Character Sheet (USS Massachusetts)

    USS Massachusetts (nicknamed "Big Mamie")​
    Appearance:
    I'll be going with the basic design for the USS Massachusetts from Azur Lane, but the major differences for Mamie are as follows:
    • Hair hangs straight down, no braid. Purple highlights.
    • Wears a dark gray blouse with a purple hibiscus pattern, and blue pants styled to look like jeans, but they've got those devilish faux pockets.
    • Outside of her normal wear, she loves sundresses-purple especially, but she'll wear almost any color.
    Personality:
    Mamie sees herself as a mother figure to those around her, and she's always quick to offer hugs, baked goods, and a shoulder to lean on.​
    Quirks:
    • Is incredibly quick to assume something is lewd.
    • She doesn't have a baking problem. She can stop whenever she wants. She just doesn't want to.
    Bio:
    Kyla remembers her name, that she was a doctor, and her love of baking, but other than that things are... fuzzy. Perhaps she'll remember more as time passes. Perhaps not. She certainly doesn't know.​

    The USS Massachusetts is credited as the US Navy ship to fire the first and last 16-in shells of World War II.

    I originally set out to type out her history, but honestly there's waaay too much to type out here. I got to about 7 paragraphs before realizing no one would read that much madness.

    The USS Massachusetts has a storied past, originally serving as the flagship of the group formed to support the invasion of North Africa. In the Pacific, she shelled Okinawa multiple times and participated in the attack on Iwo Jima.
    Over the course of the war, she received 11 battle stars, and no US Navy sailors or Marines were killed in action aboard her.​
    Likes:
    • Spending time with "the girls"
    • Sundresses
    • Pants
    • Cheesecake
    • The color purple (Kyla's favorite)
    Dislikes:
    • Brownies of all kinds, especially eggplant brownies (one of the few things Kyla remembers of her old life was being fed eggplant brownies... they were awful)

    Personality: Tries to put up a serious front, considering her new position (read tries).....but really is shy around new people. Likes reaching out to others, but also likes some alone time to relax as well, if she isn't on duty that is. Can be rather silly at times, mostly happy, but can end up sullen, or worse, let out her inner well of short tempered anger that she tries to keep a reign of, though only when she's truly pushed over the edge.

    And if she consider you a friend? Expect wisecracks, and overprotectiveness, all rolled into a furry package! :D

    Quirks: Might growl, oddly enough, when she's displeased. Heck she might even roar.

    Bio: Was just your average stay at home big brother, no college or uni for me. I expected life to be uneventful....but well. Seems life and Death had other plans... A ship? Really? How the heck does that work? And hot dang I'm a girl. Sure a very...pretty..girl, but a girl. Who was also part lion. What is even my life...

    History: History? Hah! How laughable. Whatever she has to call a history died with nothing more than a scrapped keel and her guns. She never got finished.

    But if there was anything to my name, it was my guns. Oh I love my guns. And my sword.
    And speaking of guns, I have these!

    Likes: Anime, Kamen Rider (that's still a thing right?), Ultraman, SWEETS, meat, durians, drawing, listening to music, adorable kids, reading books and fanfiction, and a good afternoon nap.

    Dislikes: Being useless, bullies of any kind, being forced to do things unnessicarily, war(Abyssals are fine, people? NO), the British Navy a sliiiiight bit.
