Stark Quest 2.0: The Search for Shinies

There you go Mazrick. The tally program has made it's decision clear.

Don't make people choose, give them all the shinies.

Hmm. Theres a bug on the program it seems. It fails to tally if started from the first few pages.

Try starting from message #50?

EDIT: from post 25 to end gives an error. From post 26 to end works.

Which is page 1 as Enjou said.

Ok, the tally stands at:

Boost Regeneration - 5
Boost Fire - 1
Boost Ithroen - 1
Westerosi Reinforcements - 3
Angreal - 2

[X] Extreme Growth Spurt within one of the Three Magic disciplines the next time you train it. (+3 in the chosen spell; +1 in a discipline)
-[X] Write-in. Mind magic (+1), Regeneration (+3)

Reasoning: Most useful in the long term. But that Ithroen naming though

Are you guys sure that with Ithroen 3.5 we couldn't so some significant shit?

Its interesting, but not sure if its going to work. Ithroen might be able to protect his name anyway (for him, it would probably be a priority), and not sure it would be wise to piss him off by trying to use his Name anyway.

Heck, consciously choosing to try to control Ithroen with his name could be considered an attack that would break the contract?

-[X] Naming: Ithroen

Changing vote.:D

[] Extreme Growth Spurt within one of the Three Magic disciplines the next time you train it. (+3 in the chosen spell; +1 in a discipline)
-[] Write-in. Mind magic (+1), Regeneration (+3)

REASONING: Seems the safest decision, if a little less exciting than learning about Ithroen or how to kill stuff with fire. Sort of the concerned dad approach to magic; "Get the awesome fire magic, or the true name of the demon!" "No! You've gotta get those Regeneration bonuses first, they'll get you further in life."

Reasoning: The 25% less required sleep, gives Harlon more time to do important things like saving the world, finding true love, and of course reading all the books.

A bit of Devil's Advocate:

[ ] Find an Angreal while in Pentos. If this wins, we will roll a 1d1000 to see how strong it is. No Ta'veren bonus applied.
I will say that XP mechanics apply to this roll, and that a roll of 1000+ could get you access to a Sa'angreal. Though it would obviously be significantly weaker than Callandor, and it would probably be familiar to all of the Forsaken.

-[ ] Write-in. Which specific spell do you advance in?(E.g. Destruction, Slow time, Barrier, etc.)
Drogo may be able to shrug off Fire 4 if he's in Shardplate, but his bloodriders are another story...

Also, Destruction 6 might be useful...

[ ] From Westeros with Love. Help is on its way from Home.
C'mon don't you want some of your fellow Westerosi to come and help out! Essos needs some redecorating anyways.;)

What would 3 on 1d1000 get us?

How much XP for 2d1000?

What about 3d1000?

4d1000?

And finally, 5d1000?

Is that a hint that Ithroen is dead?

Also, Destruction 6 might be useful...

Sure, but again only works on non-shardbearers.

Its more impressive if we conquer Essos on our own!

We would be better off coming for Drogo later in that case, IMHO. Its a huge risk to take him out without Ithroen to help us. I doubt anyone will beat him in the meanwhile, so this is not all that urgent.

Yeah, we'd just have to wait until it came time to cheat again. Sticking with what I've got, for now.

How much XP for 2d1000?
75 XP
Is that a hint that Ithroen is dead?
Not necessarily...
Sure, but again only works on non-shardbearers.
75% failure against shardplate. Also, at a certain point Shardplate seems to stop giving defense against mental attacks. (See: Ithroen)
Destruction is Complexity 3 though, easiest among all of them to learn.
Makes it that much easier to max out.
"What do you mean using Thunder to turn every building in Pentos to rubble isn't consulting?! I think it looks great."
C'mon, he'd also want to add some dragonspawn to give it some flair. I imagine Viserys' head would add a certain something to Pentos' gates.:p
