We're good on hero units for now. Time to consolidate our gains and make inroads with Mutant Town. And start churning out mob units.

I'm a paranoid person, and my paranoia says that there's no way news of Three Nod bases disappearing isn't going to result in a force being sent to investigate, so I say we build up as much as possible and scout the area

While preparing for a potential fourth Nod base is important, I feel we should for now focus on gathering allies for now, Im pretty sure they would be grateful considering we just saved them from Nod.

Doubt those two Nod bases will draw much heat to us, since one destroyed the other and the survivor was weak enough afterwards for a mutual kill to be plausible. Plus, them fighting each other in the first place indicates that Nod isn't... well, unified. Would they even care about a Nod base getting destroyed if they aren't involved? (That said, still gonna do a bunch of exploring, albeit focusing on the lower layer because my specific brand of paranoia tells me the biggest threats will be on different elevations from our starting point. Not brave enough to try the surface or the deepest depths yet though.)

Anyway, since we seem to be enemy-less for the moment, might as well take a moment to indulge our curiosity about the Ameboids in between working on our important projects.

It's starting to look like each hero unit (gonna count the Axems as one hero) will give us an additional action. Specialized, admittedly, but still. If the trend continues, then the more heroes we build the more we can do each turn. That's a good enough reason to build more heroes in my book.

They'd finally defeated the local Nod Sun sect.
With the mention of Local Nod Sun sect, I don't think Nod is unified for now.
Yaridovich has exceeded all possible expectations you'd have of him when you fist built him.
Also I'm sure the fist is supposed to be first.
 
Things are going well, but it's only a matter of time before someone makes a move against us. Wonder who it'll be?

Should I change Amoeba research with Project Axem or let it there since we already have a good amount of heroes?

Just leave it. Our hero units are good for the foreseeable future. It's our grunts that need diversification right now.

Wait a second, I think I might change another option but first I need to consult something
@undead frog Considering we lack of Shysters to do so, can we send some of our boss units to Occupy the Nod Bases temporaly? If so how many Shysters would they equate to?

Random idea: maybe we could build mental institutes once we get enough resources? May be a good eay to boost Reputation, while also getting disposable Units that no one would miss.
 
No the jobs you need the Shysters for are more varied than just being able to beat a lot of guys in a fight.
So basically the sort of thing we need numbers (and, possibly, a humanoid body) for, I take it?

For example, having enough eyes to keep a significant guarding force active. One hero, no matter how powerful, is not enough to guard every approach. That sorta thing?
 
...Actually, something we should probably consider: Can we dedicate two actions to building Shysters in the same turn?
