secondary headquarters in Weymouth. While Diamond Knight is something of a control freak when it comes to his criminal empire, the man is still forced to delegate and has a few lieutenants that help him out.

The first and foremost is Smiling Sam, the only actual superhuman that the Diamond Dominion has. With super strength and higher than average toughness to go with it, Smiling Sam is called that due to signature smile that he is always wearing. Very loyal to Diamond Knight, Smiling Sam is to him what the White Dragon is to the Warlord though you don't know how their relationship in their secret identity compares to what you and Nasira got.

The rest of Diamond Knight's lieutenants are mundane humans and not distinguishable from regular criminals beyond working for a supervillain. Jesse Spencer is the individual responsible for operating the Diamond Dominion's secondary base in Weymouth and has something of a freehand while Mad Mina is heading Diamond Knight's expansion into Hampshire.

Zackery "Nine Lives" Bates is Diamond Knight's go to hitman and someone to watch out since he has already taken out three of your people, especially since he got his nickname from surviving a couple of near-lethal situations.

The last one is "One-Hand" Lucy, the chief enforcer of Diamond Knight and the one in charge of his street soldiers. Lucy got her nickname when she lost her right hand to Joan in her early days as the Sentinel. Despite the crippling injury, One-Hand Lucy not only has risen though the ranks of the Diamond Dominion, but she has earnt a position as one of Diamond Knight's trusted lieutenant.

All valid targets to hit and the loss of any would hurt Diamond Knight if only because it means he needs to take time to find someone competent enough and trustworthy enough to take their place.

Due to this update being very delayed, you get a free chance to strike at Diamond Knight.
[] Attempt to eliminate Smiling Sam, Diamond Knight's right hand and only superhuman.
[] Attempt to take out Jesse Spencer, a leading member of the Diamond Dominion.
[] Attempt to remove Mad Mina, the individual leading Diamond Knight's expansion into Hampshire.
[] Attempt to assassinate Zackery Nine Lives, the personal hitman of Diamond Knight.
[] Attempt to get rid of One-Hand Lucy, the chief enforcer of the Diamond Dominion.

Sorry this took so long and is only half of the previous vote done. I've got some bad writer's block and I only broke it after spending most of the weekend playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I'm going to work on the rest of the previous vote in the next update, but to get something out there with a vote, you get to take a free swing at Diamond Knight as something of an apology for the long delay.

Please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes that you spot. Please quote them in the thread and explain what you think is wrong so I know what you are referring to. Feel to ask questions for more details and information.

[x] Attempt to get rid of One-Hand Lucy, the chief enforcer of the Diamond Dominion.

The hitman might be a problem, but criminal empires (like most other empires) run on trade. We're a CEO so I say lets hit them in their wallet. If we're lucky, the foot soldiers will start shooting themselves while trying to fill the vacuum.

[X] Attempt to remove Mad Mina, the individual leading Diamond Knight's expansion into Hampshire.

[x] Attempt to get rid of One-Hand Lucy, the chief enforcer of the Diamond Dominion.

[X] Attempt to assassinate Zackery Nine Lives, the personal hitman of Diamond Knight.

Assassins are too damn annoying in the long run.

[X] Attempt to remove Mad Mina, the individual leading Diamond Knight's expansion into Hampshire.

We're a supervillain, living with a superhero. Assassins might as well not exist for us, for all the harm they can cause (unless they are super-assassins, then it's a cape fight).
