Back when we were voting for Take Morgana to the Shrine, I'm pretty sure DarkKing deliberately wanted to not warn Morgana about Koromaru. So using the premise "We don't want to attack Morgana's emotions directly" should have a lot more pragmatic reasoning attached.

Like for example, using Cruel Attack on Morgana could result in his Persona going wild. Overall though, it is a Terrible Idea social-wise, as it'll look bad if SEES found out. Especially as Ikutsuki would have a much easier way to get Ken to remove Shinjiro as a result.

There's a reason I didn't comment on the attacking Morgana part, even if I do find an outright attack too OOC for Ken to ever consider.

Because, as I stated previously, Ken is not someone that'd use his Persona abilities on something that isn't inanimate or a Shadow. And if ya don't want it to combine with your Dia training with Morgana vote, you can vote to train Cruel Attack alone.
But I want to combine Dia and Cruel Attack training, I just don't want Ken to emotionally attack Morgana. Ken and Morgana attacking each other to train to Dia not only makes sense, it's efficient. Dia only works on people who have been damaged, and since we both have Dia, why try to track down people who've been hurt and stealthily heal them, when Ken and Morgana can just beat the shit out of each other during the Dark Hour, heal, and repeat? There's no risk of long term damage, they'd only suffer pain and that's something there going to have to learn to power through if they want to fight Shadows, and they could both use the practice, it's win-win.

Edit: Put simply, I want to spar with Morgana.

...It sounds less like you want to spar with him and more you're aiming to kill him. Why the hell would we use something as destructive as Cruel Attack for a spar?

Except Cruel Attack would seriously injure if not One-Shot Morgana. Similarly, Lucky Punch or Miracle Punch have high crit chance, making it easy for Morgana to One-Shot Ken instead.

Really, the best approach would be just using Cruel Attack at all, as Physical Skills are cast from hit points. Aka, Ken can train Cruel Attack and Dia at the same time, without finding/making someone else hurt.

Though speaking of sparring, did Morgana's Ultimate Persona revert to Zorro or is it still Mercurius? His memory loss is different from Ken, but could just be he didn't pick the "Remember Lavenza" equivalent option.

Yeah, you guys are right. Cruel Attack is too killy for Ken to be using it on Morgana as they are now, and just firing it off and the two healing Ken would be better, but sparring is still a good idea to consider once we won't kill each other and have reliable means of regenning SP.

Edit: I also still stand by the subvote. Better safe than sorry, and we'd be really sorry if we did.

He refers solely to Zorro, and no way Morgana would be this much of a little bitch in any sense of the phrase if he had Mercurius.

Still, for all we know Morgana just keeps calling his Persona Zorro. We haven't seen his Persona activated yet, and Ken's Shadow clearly remembers he's suppose to be Kala-Nemi instead of Nemesis.

Really, we'll just have to wait and see I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if Morgana also experiences weird feelings too, like Ken does regarding Persona/Ultimate Persona.

Okay, it seems that you all understand that Ikutsuki cannot into birthday presents...

Now, just give me some time to decipher this...

The best part about everyone else being gone or packing, you decide, is that it means you can do things without really worrying about being overheard. Like somehow letting a cat in through your window, because you'd mentioned wanting to practice with your powers, and Morgana volunteered to help on the healing front.

You're still not sure how he got so many helium balloons, and thinking about it, you don't really want to know.

You have also, in the time since your last attempt at learning healing, remembered that using Physical Skills injures you, so you don't have to worry about finding random people and hoping they don't object to their wounds mysteriously vanishing. Which is, come to think of it, the kind of thing that would probably make the news if you were indiscriminate in your targets.

"Remind me again why we're practicing here," The cat asks you from where he's hiding beneath your bed. You hope he doesn't ask about the stick you keep there.

"Because doing it at the shrine would attract attention," You tell him.

"Yeah, I guess, but there'd be more space." That's fair, you suppose. You're still not moving, though. See, you've actually thought this through.

The last time you practiced Channeling in your room, you made the mistake of having your target be a piece of furniture that is expensive and that caused you some problems to do without.

This time, you have decided to fire your attacks out the window, where they shall harmlessly not hit anything. Not as good as having an actual target, but if it somehow manages to reach over and punch out a window across the street, it's not like anyone will be able to blame you for it.

It's not quite as perfect as having no risk to deal with at all, but it works, and that's all you need right now.

