And now the next step to making P5 unrecognizable.

Really, a lot of the initial plot is probably going to be reworked just due to people actually knowing what they're doing, almost. Or, at least, not going into things completely blind.

Light
"I could show you, if you'd like." It's probably not something you should be offering to a kid you only know through explorations of an otherworldly library but then again, what better way to ensure your powers will be well received?

Isshiki-chan's gaze rests firmly on you. "Do it, then," She challenges.

In return, you simply smile, reach out your hand, and create a small, softly glowing ball of light. "It's a bit dangerous for you to touch, but this is a spell called Kouha. It's Bless-type magic." The light illuminates your friends' faces, and presumably your own, as well. Isshiki-chan's eyes are perfectly hidden by the faint glare off of her glasses.

"How do you do it?" She breathes, quietly, as though not even you are meant to hear her words, despite how she's asking you.

You shrug, because you never really got a good explanation for it yourself. "It's... A friend told me, once, that magic is something that comes from the heart." If only Lavenza were here now. She'd be a lot better at telling people about this than you are. "I dunno what decides who can use it or not."
I'm not sure there's any real reason to it at all. Usually, someone's just in the right place at the right time, and a Persona happens.
"That''s not the only thing he can do, either," Maiko adds, not managing to keep her voice down quite as well as the rest of you. Her excitement is almost tangible, even when she has barely any kind of involvement in these things. "We told you about the healing, right? And the lightning powers?"

"I'm not going to demonstrate Zio right here." Honestly, that just... wouldn't have any options for being subtle at all. This whole thing might not be an official secret, but it's not like you're going to go yelling it from the rooftops or anything. "I don't want to shock anybody." Metaphorically or literally.

Isshiki-chan looks as if she's discovered a new and fascinating thing to research. "Can you control heat energy as well?" She asks, her voice getting a little louder, but not nearly enough to draw more attention than you'd had already.

You shake your head. "I know a few people who can use Fire magic, but I can't use it myself. And Mitsuru-san can make things colder, though I'm not sure if that counts..." That's another thing to question at some point, you suppose. "Makoto-san can use any kind of magic, because he's something called a Wild Card. But he hasn't tried learning it yet, so he wants me to try and teach him." Never mind that he's about six years older than you.

You still don't voice the suspicion that he's just trying to make you forget that tomorrow's the twenty-fourth. You aren't sure you ever told the others about when your birthday is, but if you haven't mentioned it before now, this probably isn't the best time to bring it up.

"Have you ever taught someone to use magic before?" Akira's question draws you back to reality enough to remember to extinguish your ball of burning light before you an accidentally throw it at somebody.

You shake your head. "Everyone else has either been doing this longer than me, or uses a different kind of magic. I can probably teach Bless magic, but if Makoto-san wanted to learn Lightning, he'd actually be better off going to Akihiko-san. But this is the first time he's asked anyone." And you want to get this right. If only to prove that yes, there is a reason for you to be here, only just about to turn eleven or not.

If only you had some idea how to start...

[ ] The basic attack comes first. Better Makoto-san can defend himself if something catches him without an Evoker, right?

[ ] Balls of light are simple. There's also less risk of collateral damage.

[ ] You'll just mess around with magic together and see what works. Potentially dangerous, but also really fun.

-[x] Maybe pick a place where any potential collateral damage will be minimal.

I know it's not going to win, but part of me just wants to see the two of them enjoying having magic just for the sake of having it.

This is relevant to my secret plan of "Let's change the P3 ending by finding a way to remove Despair, instead of sealing it with some desperate dude". I should probably talk more about my secret plan.

My understanding is that it's a bit late for that, mainly thanks to Grandpa Kirijo fucking everyone over when he kickstarted the fall. The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate; extended materials note that the Fall likely would've come at some point even if Death hadn't been formed by the Kirijos, on account of the buffer from the divine not being as present as the past.

I'd like to remind you that Door-Kun is not all of humanity.

You know, Maki's Persona 5 counterpart had a good idea on removing despair. I think Akira might have been against it though...

Door-kun ∈ All of humanity. And/or all of Door-kun is humanity.

That's... Probably a good catch. Instead of "removing" despair my secret plan is now about acknowledging despair and neutralizing it with hope, instead of with some hopeless dude.

All right... I can think now. Everything's fine.

The first step: See if Makoto can get anything to work at all when Curse is one of his main elements.
