Semper Ad Meliora (Code Geass/Britannian Royalty Quest)

"Ominous" and "Chinese" doesn't give us much to go on at this point, since we don't have much of a plan for what we're even doing with Diplomacy in the long run. Perhaps an old friend of our Covert Ops Commander?

Xing Ke doesn't seem the type to get involved in a translation seminar with a royal Britannian brat.

I'm holding out hope that Euphemia has spent her time learning a bunch of languages. She then flexes that outside of Britannia people love her because she's actually a good person.

It's kinda weird, but in a good way. The characters are zany but the babbling about morality can get a bit much imo.
I read it a while back, too, so memory is a bit fuzzy.
It's like if someone took Bender saying "I say the whole world must learn of our peaceful ways... BY FORCE!" seriously and made a manga.

Okay I got to ask. Why do people do these 'Insert Persons Name' posts? I've never seen any other thread us them so often/consecutively and IMO they really aren't funny.

Oh, it's a vote for whatever that user voted for, good for really long votes.
The tallying system should have an option to enable/disable that, so check it out!

Kaguya: This could be an outside chance, but I do happen to be good friends with Jiang Lihua.

Milly: Alternatively? Its Milly time! :ogles:
If you're talking about what Trickster is in the habit of doing, as quoted above, it's something along the basis of: "I had a funny idea for an omake, but don't want to develop it past a short blurb, so here's raw dialogue." Or "Here's something funny the characters themselves would say if they could see the thread."

They're a feature of forum life and come in good and bad forms. If they're not your thing, I'd advise just ignoring them.
That's just Trickster Priest's schtick.
Also this.

Out of curiosity what Barony was Kallen appointed to? Also where is Milly's families... duchy? Ashfordshire? Up by Ashford, Washington? Or maybe down in San Diego? Connecticut? I was thinking of writing up an omake and it might be relevant. I know that their companies factories, buildings and assets could be anywhere but I was curious where their family home is.

I considered Westhaven to be on the west coast, probably around Seattle or something. Just headcanon in my head.

Ashfordshire I'd place probably on a large plot of otherwise sparsely populated land near the rockies in the forested northwest. In my mind it's some kind of actual castle-turned manor that the family built way back when to show off and has a lot of weirdly medieval architecture. Her parents hate the place and prefer a New York penthouse or something. Milly loves it and tries to stay there where her parents will leave her alone. Her grandfather usually lives near his corporate headquarters, but spends some time there as well.

... Milly runs a haunted house at the family castle every Halloween doesn't she?

Huh, I thought the Ashfords controlled the duchy of New York?

That's probably fanon. Code Geass has a bit of a reputation of having fanon interpretations overpower canon, due in no small part to the inconsistencies of the anime, or the R2 changes.

For example, we all have a picture in our minds what Kallen's father is like right? Yeah he never appears once in the anime. Literally all we see of Kallen's family besides her mother is her step-mother for about 12 seconds. That's it

Indeed, I had to do some serious digging for the pic I used for Kallen's dad. He isn't even given a name in canon, much less an appearance in the content itself. So, Isacc Stadtfeld was born!

Every Son of Heaven and Daughter of the Earth shall know of your virtue before ever you meet.

No safe harbor shall turn you away lest it be cast in fire, no tongue shall curse your name lest it be torn out, no house refuse you entry lest its people be put to the sword.

This is so hammy, I'd expect clovis.

Except I doubt the man would ever work enough to learn another language.
