But seriously, Life Fibers have some decent heat resistance feats in Kill La Kill itself, given COVERs and hybrids don't seem to actually be much affected by heavy explosives and such. (Well, more heavy explosives for hybrids, only seen COVERs take a missile/RPG or two)
Must have grown weak after centuries of that 'Tourist Trap' scheme.
Now that's one thing Queen Chrysalis understood, you can you use tricks to help your goals along, but at the end of the day you just have to wage a war of conquest or you'll end up growing weak and non-fire retardant.
Well, as everyone else has kindly pointed out, it was during atmospheric entry which is significantly hotter than most earthly flames.
I also vaguely remember something about absorbing too much power from Shinra, but I'd have to watch the scene in question to say one way or the other...
*Goes off to Netflix*
EDIT: So Senketsu did absorb too much power from Shinra-Koketsu and was starting to fall apart, or at least fray, before he began atmospheric rentry. Whether that actually had anything to do with him burning up in the atmosphere though is unclear and debatable.
My finished Kirby sheet thanks to Xellos for all the help!
Kirby
High Concept: One Tough Pink Puff
Trouble: Eating People Is Wrong?
Endless Hunger
Puffball of Many Abilities
Star Warrior
Skills:
Superb (+5): Will, Physique
Great (+4): Drive, Athletics
Good (+3): Shoot, Fight,
Fair (+2): Empathy, Rapport
Average (+1): Provoke, Stealth
Stunts:
Enhanced Durability - Tier II
Quick Healer - Tier I
Pocket Dimension: Your stomach acts like another dimension that you can use to store stuff for later. So long as you can fit the items inside your mouth, you can bring those inanimate items anywhere without being encumbered by weight or risk of them being stolen. Flier: Your Athletics skill can be used to fly, with all that entails. Inhale: You may create a powerful vortex of air to try and suck things into your mouth for consumption, or blow out puffs of inhaled air. Acts like a breath weapon, and functions off the Shoot skill at +2(as if attacks with this had Weapon:2). It may also be used to create advantages on the environment or enemy as appropriate. If you successfully take out an enemy with this ability, or target an enemy that cannot resist, you may swallow them whole. Star Blow (requires Inhale): If you inhale a physical object, you may spit it out as a Weapon:4 Star with Shoot. Copy Ability (requires Inhale): When you inhale a certain object or enemy, you may swallow them to gain a copy ability related to the object or enemy in question, allowing you to shuffle your skill points to assist the copy ability. While you have a copy ability, the stunts Inhale and Star Blow cannot be used. If you take a moderate or higher physical consequence while you have a copy ability, you lose the ability, or you may discard the ability at any time. You also spend a number of refresh on forming a pool of copy points for stunts with the abilities. This stunt costs an initial 1 refresh to buy, and you must spend additional refresh to form your pool of copy points.
Gear:
Warp Star: A personal vehicle capable of flight at high speeds.
Star Blasts (Ranged, Weapon:4)
Ramming Speed ('Melee', Weapon:5) Enhanced Speed - Tier III Rebate (+3): The Enhanced Speed only functions while riding this vehicle, and it will not affect initial position in turn order(though it will take effect normally after the first turn of battle). As the Warp Star shines brilliantly, you cannot utilize Stealth while riding this vehicle, disabling that portion of the Speed stunt. If the Warp Star is brought to ground after taking off, it will be temporarily 'destroyed' and cannot be used for the remainder of the scene. This also makes it extremely unwieldy and almost impossible to use indoors. Its bonuses modify the riders Drive skill rather than their Athletics skill.
Stress and Consequences
Physical: OOOOOOOO
Armor: 2 vs all physical stress
Mental: OOOO
+1 mild physical consequence
+1 mild mental consequence
Stunts Quick on the Draw. You can use Shoot instead of Notice to determine turn order in any physical conflict where shooting quickly would be useful. Specialized Archer: When firing an arrow, it will be at +2 to damage in addition to its normal weapon rating. Charge Shot: When drawing back your bow, you may CaA Charged Shot with the Shoot skill. When successfully made, this aspect will have an additional free invocation placed on it, but the aspect goes away completely right after being used. Camouflage: Once per scene, after you make a Shoot attack, you may roll to create advantage with Stealth as a free action.
