As for decreased Waifu levels, I've got to ask you people; what is your end goal with Rebecca?

Marry her? Have a kid? Try a normal life? It might seem stupid for me asking, but I'm serious. I made this ship on accident, I don't know where this should be going.

You're the madmen who payed the ticket, I'm just the captain leading to your destination.

On Rebecca:

Marry: Sure, solidifying whatever relationship we've built with marriage a few years down the line sounds like a fairly logical thing to do.

Kiddo: Can she even have a kid with her body partially timelocked? Aside from that, I'd be happy to have us start a family with her, after Goldenboy's been dealt with. Before then I don't think she'd appreciate being knocked up while trying to do an ungodly amount of work.

Normal Life: I assume this is after Scion. Considering how Alex's Normal Life was going I'm going to have to say no. With great power comes great responsibility and all that, just because Goldenboy's dead doesn't mean there won't be huge numbers of people we could easily help out.

NOTHING!

My plan to Rebecca is nothing.

Hell, shipping as a whole could take the backseat.

We're trying to save the world here. That takes priority over personal feelings, as long as these personal feelings don't damage team cohesion.

We're good friends right now, and we can stay that way. No need to get into each other's pants or whatever.

I understand the anti-ship attitude, since it normally springs up on some flimsy ass pretense, but she's already expressed interest in the idea.

...Yes, because un-resolved romantic feelings will do wonders for our state of mind.

The ship already sailed, deal with it.

Just marry for now, everything else can wait.

I'm all for marriage with Rebecca, especially with how Alex seems to be the only one able to keep her from going off the deep end like in canon.

Regarding children, even if Rebecca's powers and responsibilities prevent it, they can always adopt like Legend and his partner did.

Come to think of it, I'm starting to wonder if Legend being the only Cauldron member with both a personal life and a fully functioning moral compass (post Hero's death) are connected.

Has it really sailed? Or are these simply your shipping goggles ? They're desperate people who bonded over their mutual situation, becoming best friends in the process.

Sadly, Rebecca herself does seem to have started developing feelings already, and Alex doesn't seem to be far from that himself. Had their sexualities been different they probably would have just settled for friends, but that's obviously not happening here.

I mean, we already had a precog call Alex her boyfriend. It's inevitable.

Just leave me to my delusions of a sea without ships.

One day, I will find you.

This is not that day.

Do the children of Cauldron Capes trigger like other second gen capes? Can a Cauldron Cape naturally trigger and gain even more power?

As you can probably tell, I don't remember much of worm canon.

Alexandria has time powers
Depends on your interpretation, actually. There are a few holes in that theory. Personally, I find the theory that Alexandria's flesh was replaced by SpaceWhaliumTM to be more accurate.

I mean, it explains how she can bleed, how she heals slowly, how she can be so durable Scion has to deliberately crush her skull off his hand, even after she died, etc...

IIRC, no to both. Their shards are dead, and you can't have 2 powers.

Her body being timelocked is the canon explanation...
Its a stretch to call them time powers as that implies some kind of conscious control sure, but that wasn't the point of the joke.

No. :V

Second gen capes come from "budding" I.E. A Shard essentially has a baby, and that baby Shard attaches to someone close to the original cape, that is capable of an appropriate trigger. It just so happens that children are often a good fit for budding.

But Eden Shards are dead, so no Shard babies.

Hate to move burden of proof around but as I can't for the immediate future can you be sure there wasn't a thing in the WoG repository?
Just looked through it, and couldn't find anything, aside from a bit that stated she slowed down then stopped aging.

Pretender notes her injuries don't heal and her body doesn't age, but that's not really proof about either theory. However, someone on Reddit noted that the Siberean popped after touching an object frozen by Clockblocker, unlike Alexandria where she went straight through.

Not really definite proof either way.

Yeah, I personally find it unlikely that Alexandria is time-locked, perhaps her Shard just holds her body together and doesn't allow it to break apart, or maybe she's made out of similar stuff to an Endbringer skeleton.

Regardless, it's all pretty much semantics.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you were dragged onto this ship kicking and screaming.

Completely slipped my mind, sorry about that.

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't plan for this at all.

1. You know Alex and Charles could use both their powers and make a really kickass ring right?:V

But sounds good for a start.

2. I will say it here, if you want to have a kid with her, there is little stopping you (Assuming you guys get to that point in a relationship). No matter what her powers do to her physically, there's little you can't do when you have Manton, Eidolon and Hero on speed dial.

That being said, timing would be everything.

3. A good idea, but remember:

...Yes, because un-resolved romantic feelings will do wonders for our state of mind.

Charles will gladly make a floating, flashing, song sining sign that reads:

Get a room!!

:V
Shipping has an end goal?

I mean... I hope it does.

IIRC, no to both. Their shards are dead, and you can't have 2 powers.

With only a few notable exceptions this is right. All Cauldron shards are dead and their passengers are just running off basic functions.

I don't know what I was expecting but that definitely wasn't it.

She's invulnerable to everything that doesn't break the laws of physics.

That is as far as I am willing to go in explaining that side of her power. I'm far more interested in the thinker and strength aspects, because those we can actually explain without throwing theories around.

So I'm keeping it simple.

AGG: Rise over on SB by Sage_Of_Eyes. We're currently on Thread 3: From the End with Love, and let's just say that at the level we're at, bad decisions have huge consequences, and we've made a few in a row. Normally we can deal with that, but bad rolls have kinda hit us right at the worst moment.

Good news is the quest makes very good practice for how we should make decisions here.

Against the case if the ship starts to sink?

...Yeah. That's exactly what I'm talking about.

The ship can't sink if everyone trying to sink it is cut into tiny little pieces and set on fire.

I'm sure I can prevent people from sinking the ship. I'm a very nice person, and really, sometimes a little bit of determination and earnest passion can go a long way.

And if the karma route fails, then you still have infamy to try.
