You recognize that, even if you don't do anything about the matter yourself, Kirijo-san will probably decide to try and meet with Morgana on her own. You also understand that Kirijo-san isn't all that great with social situations, and probably shouldn't be left to approach them by herself.
You're hoping she'll learn eventually, but... Meeting an experienced Persona User outside of her own group for the first time may not be the best place for that.
So you should probably be there when the two of them meet. If only to avoid sudden blizzards in the middle of spring. That might attract some attention.
Yeah, people around here probably aren't used to it yet. Give it another five years or so.
The next time you and Kirijo-san talk without Sanada-san and Shinjiro-san around, you ask her. "So, do you want to meet that friend I told you about? Morgana?" You don't mention him being a cat or anything, because the security camera is right there, and the last thing you need is for whoever reviews those to start thinking you're insane.
Even if they wouldn't be the only ones questioning your sanity, sometimes.
"That... would probably be helpful, yes," She agrees, looking up from the book on communication skills. You're not sure, but you think Sanada-san might have just skimmed it. Which isn't exactly what you gave it to him for.
As long as he's read the section on how to defuse fights before they happen, it should be enough to get him through high school. Or maybe he could just figure out how to take a hint. Either one, really.
At the same time, though... it's Sanada-san. Even skimming would be enough for him to pick up something useful.
"Right, so, I should probably be there when you meet him, just to make sure it doesn't go... badly." By which you mean that you don't want innocent bystanders to have to deal with her constantly exuding cold, but you're not going to mention that part out loud.
You're pretty sure Kirijo-san can tell what your misgivings are without you having to say it, anyway. She seems to be aware of how her preferences in temperature differ from most people.
Either way, she doesn't protest your decision, which means that all you have to do is visit the shrine on a day that Morgana is there and try to get him to talk to you.
Why does that sound so much harder than it should?
Thankfully, there are no major difficulties in ensuring that the three of you are all at the shrine at the same time. Morgana is there the first time you decide to check and see if he is, curled up in a sunny spot like he usually is.
"Morgana!" You greet him. He looks up you, huffs, and closes his eyes again.
Thankfully, you came prepared. "I brought snacks!"
You're pretty sure most people in your school wouldn't expect you to be buying cat treats, even if they had seen you with Morgana all those months ago, but you want him to at least be open to discussion. And while he still insists, from time to time, that he's not a cat, you're pretty sure that he won't turn these down.
...Of course, you may have bought a few too many, and anyone who looks under your bed is going to be really confused, but... it's probably better than not having a large enough bribe. Maybe.
I mean, it was this or sushi, and I don't think that's what Mitsuru-san had in mind when she gave us that allowance.
Look, it's already been established that you don't know how cats work. Let alone time-traveling cats who insist that they aren't cats despite all evidence to the contrary, such as the fact that they were chasing a laser pointer at the time. If the treats hadn't worked, you were going to try and emulate that with Kouha.
I'm glad it didn't come down to that, though. I wouldn't want to scare Koromaru.
Thankfully, you don't have to resort to that, as he actually sits up. "What kind of snacks?"
You take the treats you brought with you out, and he ventures over to sniff at them. "Not bad... I guess." You'll take that as glowing admiration.
...Sanada-san is the only other Persona User you know who is generally open to others, and he still has no clue how to talk to people. You aren't really sure how that happened, but you don't think it's a good thing.
"So, um..." Okay, you're not really sure how to get this started, but at least you aren't as blunt as some people. "I- well, I thought that, since you and Kirijo-san know about each other, it might be a good idea for you to meet in person?" You still aren't sure that's the best way you could have put it, but there's no taking it back now, and it's true, so there's no real reason to want to.
"So, you're the one who reads minds?" Okay, you're not really sure why you bother...
"And you're a talking cat."
"I. Am not. A cat."
"Well, in that case, what are you?" ...You honestly can't believe you never thought to ask that. Probably because Morgana acts so much like a cat that there's barely any difference.
"I am- I-" Morgana keeps trying to speak, but nothing really comes out. "I- I know this, really, but-"
