Star Wars: Galaxy in Shambles

[X] Grandmaster Yoda of the Jedi Order, one of a mere handful of Jedi to survive the Second Jedi Purge. Not only is the Order practically nonexistent, but it also is not generally looked upon favorably by either the Empire or the Confederacy. There's also the matter of the Skywalker Twins...

I'm sorry but if the concept is AU and the divergent point is Yoda killing Palpatine. I kinda wanna explore that through the lense of Master Yoda.

Not that the other options aren't all interesting. But this is the one that stands out to me most.
No need to apologize. Yoda's just as viable a choice as anybody else.

[X] Avi Singh, Separatist Senator of Raxus Secundus, and the current Speaker of the Separatist Parliament after Dooku. While generally unopposed domestically after the slaughter of the Separatist Council by Darth Vader, he now has to contend with the realities of being the head of a government that has perpetuated countless atrocities, while also having little to no military to speak of after the deactivation of the Droid Army by Nute Gunray.

If Separatists win, I vote we find the person that made all the wacky droid designs and put them in charge of R&D

It's this or the new Emperor dude, but I don't think the latter is gonna win

From what I read they are more or less solid fuel pallets I believe, being slotted into a vulture and that's it. Honestly it wouldn't be bad to also shove a ion engine or two into a potential vulture upgrade package as a backup.

Also, I like the fact we ar speculating about potential military reforms and upgrades, truly a confederacy moment.

Being fair the Confederacy cannot stand without its Droids. And realistically the droids can be brought back online. It was done a lot in Canon and Legends. And if Nute Gunray was the one who shut us down then it should actually be easier to reactivate Non-Trade Federation Droids?

Regardless we still need to bring them online or start producing a new Droid army on a government controlled network.

To be fair the nemodians for example did have hoke guard units which varied between basically conscript level and absolute hardcore soldiers that could give clones a run for their money. Confed organic forces shouldn't also be discounted even if they would/be a small elite core instead of the main stay when compared to the cheap and plentiful droids.

Also, please do avi Singh guys, we finally have a reason to blare confederacy match and actually be the good guys! Finally the goofy b1s will have a day in the sun!

Yoda will need to find the scattered survivors to rebuild the order. There are many obscure Jedi characters that I like who survived the initial purge, and I'd love the chance to see them in action again. Quinlan Vos, Dass Jennir, K'Krukh, Tra'Saa, Tholme, the Dark Woman, Bultar Swan, Rachi Sitra, Kanan Jarrus, Cal Kestis...

I also really want to see the mess that dealing with the Skywalker twins will be.

And I'd be quite interested in exploring a Yoda that has to confront the mistakes the Jedi made. Specially the hubris of the Council members.

Story Time, all B1's are supposed to be as effectively and emotionless in execution of their tasks as they were in episode 1. However due to a continual stressing of their programming with them being a jack of all trades unit instead of specialists like they used to be. It put more maintenance wear and tear on them.

Then they also weren't receiving regular mindwipes back to default programming, or being properly maintained in general. This led to the efficacy of the B1 being nowhere near projected outcomes because it was expected they'd actually take care of their own damn army of robots.

Main reason was that the techno union where cheapskates and probably didn't want to spend a credit more on a cheap mass produced deodi platform, but to be fair b1s in appropriate numbers and a have decent commander are pretty okay troops, not competent trained soldiers good and no way near mandi good but at least okay.

It's when you go up from b1s then things start getting skewed, we saw how strong b2s are for example and a super can back and a mando in full armour a fair distance.

Being fair if you watch bad batch. We see what well maintained and cared for B1's will do against clones even with just a basic Command Droid. But yeah the Corpos were cheap bastards and weren't fully trying to win. We need to fix those mistakes XD sepratist war effort was not in a good place at this stage. With them being more on the defensive posture.

That can be attributed to the tactical droid actually being good enough orders to ahvr the b1s actually use good tactics, all e need is have good enough ncos for the jobs and we're good. Although once we have our economy up we should probably attempt to correct the tactical droid flaws, they are a bit too arrogant and prone to believing their calculations.

Step one is to shift tatical droids from battlion companders to company commanders. They suffered overload issues and are better at tactics then strategy. As bad batch showed they are damn good at company commands. We can use a mix of organics and super tatical droids for battlion scale and larger.

Also we could make dedicated ship command droids based on the tatical droids who can plug into their assigned ship.

Aight, I'm gonna call the votes there. Yoda ended up winning by a single vote.

True enough, tactical droids aren't by any means bad and are better then b1 or oom commander droids by a fair margin, better to dump them in small companies while super tacticals handle the big jobs.

Making a dedicated analysis droid model would probably be good as well.
