The Battle of Saleucami
Tyber Zann
---
Ever a focus point for the hatred of many a criminal, Tyber Zann's fortunes have not improved greatly since the Battle of Endor. Between the loss of assets to a rogue Nightsister, who has not been seen since making off with an army of Sith warriors, and the breakdown of the truce between the Zann Consortium and the Hutts in the wake of Jabba the Hutt's death, Tyber Zann's fate has rested upon a knife's edge. Even the proposed alliance between the Black Sun and the Zann Consortium would fail to reverse he steady decline with the Conference on Nal Hutta resulting in Durga the Hutt's death and the Black Sun's disintegration whilst his foes rallied and plotted his death. It is little wonder then that as the Zann Consortium found itself assailed from all sides and Tyber Zann himself found himself to no longer be in control of his fortunes that he would withdraw, paranoia gripping him, and prepare for whatever came his way.
It would be on Saleucami that that whatever would come with the Corporate Sector Authority, the Galactic Empire, and Drakkus the Hutt all teaming up to put down a figure who had managed to cross nearly every major player that the Galaxy had to offer. Led by a former Imperial officer who had gone into private security nearly a decade ago, the Corporate Sector Authority would be the largest backer in this particular endeavour with two fleets being contributed that would include a number of droid fighters and other toys picked up by the CSA. In contrast, it was believed that the Zann Consortium had rough parity with the forces arrayed against it, constant fighting with the Hutts and the Empire had led to Tyber Zann accruing more than enough assets to ward off most contenders, combined with his own strengthening of the Saleucami System in the wake of the Conference on Nal Hutta. Even by the most generous estimates, it would be a tough fight however it was believed wholeheartedly that between Hutt subversion and Corporate arms that Tyber Zann would be ejected from the system and potentially beaten once and for all.
Initial attempts to sabotage the Zann Consortium's forces behind the scenes, whether by Drakkus the Hutt or by other actors with an interest in bringing Tyber Zann, would fail in the wake of tightened security and constant patrols by Consortium forces. Sacrificing any semblance of a lenient presence on the planet for total security, an unpopular decision to be sure, Tyber Zann would make it a point to execute anyone even remotely suspicious looking as he holed himself up in his palace and delegated day to day operations to his subordinates. With the attempted sabotage having failed, the Corporate Sector Authority's plan would reach something of a hitch with the entering forces encountering a Consortium that was far from weakened and more than capable of engaging the half fleet dispatched to lure them out, something which they would do enthusiastically.
Dispatching several Keldabe-class Battleships to engage in the trespassers, adopting a shoot first, ask questions later policy, who promptly began to withdraw once it became apparent that they lacked the strength to best the ships nor to draw out further ships from around Saleucami itself. At this point the rest of the Corporate Sector Authority's forces jumped into the system and engaged the forward elements of the Consortium's fleet, an engagement which they would initially triumph in before the rest of the Consortium's forces engaged. Outnumbered and with the costs mounting, in terms of credits rather than lives as it was well known that credits were far less expendable, the Corporate Sector Authority would choose simply to withdraw and reevaluate their plan to deal with Tyber Zann from a safe position.
Whilst the Corporate Sector Authority drew up new plans, however, Tyber Zann would immediately go about plotting his vengeance. Sensing that it was Drakkus the Hutt behind the attack, Tyber Zann would launch a series of attacks on Drakkus' assets in the northernmost reaches of Hutt Space whilst rallying whatever pirates, gangsters, and other criminals he could to his side. For the briefest of moments it even seemed as though the Zann Consortium would force an engagement with Drakkus' assets over Nar Shaddaa before it was all ended with barely a whimper. Awaking several months after the Battle of Saleucami, Drakkus the Hutt would find Tyber Zann's head neatly deposited in his room, his own guards unaware of the intrusion, along with a note detailing the location at which payment for his death should be deposited. Meanwhile in the Zann Consortium, Tyber Zann's death has proven both a curse and a blessing with a number of his subordinates breaking off while the more level-headed Urai Fenn would taken over and begin making efforts to undo some of the damage done by Tyber Zann in his final months.
