Souls of Beyond, Returned to Protect (Kantai Collection) (Still Open to Submission)

While I am deciding on returning or not I would like to note that should I do so Cypher will remain as an NPC and I will be playing as Alamo
 
Did some slight editing to my sheet- now that Azur Lane has USS Massachusetts, I'm pushing my character's design slightly over. The biggest difference is hair color-whereas before Mamie's hair was dark with purple highlights, it's now white with purple highlights. In addition, her rigging is less "Shield wall" and more traditional rigging. Check the sheet if you need to know more.
 
@Jhin Lemon Midway has suffered a Catastrophic System Failure or severe mental breakdown, her mind has kinda just flown away. In a last ditch effort to save herself, she has shut down for good. Right now, her fairies are attempting extensive emergency repairs and Midway is going to be out for a long time. She will come back to her senses someday, hopefully.

So you're dropping Midway? At least temporarily?
 
@Lt Darkhound Unless you people tell me that dreamposts are allowed, Midway is dead for good.

Montana will pretty much blame herself and remain by Midway's side until she comes back if ever.

Well.... to be honest, I looked over my interactions over this past month and a half, I have a grand total of 10. Half of those are with the other Montana. Kinda tells you how much I am involved in this RP. I am pretty sure that if I drop it, the other guys wouldn't even notice.

I don't really want to drop it but I can't go on like this. So, I guess I'll ask you to transfer me to another base, that way at least I'll know what is going on at all times with fewer faces around. You wouldn't have a spare admiral lying around would you?

Sadly we don't have another admiral. And moving you to another base would only really intensify the problem if you want to stay, since the base is full of NPCs. Besides, you haven't really had much time for interactions given you showed up as a mission was about to start; the upcoming stuff is meant to be a bit of social interaction between the various players before the next mission turns up.

I'm starting to regret buying into the hype and not making an admiral. I'll still be around but will spend most of the time playing as Montana while she is with Midway. I guess you can ping me when you need to sortie a Battleship.

Thinking about it, I still have 5 slots left, one Capital ship and 4 smaller vessels. Im thinking about bringing an alternate history Destroyer and have her mess with the others in not a good way.
 
Well, there's nothing saying you can't switch from your shipgirls to an admiral. Though as the last time we had two admirals showed, there can be timing problems with having players be split among two locations. Plus San Diego is currently meant to be where I stick NPC escorts so they don't need to be characterised off mission
 
@Jhin Lemon Well... I guess I can sacrifice the capital ship slot I have left to create an Admiral? Or do I need to sacrifice Montana/Midway? Is San Diego and Pearl the only naval bases we currently have?

I'll start working on the destroyer in the meantime.

I'd have preferred the sacrifice of a PC slot for an Admiral. There are technically a bunch of other naval bases with shipgirls around the world; Pearl Harbour, Yokosuka, and San Diego are the only ones mentioned IC. Pearl is where our PCs are currently, Yokosuka is where most of the shipgirls that were dropped when the RP was revived went, and San Diego is where I'm keeping NPC escorts.

If you want an Admiral I'm not really sure where they'd go or how I'd justify splitting our forces to go over there, but I can figure something out if you're adamant about this.
 
You know something... I get the admiral spot and you give me a list of shipgirls, all NPCs. I go on about my bussiness and my posts follow my PoV. Then it's no longer an RP and it's pretty much me typing a Fan Fiction....

Not happening, I'll save the Admiral spot for later on when you decide to split the fleet if ever. I'll play the Destroyer while I wonder what to do with Montana and Midway.
 
Due to reasons both personal and relating to the RPs nature, i have decided to bite the bullet and permanently pull out. Eskimo will remain as an NPC for QM use, thanks everyone for the fun.
 
Darkhound has informed me that due to life stuff he has to (hopefully temporarily) drop out of the RP, as such Thalia/Wales, Gamby and HMS BIsmark will become NPCs until his return.
 
On account of Darkhound now officially leaving, we can skip over his last thing and move on shortly. Get hype.
 
And then I spend a half hour making and changing threadmarks. Still, thanks Kei!
 
FYI y'all, we'll be skipping straight to the mission after we pick it, no socialising over breakfast (we've had that go on for too long so far :p).
