Good luck with that. Though I bet that people will vote to go full Dark again the moment Anakin gets Light side mastery if he ever really does anyways.

For what it's worth, the Balance Quest line and its visions seem to indicate that if Anakin doesn't master both Light and Dark (mechanically represented by getting his scores to the apex and nadir of the scale) then he's going to die, flat out. It is what it is.

As someone who very much prefers the Light Side of the Force, perhaps because of a different interpretation of canon, I am still pretty happy with where the quest is right now and how it's shaping up to be.
The issue re: getting locked into a dark alignment, imo, was that there was a big struggle between sides near the beginning of the quest, which got resolved in favor of tilting dark on a few key decisions. With that and a few mechanical changes regarding the functioning of alignments, it became best to just stick with it, and many of us shifted over to work with the new direction.
Nevertheless, I can't help but feel that if we'd tilted toward the light on those instead, there'd still just a large cohort trying to push us back toward dark in an analogous situation. Which might be wrong of me to guess, but that's what I got from many of the sentiments expressed during that period of time (along with the "must divert as hard as possible from canon!"). Anyway, from the comments and discussion of the past few updates, it's clear that this isn't just some edgelord / ragelord dark push, so I hope people aren't too worried about it

I am not presuming to speak for the "others" but as far as I understood it most were in agreement that we now go full dark to master this side and afterwards full light ,because that is needed to "win" according to the force dream with the Bendu.

The quest is by no means dead. I have classes/exams/papers this week then get my spring break. Plus I'm in charge of elections for Student Government at my university. Those finish Tuesday. So update should happen within next two weeks. It's got two sections finished already, but got a good bit more.

Cool, cool. So, I gotta ask. Are we shipping Anaking with Padme? It's an important question. Since Aayla died, Padme seems like our only other good (canon) option... Then again, Star Wars has a huggeeeeee expanded universe, so I'm sure we'll eventually find love. Still though, who's the current goals?
