*Kill la Kill intensifies*
I really hope not. KLK execution turned into a myriad of plot devices for things to happen.
Time for another amazing Genjuurou training montage! :D
i dont think that its gonna cut it. Even since season 1, Hibiki's character type never really changed or was ever challenged: Characters were redemnable and had their own reasons.

So up against characters that have no reason to be "good", wanton destruction for doom 2hu loli... yeah, Hibiki's gotta find something to fight for than just "saving the world"

Blue is best doll.

And yeaaahhh, Hibiki is kinda coming across as useless right about now. People are dead in front of her, her friends are right there. She still refuses to fight. A symphogear cannot save anyone if you never use it. You can fight to protect people, while Hibiki seems set on the idea that you can fight, or you can protect people and work things out between them, but not both.

Which is especially jarring when she has fought people and still managed to protect people while doing so, and that she has made understandings with people she has fought.

Also I greatly approve of the abuse of mod powers in the tagging segment.
Keep in mind that Hibiki has ALWAYS been super reluctant to fight other humans. She made a big deal about that in season 1 with Chris, and even then, all she actually did was a single punch.

Rewatch episode 2 of G. All Hibiki does in that fight is:
1. Dive out of a helicopter to save Tsubasa.
2. Stand around trying to talk while under attack, forcing Tsubasa and Chris to block attacks for her.
3. Use that combined zesshou against the Noise after the FIS girls leave.

To be entirely honest I don't think I've seen beef stroganoff in any anime or manga. I've seen borscht, but not stroganoff. The way they were talking about it - it's really easy! you can make it with anything! russian cuisine is really versatile - made it sound like they were being sponsored by some stroganoff industry group.

I'm surprised that such a small industry has such a powerful lobby.

Stroganoff's russian?

Huh.

(It is pretty easy to make, yes, speaking from personal experience)

And it'll get even realer when Hibiki upgrades her Rocket Punch to a DRILL ROCKET PUNCH :D

Or when Bikkie has Gungir lodged in her chest thanks to how Micha hit her.

Again.

Blue continues to be best doll, and the hype was real in the livewatch.

Well, caught up on the last two episodes....
Beef Stroganoff song came out of nowhere but was hilarious.

Didn't expect Kirika and Shirabe to come out of nowhere without using LiNKER, but I suppose that it's good to know they technically can use it without the drug even if it hurts to do so. Now I suppose it's just a matter of finding out if Miku can do the same thing. And with what Maria does later, it returns some of the drama that the finishing move songs lost

And meanwhile, so before they nearly blew up the moon, and now the plan is to cut the earth into tiny bits or something like that? Sometimes I question these villainous plans.

Not surprised with Maria using Gungnir, though I question how she and Ogawa got there that fast when they were underwater in a submarine like minutes before.

Overall, the hype is real and shit is serious, Hibiki getting her fighting spirit back just in time to get shot down, and now we have two Symphogear users that no one actually wants to fight. Here's hoping that double prong sword can do the trick, and what the cost will be for making it.

Oh, and Blue is best Doll

So, taking bets on how likely it is that the cartdrige system Project Ignite is going to be part of Carols plan?

As fragments of a suspiciously cursed looking weapon that are being delivered to them by a creation of Carol who does specifically say that she was given her knowledge from Carol.

As for Hibiki and her determination, I'd peg it as her issues never actually being addressed in G. That, and / or the disaster relief duty has got her used to the more standard way of helping people, and so she's latched onto that way of helping people.

The main part is that for whatever reasons, she has latched onto the idea that helping people and understanding your enemies and fighting are mutually exclusive, when it is possible to help people via fisting, and that fighting doesn't stop you from reaching understandings with people.

The latter part is rather irritating as it does come across as her forgetting the last two sessions when she fought people and was still able to understand them. That is probably part of the problem with her undetermination to fist; both previous times she has been able to befriend people; she's no needed to properly fist people yet.

Still, she seemed to have it back, so with luck we will get punchbikkie back again after she stops being catatonic.

Thanks.

Though I'll admit I'm a bit confused as to how she lost it in the first place beyond 'I don't want to punch human beings'. But that's pobably more my fault than anything, since I haven't seen G recently.
Actually, that refusal to fight is consistent with both of the first two seasons. Take a look back at her confrontations with Chris in season 2 and episode 2 of G.

I was referring more to why Gungnir flat didn't work in Episode 3, as opposed to her reluctance to fight human beings. But Sightedjt's explanation makes sense.

So how cool was Maria this episode? After a serious comeback performance after basically being kind of boring for most of G, she really busted it out when she punched through a noise to grab her spear out of the ground.

Micha also proved to be as entertaining as the other Autoscorers. I'm looking forward to Carol revealing that Elfnein was just an elaborate ploy, too :V

Also, Maria basically walked off getting JAMMED.

I could practically hear her popularity bar filling up as the scene went on.

Maria's gotten significantly more awesome in this season so far, and she doesn't even have her own relic yet!
