    From one writer to another, I would definitely agree with the old maxim of brevity being the soul of wit. If you can do it in fewer words, sentences, and paragraphs? Do it.

    The latter. Your posts might be insightful, but composition is an important aspect of the writer's art. It helps to have knowledge of it.

    In my defense, part of it is because I'm writing for a broad audience that may not have familiarity with the same concepts that I have, and since this is a particularly sensitive topic right now, I felt it prudent to make my position as unambiguous as possible, with brevity being a bit of a cost.

    It's true I can be excessively loquacious, though. x_x
