I'm glad that our character has the rare combination of complete honesty in everything they say, plus an innate sense of justice and a burning need to protect everybody, often to the detriment of their own safety.

Rebecca can read all of that clearly, which proves to her just how much of a bloody saint we are; We can say something ludicrously selfless which from another person would just be false bravado, yet she can tell with certainty that we truly mean it.

i just thought of something can he increase his and maybe Charles base strength and speed if he little by little increase the gravity of the area around base like a subtle full body training weights

Well, Alex is a very blunt guy. Mincing words and trying to sneak around the issue is a waste of time to him. The man who bashed level of thinking into him is talking to him right now.

So the next chapter is going to be a bit, mostly because I tried pumping out a chapter and an interlude in the same weekend. So while you guys might have to wait a few more days, you'll be getting two stories back to back.
