Well, you don't know exactly how it all started in reality, but Kirijo-san is kind of friends with Sanada-san and Shinjiro-san, isn't she? So you should probably reflect that in your writing.
Maybe you could even make them a bit closer than they actually are? It would be nice, maybe, to show them how you sort of hope you can all get along, one day. Not that that day's likely to come anytime soon, but details.
Grinning, you flip to a new page in your notebook and get to work.
"Hey, Yuki, are you feeling okay?" Akari Tsubaki asked. Yukinari sighed.
"I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well last night, that's all." Nobody deserved to know of the horrors that the Metaverse could inflict, upon someone who stumbled there. Even if he did sometimes wish he could tell his friends... well, he knew, the rest of the time, that it wasn't a good idea. Akari was the sort of person who charged into danger at the slightest provocation.
"You know that's not healthy, right?" Akari's twin sister, Shinri, pointed out. Of the two, Shinri was easily the more reasonable one, to a point. Yukinari had no idea what had happened when the girl had vanished for a few months half a year ago, but she'd eventually come back, never saying a word about what she'd been doing but that her little sister had found her and knocked some sense into her.
Akari, of course, had protested being called the 'little sister' when the two of them were born less than forty-five minutes apart, which led to a lighthearted argument, and the topic was dropped. She never said anything about where Shinri had been, either.
Yukinari didn't ask further. He wasn't entirely sure that he wanted to know. The two of them had gotten themselves into trouble several times in the past, and that didn't seem like it was likely to change anytime soon.
He feared for his sanity if they ever ended up in the Metaverse. Well, more than Ulysses usually made him question it, anyway.
"I promise, I will be perfectly fine. More than the two of you will be once Sensei sees you haven't been studying, anyway."
Yeah, this should work just fine. It's not perfect, but you weren't exactly aiming for perfect, anyway. You've introduced the characters of Akari and Shinri, established that they are Yukinari's friends, and hinted as to Shinri hiding out in the Metaverse for a few months.
Figuring out where on the timeline to put that part was actually the hardest bit, but if it's farther in the past, it makes more sense that she and Merlin wouldn't have met before... you think.
Look, you still don't think you're all that good at this, but you've made good progress, today, and that's the important part.
You think you'll refine all of this for a bit before showing it to anyone. Actually, you should probably finish your plot outline first. All you've got is a mix of characters and possible events. Sorting it out will take a while, but you don't exactly have anything better to do today.
You might as well get to work.
On Thursday, you spend a good portion of the afternoon studying and talking with Maiko and Akira. Nothing major really happens, nobody says anything all that important, and you head home glad that life finally seems to have settled down a bit.
You get there just in time to see Kirijo-san parking a new motorcycle by the side of the dorm. She seems to notice your approach- though you can't tell if it's through her Persona or something else- and immediately greets you.
"Amada-kun. How has your day been?" She sounds happier than you've ever heard her before. You think that's a good thing, but you're a little preoccupied by the fact that she has a motorcycle now.
Right, it's May eighth... how did I miss that?
"It- it was fine." Honestly, she never gave the impression of being the kind of person who liked this sort of thing. She just seems too... level-headed? You guess that's as good a way to put it as any.
"...I assume you're wondering about the bike?" You nod, unsure if you really need to say anything else. "Father had it sent to me for my birthday today. It has been modified to work in the Dark Hour, as well as being sturdy enough to carry my scanning equipment."
Okay, when she puts it like that, it makes sense, but you still think she enjoys having it a bit too much to be simple practicality.
[ ] Tell her as much- you're glad she's having fun. (+Expression)
[ ] ...She's going to mow down Shadows with that thing, isn't she?
[ ] "Wait, today's your birthday?" (+Empathy)