Fire Breath (Shoot); Weapon: 4
Stunts Fire Breath: When making Shoot attacks with your Fire, you are at +1 to the skill. Advanced Fire Breath: When making Shoot attacks with your Fire, you are at +2 to the skill. Fire Resistance: You get a +2 to defend whenever aspects such as On Fire and others related to high temperature are invoked against you. Burning Body: When you succeed with style with a melee attack you can choose to to put an Aspect such as On Fire on your enemy in place of receiving a boost.
Bombs (Shoot); Weapon 4
Skills:
Superb (+5): Will, Shoot
Great (+4): Physique, Athletics
Good (+3): Drive, Fight,
Fair (+2): Empathy, Rapport
Average (+1): Provoke, Stealth
Stunts Friendly Fireproof: Your bombs do not harm allies caught within the blast radius. Quick on the Draw: You can use Shoot instead of Notice to determine turn order in any physical conflict where shooting quickly would be useful. Gunk Bomb: When through a bomb you may CoA a Gunk Bomb, when successful enemies within the blast radius that fail to defend receive the Covered in Gunk aspect. Concussive Blast: When you succeed with style with a shooting attack you can choose to to put an Aspect such as Disoriented on your enemy in place of receiving a boost.
The fact that an always present Weapon:2 Shoot means waaaaaaaaaaaay less in this game.
Breath Weapon is actually kind of garbage for its price in DFRPG to begin with. I assume it was meant to be compared with the Claws power, but that ability stacks with the ever present Strength, and has upgrades. Breath Weapon didn't. It operated in this weird zone where the ability to breath supernaturally hot hell fire from your maw was about as useful as carrying a pistol, and significantly more expensive. Bad power. Never take. Certainly not for [-2].
As a player, I feel like a little bit of an ass for trying to save Snowflame so damn hard, when I know his player isn't there, and the only way he'd get back up is as either an NPC or for GM Planeswalker to take him immediately.
Still, I don't think I could write Spark any other way.
He was unfortunately too much dead at the time of you feeding him an Oran Berry. Guess they just don't work as well on creatures that can't be turned into data or just run through a machine to instantly heal all ailments.
EDIT: My experience with Oran Berries is about half a Potions worth of healing anyway, why are they the ultimate healing item? They should only be about four shifts worth of effect anyway, so they wouldn't be able to completely heal a severe consequence when used.
Too much dead, not all dead. Your Oran Berries are tied to your Useful Little Things stunt, which means they're four shifts worth of effect. They aren't even enough to fully restore a severe consequence, let alone revive a 'completely taken out' character.
Spark's from the Mystery Dungeon universe, though. There isn't any PCs or heal stations.
Instead, they have Oran Berries, which heal 100 HP.
Maybe have Snowflame come to long enough to grab Spark's paw, mutter "Rosebud," or "Cocaine" or something and then dramatically twitch and roll his eyes to make things abundantly clear?
It wouldn't manage that much. You can look at his body and see he's very clearly still a chest wound, albeit a smaller one, this whole fight and discussing and catching Sound Strike collecting loot. Which was too long.
It's been a fair amount of time since he was stabbed. He has passed on. This person is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker. He's a stiff! Bereft of life! He rests in peace! If there were daisies around, he'd be pushing them up! His metabolic processes are now history! He's off the twig! He's kicked the bucket! He's shuffled off the mortal coil! Run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible! This. Is an Ex. ParrotSnowflame.
I cannot make this any more clear. The Oran Berry did not make him appear physically fixed. He is not only dead, he is obviously dead.

Apologies - sarcasm and mockery while being two o'clock in the morning does not make a happy person. I understand it's a joke, but seeing that I deal with that sort of mockery every day of my life, I really should be more used to it.
I'll just take a short rest and see if I can get a post up later today.
