No, I'm getting that with understanding 2, with three it displays as 17.xxx
Calculator is showing it as 40 though, so there is a mistake on my spreadsheet some where.

I meant that ~26 is what you should get from the formula when Understanding=3.

Yea, I need to debug my sheet although I can't for the life of me see where the error is that is causing the difference.

Well, I'll look on the bright side. It was just a bonus, and we have Destruction 7 now.
Honestly with Destruction 7 available, we can focus on other Sequences, magics, and the OP. There are other means for Harlon to be lethal later on. This just gives us a good stopgap measure to deal with some of the various problems that are likely to come up before then.
True, though having a way to instakill shardbearers would have been pretty nice.
We could have stripped everyone who practised slavery everywhre of their shards within couple of days after we learned gateways.

2. Harlon kills Shardbearer with Destruction, grabs the armor and teleports back home

I'd have to agree with Alratan that going for Destruction was not a wise move, but...oh well. *shrug*
I'm for finally focusing on our Augmentation Sequences.
Possession might have been better longterm (though we would have had to level it two more times for it to have become really good).
Maybe we should have gone for regeneration anyway.

Joffrey doesn't know that word. He's not very smart. Ithroen is perfectly in character. *sticks to story*
Just continue asking. Honestly given that she should be bound by her oaths and we can gauge whether or not she's lying based on her answers on stuff we know, we aren't taking too many risks by asking. I also plan on waking up her host next, and she'll likely be able to help us with any answers that are iffy.
Continue with the questions but take the answers with a sack of salt.

I've got absolutely no problem killing those two royals. They undeniably suck. Joffrey is an ego-maniacal sociopath, and Cersei is just a spoiled brat who thinks everything should go her way.
