Super 8 Bit Dystopia RPG (8-bit Dystopia CK2 Style Quest)

Chuckya: A variant of a bob-bomb that oddly enough doesn't exploed but instead throws enemies or sometimes throws other bob-bombs at enemies. You are pretty sure Puchinello wants to make them because he likes purple as opposed to any practical reasons however.
Results: Chuckya added to Puchinello's Workshop unit list.
I think the DC is missing here.

[ ] Scout (Further West, Further North, Lower Layer, Further East): You know nothing about the areas around you base, you should take some time to scout out one of those areas.
DC: ???

The immediate lower layer is… sparse.

Just empty space much like the ramp was in the area immediately above it.

Nothing except for another ramp leading further down.

Hmmmm.

You order Mack to return…. Another easy to take territory is far from a bad thing but its main value is in the ramp leading to the lowest parts of the Pipeworks, which you will not have your current weakest Made Machine subordinate explore without security at least the area immediately above it.

Results: Found a ramp to further down.

[ ] Scavange (Martial): Now that you have a decent hold on the Junkyard you can have some teams examine the place to see if anything of value militarily has fallen down from the upper layers.
Rewards: ???, this action is repeatable.

"Nya?" Bowyer glances around, their had to be something worth his interest in this dump. "Nya stupid junkyard, why can't anyone ever throw away anything of value."

He moved forward unknowingly knocking loose a load bearing piece of debris in the process.

CREEEEEK!

Boywer didn't have time to react before being buried under a pile of debris.

Results: Nothing new but Boywers misery is funny and it raised the morale of the Shysters for a few turns.

[ ] Further Relations: It could be helpful to try and improve your relations with Mutant Town in general.
DC: ???

1d100=41

The good news is that the mutant town is open to increasing relations.

Unfortunately they have also recently started suffering raids from not one but two separate Nod factions.

One uses the more famous red colored banners and has newer equipment while the other uses a grey color scheme and uses much older equipment.

While they are fighting each other at the same time they also have the mutant town caught in the crossfire… and the red faction frequently abducts the inhabitants of the town to forcibly convert into cyborgs.

Results: Two Nod bases revealed in the area.

[ ] Project Yaridovich: The leader to the Jabits like Bowyer is to the Aeros and Mack is to the Shysters, you personally are hoping that he at least ends up smarter than Mack and less insufferable than Bowyer…. You can only hope.

Yaridovich is a thin and wiry looking Made Machine compared to his siblings, perhaps fittingly so given that you based him off of a spear.

Oddly enough, you don't know how he managed to get a red cape so soon after being built though, you know you didn't include that in his design during the planning phase, but perhaps that is just one of minor inaccuracies that can pop up from time to time in the Made Machine forging process.

Magically he's easily the most powerful the Made Machines thus far and his potent shapeshifting abilities have great potential for infiltration.

"Do not worry my wonderful greater." The spear based made machine bows down before you. "I will not make you regret my creation. I will prove to you that I am a machine worthy of any task you assign me."

Over the next few hours you learn that Yaridovich is kind of a suck-up, but that is far from the worst personality quirk you've encountered.

Results: Yaridovich created.

[ ] High Learning: The Mole in Mole Town have proven to be eager learners, you should see if some of them have the aptitude to learn more advanced skills.

Unfortunatly the mutant village isn't the only place suffering from Nod attacks, the Shysters garrisoned at the village are able to protect it but you end up having to cancel the lesions due to the risk of travel at this time.

…. It is very fortunate that you reinforced your workshop because you were livid when you first got the news.

Results: Failure.

The Jabits, so we can have Yaridovich and get the Achievement: Three of a Kind [obtainable once you byild the first 3 Lieutenants]
It took lots of tries and misteps from Bowyer but we finally did it XD

And talking about the spear guy, seems we finally have a target for him to shoot...
Good thing we now have our Three Lieutenants created, considering there are two nod bases to deal with. Would suggest dealing first with the red one on the next turn since it seems to be the one causing most trouble

Stats and Power Levels
Also damn! Those stats are awesome!!!
In CK a 30 in stats is usually what qualifies you as a one man army.

In 8BD the most well known combatants at this level are the Robot Masters, but others like heavily augmented humans and psionics presumably exist.

The reason this is important is because by the time of Super Mario RPG Mario has repeatedly fought through Bowsers entire army and Bowser has for the most part been able to hold his own. Each Made Machine Boss is able to fight against Mario on relatively even footing or fights a party of at least 3 Mario level combatants even if they are defeated in the end.

So to simulate the base martial for the major made machines is 40 instead of 30, but to compensate for that I decided to remove Smithy's ability to mass produce the bosses because I'm pretty sure mass produced combatants that are even stronger than robot masters would break the setting.
