Well, the truth is *SPOILERS*. Unfortunately, they never actually bothered to ask *SPOILERS*, so they just wasted a month when they could have just *SPOILERS*. Fortunately, they actually told Louise and Saito where they were going before they left, so the Pope knows where they're trying to get to. In conjunction with *SPOILERS*, it should be possible for them to get back.

Or they could try to walk back.

I get the feeling that the tournament is Yu-Gi-Oh! Probably Battle City.

Festival might be Negima (we might be able to get Chamo to forge us a Pactio with Tiffannia, but we don't know if she trusts us enough for it to work, and also Ryouga is shy around women).

Part 34 - Back to Nerima
You're in Nerima! And there's the Tendo Dojo! You take a step toward it, only to force yourself to stop. That's not what you're here for. Getting Siesta's memory back takes priority.

You can stop by and kick Ranma around some later.

You turn to Siesta and Tiffania. "Hold on a minute. I need to check something." You jump to a nearby rooftop and hear a gasp from Siesta. That's happened more than a few times on your trip, so you ignore it. Looking around, you think you spot it in the distance. It would take all of about a minute to roof hop your way there, but with Tiffania and Siesta, that's not an option. Looks like you'll have to brave the streets of Nerima.

THUMP

The building you're on shakes a little. You turn and spot Siesta laying on the ground next to the wall of the building, rubbing her nose. 'Did she just try to jump up to the roof?'

As the maid groans in pain, Tiffania runs up to her. "Siesta, are you okay?"

"Fine, fine," replies the maid. Or maybe she said "I'm fine." It's hard to tell with her clutching her nose like that.

You hop back down and check her for injuries. Her nose doesn't appear to be broken, or even bleeding. Lucky, considering that she just jumped face-first into a brick wall while wearing a heavy pack. "You should probably work on your leg strength before you start trying to roof hop," you say.

"Got it," the maid grumbles in response, still clutching her nose.

"Anyways, the good news is we're almost there," you say.

"We are?" asks Tiffania in surprise.

"Yeah. We're in the right district and everything."

Tiffania pauses. "I can actually understand what people are saying again!" she says. In completely unaccented Japanese.

"Wait, when did you learn Japanese?" you ask. Siesta was the only one you were teaching Japanese, and that was because she needed to know it to understand what you were saying.

"When we made the contract," she replies.

"But that only let us understand..." you trail off. "Can I speak Halkeginian?" you ask. In the language they were speaking in Halkeginia. "...This would have been useful information to know about a month ago," you mutter to yourself, feeling rather stupid.

You hop up to yet another roof. Unfortunately, navigating the streets of Nerima is much more difficult than roof hopping, especially when the one who keeps checking where the Nekohanten is has a curse to make him get lost. However, you're the only one with the leg strength to actually make it up onto rooftops, so-

THUMP

You wish Siesta would stop doing that. She's going to hurt herself. You turn toward the edge of the roof to check on the maid, only to spot a pair of hands clinging to it. They're promptly followed by a head, then a foot as the maid swings her leg up over the ledge. Within seconds, Siesta hauls herself up. "I DID IT!" she cheers, only to nearly fall off the roof.

"Careful!" you say, grabbing one of her flailing arms and pulling her back up. You notice that she ditched the pack she'd been wearing on the ground next to Tiffania. That's probably why she was actually able to make the jump this time.

"Ah, thanks," says the maid. She then looks around. "Okay, where is this Nekohanten place?"

You point it out.

"...Ryouga, that's just down the block and to the left. We must have passed it like three times already."

"Are you sure?" you ask. You think you'd have noticed it if you passed it.

"...Just let me lead."

The three of you stroll into the Nekohanten. Shampoo, who is serving a customer, looks up at the door with excitement, only for it to die on her face when she spots you. "Oh, is just stupid lost boy," she says as she sets the customer's ramen before him.

The girls eyes slide over to Siesta with visible curiosity. "And maid girl?" Then she spots Tiffania, and something in her eyes changes. "ELF!" she cries with a snarl. She then launches herself at Tiffania, a dao and a single chui suddenly in her hands.
It barely registers that she said 'elf' in Halkeginian.

[X] Bop her on the head with the umbrella.
Let's see if she makes the funny face with googly eyes and tongue poking out, thumb, forefinger and pinky extended.
Comedic violence FTW.

[X] STOP HER!

--[X] Barehanded
---[X] "Honestly, Tiff is a half-elf, very kind girl and void mage as well!"

If the Amazons came from Halkegenia originally - like I now suspect - this should give pause at least to Collogne so she will not attack.

Mini omake:

Old Amazon's Legend

...And so the Tribe was forced to leave the Holly Land and seek new home. They found a half-orc guide, who 'have been everywhere' - or he at least claimed it. For weeks they wandered through wilderness before they came to land called Jusenkyo. They wanted to continue to find other Tribes who got ahead of them, but the guide claimed, that he need to resupply from the locals and wandered of never to be seen again. And so the Tribe stayed in Jusenkyo living in the strange land with one Moon ...

Guess who's ancestor the half-orc was?

[?] "Look, Ranma!"
-[?] Deck her from behind when she looks.

While this would've been hilarious, y'all are channeling Ranma with this. Ryouga-style is:

[X] STOP HER!
-[X] Parry!
--[X] Umbrella

[X] "Look, Ranma!"
-[X] Deck her from behind when she looks.

This might not be Ryouga's style but he can be clever sometime....right?

His cleverness tends towards using the environment or items in his fights. Soap, bannana peels, giant ice blocks. This is Ryouga, we don't need cleverness here. Grab her head or something.

Ryouga does occasionally resort to trickery, such as when he and Mousse pulled the "look, breasts" ploy on Herb and Lime, then cracked them over the head with boulders, but brute force is his modus operandi.

To be fair, that occasion was probably mostly Mousse. That guy never had any qualms with underhanded techniques; in fact, that's the basis of his whole fighting style!

It may be my bias talking, but in my mind this sort of situation Ryouga would default to his behavior in the Moxibustion/Hiryuu Shouten Ha arc.

There's also things like the banana peel he mentioned pulling on Ranma, but for every instance Ryouga resorts to trickery, there's over a dozen instances where he doesn't.

I thought that move Mousse and Ryouga using on Herb's minion are kinda planning of Ranma then again I might not remember about it right.
