*Stamps approved*I'm back!
Name/Alias: Alexander Lee, Jervis
Ship Class: J-Class (Flotilla Leader)
Ship Name: HMS Jervis
Appearance:
Personality: Cheerful and enthusiastic. She has a long fuse, but when it blows.... Her
rage burns cold.... Cold and methodical.
Quirks: Lover of all kinds of Tea, she will drink tea while engaged any kind of
conversation
Bio: Alexander Lee enjoyed working. He did not enjoy it when some madman shot him
while robbing the store he worked at. Waking up as a Ship? Sure, why not? Wait....
Your telling me I'm going to be a TEEN again? *Head-desk*
History:
- Launched in September 1938, HMS Jervis was designed as the flotilla leader for the J-class destroyers, and saw action throughout all of WW2.
- She is jointly (with Orion and Nubian) one of the most decorated ships for Battle Honours in the Royal Navy, second only to Warspite. She was seen as a lucky ship, as despite all the action she saw she never lost a crew member in the whole war to enemy action. Her sister Kelly, leader of the K-class, meanwhile was very much an unlucky ship.
- She spent much of her career in the Mediterranean, escorting convoys and attacking land targets, as well as attacking several Italian convoys. She was present at the Battle of Cape Matapan where she assisted in the sinking of Zara, and finished off Pola after taking off her remaining crew. She also took part in the D-Day landings.
- Post-war she helped police the Italian waters, before being used as an explosives test ship and then scrapped in 1949.
Likes: Tea, Coffee (on the rare occasion she has it), and a good book
Dislikes: Those who dare interrupt tea time, failing escort missions, and Television Shows

Going to try yes i make no promises on real life deciding to stomp all over me
Well, our current carriers are all US ones, which had repair facilities on board, but she'd be able to take pressure off them. Plus, as a light carrier herself she could provide air support with her own planes, allowing others to commit to offence more.

Perhaps, but it describes HMS Unicorn as a Carrier Tender, able to build/ replace Carrier losses on the spot, as well as defending themselves. Although...
Would that mean Carriers would be well fed/ cut the costs to field a force of Carriers?
I just had the mental image of a bunch of Carriers following HMS Unicorn to get food.
Can they upgrade a Carrier's Flight Wing if Researched? Can they help obsolete carriers fly better planes?
Yeah, one of Unicorn's main purposes was to support other carriers by replacing their aircraft with ones she had on board. She'd would probably replace lost planes by handing her own to the carriers though, since she'd be losing her own and I'd rather not go for penguin imagery.
She probably wouldn't be able to just upgrade aircraft though, unless you mean swapping outdated aircraft for more up-to-date ones she has.
She can't build her own aircraft. Carriers can replenish lost aircraft by eating enough, but you won't be able to build them.Unicorn as a Carrier Tender could 'Swap Out' plane types with any other Carrier or those Equipped with Aircraft, learn them to build herself, then switch out with another?

Tenders can't provide full repairs. At best they'll patchwork a ship to stay functional until reaching a dedicated repair ship or drydock. And rebuilding a ship isn't something that you can really do at sea. As an aircraft repair ship, Unicorn has the ability to repair aircraft, as do any American carriers, but outright building new ones isn't possible outside of eating to replenish supplies.
Any carrier can swap their planes with another carrier, regardless of nation. Unicorn isn't a depot ship though, so she wouldn't be a chef (outside of as a character quirk not related to her ship self's abilities). But at base, as a Aircraft Carrier Tender/ Depot, they would be able to trade planes out from almost anyone and be a Chef? of sorts, able to cater to Carrier needs to cut down on the food bills?
In practice, any kind of Aircraft they get their hands on, they can Replenish, gaining a Blueprint.
Which they can then 'Swap Out' with another, so A IJN Shipgirl would be able to fly Royal Navy or American or vice versa?
If they do swap out, would the receiving Carrier be able to replenish the new additions?
That still sounds like a Pokemon Trainer in a way, traveling the Pacific and having an "Adventure!"
Wearing a Pith Helmet to keep the sun from bothering.

You can replenish any aircraft by eating so long as it's part of your air wing and has been shot down. Giving them to another shipgirl removes them from your air wing however.
You won't be starting with post-war things, nor will you likely be getting them very soon. Later upgrades won't be limited by what the real ship self had though. Everyone will have the option to upgrade/sidegrade/downgrade to whatever humans have managed to develop thus far.Wikipedia" said:On 4 December 1945, a Sea Vampire flown by Eric "Winkle" Brown made the first ever carrier landing of a purely jet-powered aircraft onto Ocean

On 3 April 1956, Elvis Presley appeared on The Milton Berle Show, shot onboard Hancock in San Diego, California.[15] According to TRENDEX, the precursor of Nielsen, the show was seen live by 18 million TV viewers. Hancock also appeared briefly in the movie "The Deer Hunter", depicting her role in Operation Frequent Wind.
Your fairies can't be from past WW2 either. What about Faries of those who were aboard afterwards till Scrapping or Sunk?
