Star Wars: Galaxy in Shambles

[X] Yes. With the Sith gone from the galaxy, there is no risk to training people in the Force, and there is significantly less of a reason to split up. You and the other Jedi will be able to not only teach the children, but also learn from them as you change your methods of teaching.
[X] Tython. The original home of the Jedi, and home to relics from even before the Jedi became the Jedi. Its climate is very conducive to agriculture and anything else the Jedi need to do to sustain themselves. It's largely isolated and unknown, while having a location that's very conducive to conducting missions in the Core. However, it was scarred by the New Sith Wars, and there may very well still be tribal remnants of the Rakata left on the planet.

Tython seems fun.

Hmm interesting Corellia could hold on their own against the what remains of the Empire, I like to see Anakin pulling a stupid and invade Corellia trying to kill everyone....ah wait ding dong the child killer is dead!

Corellia maybe? Still an integral part of the Republic, so we dont look like we are abandoning it. And the Green Jedi are there, and might be willing to help.

Though that's a strong MIGHT since the relations between the main Order and the Greens was frosty at best.

...

[X] Corellia, home to the Green Jedi as well as a founding member of the Republic. The Temple may no longer be safe, but the Jedi cannot afford to be seen abandoning the Republic.
A public existence within Imperial Space... honestly, that's probably the most risky course of action possible short of going to Kamino.

[X] No. The Order is going to need new ideas and fresh perspectives, and on the new path the Order is taking, it is clear that their lessons will need to come from the Living Force, instead of the rigid hand of a millennium of traditions and teachings.
-[X] Have them adopted by Bail and Breha Organa.

Theres also a shitton of old Temples and Outposts scattered across the galaxy. Dantooine, Lothal, Telos IV, Tanalorr, theres a temple on Devaron that was still in active use during the Clone Wara.

[X]Dagobah. A often overlooked swamp world with much in the way of untapped resources, it is both a great hiding place and strong with the force.

[X] Ossus. The second home of the Jedi, and home to countless relics from the pre-Republic Jedi and beyond. It is largely barren and inhospitable, and while that will pose its own challenges, those will be far easier for the Jedi to overcome than anyone who would try to find you. Additionally, given its location, it will be far easier to conduct missions, outreach or otherwise, in the Outer Rim. However, it is also fairly known to the Empire, meaning that Jedi Hunters could end up becoming a significant problem.

To be honest I would rather be open to attack and in the outer rim then hidden and in the core. The core has rejected the Jedi, let us go to those who need our help the most.

A reason why Tython is interesting to me is the idea of the Jedi going back to basics, back to their roots, as they rebuild their strength, spirituality and identity as Jedi, as followers, scholars and practitioners of the Force.

So far I'm interested in Tython but does anyone have any interesting ideas?

I'm honestly thinking the fall of the temple is a good example of why not to put our eggs in one basket.

Corellia was a good suggestion. Though it comes with downsides. And depending on how things shake out, it might bring a lot of heat down on the green Jedi's heads.

Jedha is a planet that is considered strong in the force and is a holy place for many force sects. Hiding out there we might be able to blend in, though it's a place the empire might look first.

Kashyyyk is strong in the living force, and master Yoda has friends among the wookies, hiding in the deep forests may be an option. Though it's likely to have a strong imperial presence.

Of the baseline options, I actually really like Alderaan. It inherently limiting the number of Jedi there could be a good thing. It provides a meeting place for the order and somewhere Jedi in need can go, while also not being at risk of losing large number of Jedi in one go.

Just of the top of my head there is Ilum and its Kyber crystal caves. It once held a temple of the order.

Zeffo might also be interesting since it has ancient ruins.

Lothal is another planet strong in the force.

For completely off the wall write in options? No planet at all, with jedi travelling and moving wherever the galaxy takes them.

-[X] Have them adopted by Bail and Breha Organa.
-[X] Write-In. To become a Jedi is a choice. If they wish to become Jedi then training they shall have. And if not, they shall be watched and protected.
[X] Alderaan. While it may be under the Empire, limiting the number of Jedi that can take refuge there, it will allow you to work much more closely with Bail Organa as he works to restore the Republic, and it will ensure a stable lifestyle for the Order.
[X] Write-In: Jedha. Alderaan alone is not enough to contain most of the order. Much of the Force there is still to learn, and not the only force sect are the Jedi. On Jedha the order can rest and recover. Heal from war and find peace, find sensitives to train, and learn from others. Master Obi-Wan shall be Grand-Master at Alderaan, to see to the twins safety and training if need be, and to work with the Senator to restore the Republic. While on Jedha Master Yoda and the rest of the order shall reside.

Is this write in acceptable?

I don't think we're supposed to be voting in plans here. We're just picking individual options.

I don't even know if it's a valid write in at all. I'm hoping it is. Since there's the big thing about Alderaan not fitting the entire order.

But, for example if it's by line and Tython wins. Then "No, let the children be adopted and if they want to become Jedi later then train them." doesn't really work unless Alderaan is picked as a place for the order.

-[X] Have them be raised by their closest family, on Tatooine.

I suppose that discount Peragus II would work as an alternative enclave, yes, although it will bring environmental hazards similar to Ossus.

Additionally, I will note that choosing to not train the twins from birth, and instead letting the Force bring them to the Jedi when it is time for them to be trained is the option more in line with a more radical departure from the Order's orthodoxy.

All the way back to the Jedis roots - Tyhthon is cool. Ditto for a radical reestablishment of recruiting policy. Let the twins be raised in a loving home and come to the Jedi in their own time.