Just to be sure, you look down before you attack. Nobody on the street, at least that's close enough to pay attention to a random application of force. Perfect.

Morgana hops out of his hiding space to sit next to you. You assume that he wants to see how this is going to go. That's fine. You're fine with this. It's not like you're using something that could have fatal repercussions if you messed around with it... oh, wait.

"Careful," You warn him. "This isn't a fun attack to get hit by." He backs off a little, and you guess that's going to have to be enough. Now, you reach out the window... and attack.

...Nothing really visible happens, but you feel the telltale stinging sensation that means the attack went off. And nothing seems to be broken, so you think you have a method now.

"That... that was pretty powerful," Morgana states, eyes wider than they probably should be. "How did you do that?"

"I don't know, that's what I'm trying to figure out," You explain, casting Dia on yourself. You feel like you'll be doing that a lot. That's... actually why you have Morgana here, honestly, more than the practicing healing yourself. He can tell you if you get anything wrong. "Do you have any ideas?"

"It's your powers, why should I have to understand them?" Okay, fair enough. "But the attack... it seemed to be... looking for something?"

"...It's an attack. What would it be looking for?"

"How should I know? I've never analyzed this kind of attack before!" Right, something to get help with from Kirijo-san. Maybe she'll have seen something like this at some point or another.

Still, this revelation understandably puts you off of practice for the day, and then Morgana ends up leaving early because someone else thinks they heard the sound of meowing. Which they probably did.

...You need to work on your stealth skills.

You decide that you want to visit Maiko today. You're not sure why, but it feels like a good idea. So you head over towards the Oohashi residence, figuring that you'll ask if she's free and, if she's not, you'll find something else to do.

Not that you get that far, or anything. "Amada-senpai!" You're almost surprised to see her running up towards you, but not really. You're close enough to where she lives for this to be normal, it's just that you've been in this general area like... five times before, and you've never really paid much attention to the people or anything. "It's good to see you. I-" She cuts herself off.

"...Oohashi-chan? Is something wrong?"

"N-No. Not really. Just... Mommy and Daddy were upset this morning. And... when I asked them what the problem was, they said to leave. I... don't really know what to do today... Do you have any ideas, Amada-senpai?"

"Well, we could go to the shrine..." Like usual. Not that you have any better ideas, or anything.

"But we always do that. I want to do something else." Right, you need to think up a better idea.

Running off with Maiko probably isn't the best idea, so let's stick nearby, in case her parents come looking.

I've been holding out hope we can get the Phantom Thief Maiko option, so let's actually introduce her to other Persona Users!

Personally, I'd rather not have her get mind whammied by Mitsuru thank you very much.

That's a pretty good point. That, and the poor girl could get trauma if Shinji got another panic attack anywhere near her...

Seems like the best idea. Sitting in out dorm will be boring, and might get us into trouble we don't need. Check ^^^ for why no going to SEES. We shouldn't show her powers, unless we intend to fully involve her in the whole Persona world. Insisting on going to shrine is just a dick move. And when Maiko's parents stop arguing and realize that they have basically thrown a grade schooler that might be feeling pretty upset out of their house without any supervision, they are gonna panic and start searching for her all over the city (unless they don't deserve to be called parents, but they didn't really seem abusive when we met them), so let's make it easier for them by staying close.

This might be the first time it happens, but it certaintly won't be the last. Something similar happens in her SL where Door-kun tells her parents off for scaring her away.

Still want the Phantom Thief Maiko route, which is something we'll likely have to work for. Besides, this way we can have Maiko list off cool tricks to try, that everyone else would of completely overlooked due to their seriousness and pragmatism regarding their powers.

Issue, we didn't exactly acknowledge it as our own.

Also, I don't feel comfortable using such attacks around Maiko for her own safety.

Also also, I'd like at least one friend that's relatively normal.

It does specify less dangerous, so presumably at most Zio and Card Scapel. Besides, Ken is hardly a normal kid even when he hides his magical superpowers. Really, I just want to secure Phantom Thief Maiko as a viable option down the line.

That, and normalcy is all about being weird & unique. Being boring and mundane does not equal normal. Plus, Maiko is gonna feel betrayed if she has to find out on her own or from somebody else.

True, she'd probably be hurt. But regardless, I'd rather come out with everything at once than just show her magic powers. Things start to get concerning there.
