Star Wars: The Chosen One (An Anakin Skywalker Quest)

You had several hours before Dooku would return. You

Story
[] [Story] Did as Dooku asked and practiced and read.
[] [Story] Decided to go visit Padme. Why -did- she marry Jar-Jar?
Man, being with Dooku is so boring. We should go do something else. Is this write-in allowed?

[] [Story] Sneaked out of the palace and went to the spaceport to hijack a ship so that you could go back home.

In case you couldn't tell, I'm being sarcastic.

wouldn't [] To Find out who Killed Qui-gon and Obi-wan? (+2000XP, +1 CP) be more immediate?

I think that's a bit more long term. I mean it's clear that it was a Zabrak and a Sith. More than that? Will probably take us farther than Naboo in any case. And if we manage to check up on our family, that ambition slot will be open again and we can take the "find out about Maul" ambition.

Could you please stop? We've gone over this already, just let it go, sarcasm and everything. Let's move on.

The political marriage between an elected Human Queen and a Gungan King is actually kind of an awesome way to deal with the many issues of those races. I mean IRL we don't elect the Queens/Kings, so why not? It's a smart way to bridge the gap between their people and should it continue as a new tradition started by Padme it could prove successful.

Also why do people want the bunny?

Ummmmm, killer attack bunny?

I mean with some Sith Alchemy we can get this.

I have forebodings of the bunny being used for the stereotypical "sacrifice something you care about" test...

:V

But I hate rabbits!!!

If Sith Alchemy isn't your thing we can use the Light Side to make this out of the bunny. There are light side objects/creatures, so it should be possible.

That is really obvious. But we can take the 3rd path. We don't kill the Bunny, but make it something better.

[ ] [Bunny] Accepted T'da as your pet.

Accepts the gifts that are given to you. Refusal is the height of rudeness. Having something like T'da will also help center Anakin. An innocent love to temper the dark.

[ ] [Story] Did as Dooku asked and practiced and read.

We will be a good little student. Padmé and Jar Jar are unimportant.

[ ] To Find out who Killed Qui-gon and Obi-wan? (+2000XP, +1 CP)
[ ] To Check on your family? (+2,000, +1CP)

Tentatively choosing these.

It's not the Sith alchemy or the light side, it's the bunny itself, I hate those fluffy little monsters! The thought of owning one as a pet makes me shudder, even if technically it's a fictional character who owns the bunny.

I like that we have a force bond with Dooku already it's nice. I think this pairing is going to work out and going to Naboo is cool.

After the drama with the last vote, let's make this quick and simple.

Bunny
[] [Bunny] Denied the pet, saying, "No, use T'da to remember me."

We voted to join Dooku (and were very lucky), which means we will dedicate all/most of our time to the man and his teachings.

Story
[] [Story] Did as Dooku asked and practiced and read.

See above.

Ambition
[] [Ambition] Ambition: Learn More about the Sith!
[] [Ambition] Achieve Level 3 in Shii-Cho

With the quest set on a new path, which we will hopefully follow for some time, we should focus now on some easy ambitions and quick xp.
I would like to have the Droid ambition in the pipeline to replace the one we finish next.
[] Ambition: Build a Combat Droid (+1000XP)

PS. Did we get the 100XP for our Wanderlust trait?

I personally hate ALL animals. I mean they should pick up my shit and take me places instead of the other way around. Funny with having family members as vets and grew up with animals. /shrugs

Heroes often have animal companions. I personally think we should get a rancor, just cause. But that can come later when we go to the planet with the witches/where Maul came from I believe. Danthomir, I believe.

my salt is reserved for one thing

king jar jar

KING
JAR
JAR

OBI-WAN AND QUI-GON DIED FOR KING JAR JAR

It truly shows that Jar-Jar is the secret Sith Master.

You did. I added it in.

should that not be more reason to turn the rabbit into an actual killer monster?

You know Sith tombs are guarded by these hounds called tuk'ata. I'm more of a cat person, but I don't mind dogs, so why not wait for a Sith hound instead of the furry abomination of nature we called rabbit?

I want some more lighthearted ambitions in the list so here is another write-in offer from me.

[] [Ambition] Learn how to swim
[] [Ambition] Learn how to manipulate water by using force

My reasoning for those is simple. There are water everywhere on Naboo and it can be quite fascinating for a child that have never seen rivers. I think such kind of impression is enough to create an ambition in a young mind. "Water is cool I want to learn how to do funny things with it by using force" IS how 10 year olds gain their ambitions.

Speaking about light hearted
[] [Story] Find remains of trade federation's combat drones to study them and\or grab some parts for later use.

Anakin loves drones, he had no chance to interact with them for a quite some time.

@Arthellion are those write-ins OK?

Learn how to swim is approved (+1500XP)

Learn how to manipulate water is not approved just because that's more of a story enhanced flair thing. Water manipulation is a skill tree for later.

How do you know they aren't made from bunnies?!?

It was claimed that originally the species were non-violent grazing animals before being corrupted by Sith alchemy experiments that awakened latent parts of their brain which transformed them into unnatural abominations.

I like these suggestions. Very kid friendly.
