The threadmarks aren't backwards, but the 'Recent threadmarks' list is sorted with the most recent ones on top.

Fauri's name doesn't precisely mean anything; it's just a name, but it does allude to a lot of concepts. If you tried to "translate" it you'd get "Impatient little bird (of light)", or thereabouts. Which is, admittedly, the sort of name she might be a little put out by once she's older.

But then, Hana's name just means "Flower".

Sure.

She's not. >_>
Thank goodness that she is not. Anyway the scene that came to my mind starts with a song being played and the three towers sending vast amounts of energy to a designated, triangulated point where it is intercepted, combined, consented, and sent through a wormhole that the device created all the way to a specific point in the metroid universe. The vast amounts of energy is then intercepted, amplified, magnified, and then redirected by 2 to 5 fog ships into a device of presumed Chozo origin (I never got a good look at what the fog ships were redirecting the energy into, one of the fog ships is presumably Hana). The song used to do this is a variation of METHOD_HYMMELI/ or at least that song serves as a basis of concept. The strong earthy beats makes for an awesome scene.

Really no comment? I guess it wasn't that great after all.
You're describing a visual spectacle. It might work in an anime, but it has less purpose in fiction, and it's particularly unlikely to happen here -- you're missing some rather important elements of the world. Not elements we've spelled out, so I can't really explain.

(Also Einsig lives in Florida, and I haven't heard from him lately -- assuming he's busy with the hurricane aftermath.)

Well that is often how I see things. It is more like I am a watcher than a creator so what I write and see often comes out as scenes rather than paragraphs. Does leave a problem with descriptions as they can get quite lengthy. The scene does admittedly lack the context to give it meaning. It is true that I only really have surface level knowledge of the Exa_Pico universe, though I am facinated by their technology regardless.

I am currently dealing with lack of sleep, not hurricane damage.
So damage caused by the hurricane of sleep deprivation. Jokes aside, I hope that you can manage to rest.

It is a quite interesting place, yes. One can but hope that eventually it will be continued.
I certainly would like that, as long as they turn down the ecchi. There is a time and place for fanservice and that did bring the stories that they were trying to tell down quite a bit. I look at the dives and see missed potential. Instead of utilizing that concept to it's fullest potential, they wasted it on light novel antics. As someone who loves crossovers (to me they are gaint compare and contrasts) it does make me wonder what would happen if you tossed the trails of games, the towers from Ar Tonelico, and last Exile into the same world where they would have to interact. Of course it doesn't mean much if one doesn't have the writing capabilities to craft an excellent story from such a cross over.

I some times wonder if the ecchi was how they sold it as something that could sell to the publishers. There certainly are some other now more mainstream series that originally came from a bit more of that kind of background, like I believe the Fate series.

Perhaps but that was what was holding the franchise back, and it got so bad that even the Japanese fans had had enough.

Ahh I wouldn't know about what the fans there thought about it, but I see, an unfortunate outcome.
It did come back with Ciel no surge and Ar no surge years later. After that nothing. They thankfully toned down the Ecchiness a lot but the dives as far as I can tell are still being improperly used and some characters' outfits are very questionable. Seriously Prim you are supposed to be like 8. What are you doing wearing an outfit like that?
