When Ann Takamaki was eleven years old, she found a book about people who had powers that they called Personas.
Go, Ken, go!
She and Shiho had been shopping around for high schools, and then outside of one of them, there was a boy with brown hair, who was talking to a group of girls she'd never seen before, with a cat sitting at their feet. For some reason, he made Carmen nervous.
Protagonist powers in play?

[x] Or you could just Frost Link the FOE.

We do this efficiently. And stuffs.

Also, damn... that Ann POV. Hng, my heart. Then again, it seems more or less logical, given the way that not all the changes that Ken makes in this timeline would be for the better. Even if it's unlikely to happen given our propensity for barging into personal problems with a sledgehammer.

Okay, time to actually fight the FOE!

Really, though, it says something that there's a random encounter in the Labyrinth that's overall harder for me to fight.

Group Date Cafe- Part 10
"I'll do it," You say, clutching your spear tightly. You aren't too good about using it in proper combat, but as a focus to direct Frost Link... you think you can manage that much. "I think I'd... be able to get a better start than the others, sort of."

"That's right," Yukari-san realizes. "You've got those Link skills, haven't you?" The way she says them, it's as if the whole Link phenomenon is a foreign concept to her. Not that you'd had much chance to test out Psystrike Link in battle before you got here, but... you wonder if she even realizes that it's a proper part of your skillset.

Still, you're sure she'll get used to it eventually. After all, it's not like it's ever going to go away.

"...Are you sure about this?" Narukami-san, meanwhile, remains hesitant, for some reason. "You're probably going to be the first person it notices."

You nod. "I just need to get back to everyone as fast as possible, don't I?" And if it somehow doesn't follow you... That just means lots of free attacks. "And it'll probably take a while for it to be able to turn right." You'll be attacking from behind, after all. That generally takes some time to be able to react to.

Whether it's enough time to make your way back to the others... you're a bit less certain about that. But if you let on that you have doubts, you just know that Narukami-san will never agree to this.

"...All right, then." You wonder why, despite how he seems to trust you, he's so hesitant about letting you fight. It's not like you've ever been falling behind the others.

...Still. That's something to wonder about some other time. For now, you have a fight to start.

When you think about it, it's actually really simple. How quickly the FOE moves around depends on how quickly you move. No matter how many tiles you cross, it only rotates once for every individual step you take. So you can either take long strides, and let it move slowly, or speed up the rotation by awkwardly shuffling your way forward.

You much prefer the first option. It's a lot less nerve-wracking. It's also less likely to make you sick by forcing you to stare at a rapidly-spinning thing made of gold. But sometimes you need the second, if only so that, once you get to where you want to go, the FOE isn't staring right at you. You think that'd just be more trouble than it's worth.

Somehow, though, you get there, and in seconds you have your Evoker out. "Yaksini!" You call, still eliciting exactly no reaction from the Shadow in front of you. You're starting to wonder if it might be deaf. "Frost Link!"

There's definitely a reaction once your attack hits, though. For a moment, you freeze, surprised that you actually managed to get this far.

Then you remember that you were probably supposed to be doing something else.

[ ] You should... get back to everyone else as quickly as you can.

[ ] You should... keep attacking, since you sort of have the advantage here.

[ ] You should... see about getting out of the FOE's line of sight, you think that might be sort of important.

Now, to try and get away from the FOE.

Probably a good idea. Just because I decided it'd be easier just to fight them doesn't mean it's the safest choice for everybody.

Group Date Cafe- Part 11
As the FOE starts to turn in your direction, your immediate thought is to scramble away as quickly as your legs can take you.

As you're short, this turns out to be not very fast. But it's still something, and you hurry towards the others, as they also move in your direction, meeting just in time for an arrow to narrowly miss your head and embed itself in the tile. That there's no cracks in the floor you attribute to how this place doesn't necessarily have to follow the laws of physics- case in point, the chains in the sky. Assuming that that can even be called a sky.

...Great. Now you've got another thing to never stop questioning.

"Artemisia!" Despite the power of your opponent, Mitsuru-san manages to keep her composure. "Bufula!"

A jagged icicle falls on the FOE, followed by a return of the chilly power of your Frost Link. Your opponent seems to be more than mildly inconvenienced by the force of the attack, so you suppose that points to the battle being, at the very least, winnable.

Satonaka-san and Teddie-san are quick to follow up with their own ice attacks, but neither are as quick on the draw as Zen. His attack manages to benefit from your Frost Link, though the power fades away before the other two are able to take advantage of it.

The ice users are quickly followed by the ones who enjoy setting things on fire. Given how none of you bothered to work out turns or anything, you think this is going rather well.

The FOE is now properly in a position to fight back instead of just firing arrows and hoping they hit. It's hurt, but not so badly that its pain is visible.

It's about now that you realize how long this fight is probably going to be.

[ ] Frost Link again.

[ ] Hold back and see if anyone needs healing at any point.

[ ] Just focus on avoiding the FOE's attention.

[X] Frost Link again.

We have other healers in our team, we should focus of frosting this guy.