Summary
Battle of Saleucami a success for the Zann Consortium with the Corporate Sector Authority made to withdraw with only minimal damage done to either side.
Zann Consortium briefly surges after the battle before Tyber Zann is killed by an unknown assailant and his head deposited in Drakkus' room.
Drakkus the Hutt now up for several million in credits.
Urai Fenn in charge of the Consortium.
As a result, Drakkus the Hutt would be the first and only Hutt to take an aggressive approach to the matter at hand. Gathering together a particularly large force, comprised mainly of Hutts and Mandalorians, Drakkus would opt to make something of an impression on the feuding factions by jumping into the system, blowing away at least two hundred freighters, starfighters, and other small vessels, and then politely telling everybody to stop fighting. Naturally some would see the writing on the wall and choose to work with Drakkus the Hutt, Rotta the Hutt and Boss Lauli, the latter a Quarren in charge of the so-called Syndicate, whilst others would take umbrage with being told what to do as is often the case. The Exchange, believing itself able to resist Drakkus, would be among those who would defy Drakkus with it's Jawa leader taking some very angry shots at the sky after being informed of his offer, something that would see these brave souls on the receiving end of Drakkus' temper.
Between the Mandalorians, a large number of bounty hunters, and a PMC group working for the Corporate Sector Authority, which would scoop up various businesses owned by the deceased, Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta would both become utter bloodbaths. Mandalorians would shoot up a number of palaces, the leader of the Exchange would be tossed into the exhaust of his own starfighter, and a measure of peace restored to the heart of Hutt Space by forceful means whilst Drakkus the Hutt said his huttly prayers. By the time the shooting stopped, both Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa would be returned to a measure of peace and quiet, though they were by no means back to their usual selves, and other factions in Hutt Space would be made to pay wary heed to Drakkus' activities.
On more minor notes, the involvement of Mandalorians in these activities would cause something of a stir when the Mandalorians started recruiting slaves into their ranks in the process of putting down Drakkus' foes with several thousand former slaves finding refuge within the ranks of the infamous warriors. This has naturally pissed off a lot of people, which is so normal that the Mandalorians have a song about how little they care about what they think, though it has benefited the Mandalorians in that they have found themselves a number of new recruits. At the same time, the Qunaalac Kadijic have publicly thrown in with Drakkus the Hutt with the warlike Hutt Clan finding, in their words of their leader, "Drakkus less disagreeable than the other nerfherders."
Summary
Drakkus the Hutt restores order to Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta.
Rotta the Hutt and Boss Lauli, the latter leading the Syndicate, align with Drakkus the Hutt.
Mandalorians pinch slaves from vanquished foes and recruit them in order to bolster their numbers.
Corporate Sector Authority establishes a presence on Nar Shaddaa.
Qunaalac Kadijic aligns with Drakkus the Hutt as well.

Power Plays in Hutt Space
Boss Lauli
---
Elsewhere, the infighting that erupted in the wake of the Conference on Nal Hutta has continue to rage on. With so many prominent crime-lords having perished in the bombing, such a state of affairs is unsurprising as is the plethora of characters and factions engaged in the feuding and bickering on Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta where the loss of these figures is felt the hardest. Some have used the chaos as a way of regaining prominence, like the Exchange which has gone from being a veritable non-entity to possessing weight once more, whilst others as a way of settling scores, like the Huttling, Rotta the Hutt, who has proven to be a terrifying tyke. Naturally, however, there are some who take umbrage with this state of affairs and of those who do, it would be Drakkus the Hutt who would be the most prominent with the Hutt proving to be decidedly against this particular sort of lawlessness.Power Plays in Hutt Space

The Wayward Planet's Return
Concord Dawn
---
On much more quiet news, the planet of Concord Dawn has returned to the fold with the planet's leadership answering the call from Mandalore and pledging it's support to the leader of the Mandalorians. Having failed to answer the initial calls due to the distance between Concord Dawn and Mandalore, it is believed that the arrival of envoys from Mandalore have managed to entice the planet over and seen it throw in it's lot with Mandalore. Due to the planet's general obscurity, this has largely gone unnoticed especially as the planet has little to offer aside from soldiers, crops, and sets for Westerns. The Wayward Planet's Return
