RWBY: When ROBs have had enough (AU)

And we literally have the exact same thing in the Hub. Why do we need the Pocket?
Epic derp moment...

Anyway while we are on the topic of Doraemon, I have taken the liberty to list a bunch of gadgets from that universe for approval. These are all sufficiently advanced technology from the future.
Anywhere Door - Door to anywhere you want, just walk through it. Note: Location must be in memory first for it to go there. I am hoping that this does not violate the mass constraints.
Mini-Doras - These are robots... I think. Doraemon is a robot, so I assume that these are as well. Small super smart minions, perfect for any number of things.
Take-copter - Helicopter thing you stick to your head (or other body part). Allows you to fly. 80km/h. 200kg carrying capacity. 8 hours before recharge needed.
Dorami's time machine - Because Doraemon's one is an economy model prone to breakdowns, his sister's one is a luxury model (twice as fast with bonus safety features). Accessed through a portal. Solar Powered.
Copying Toast - Press toast on text, pictures, etc. Eat later to automatically know what you pressed the toast on. Unless you actually put effort into memorising the contents you will forget it once the toast leaves your system.
Air Cannon - Exactly as labelled, uses high pressure, condensed air for each shot. Warning: heavy recoil.
Computer Pencil - Smart pencil, will always write the right answer to any question no matter what. Doesn't work on a blank piece of paper.
Small Light - Shrink Ray.
Big Light - Magnify Ray. Opposite of the Small Light above.
Doctor's Bag - Attach bag to patient. It will diagnose any illnesses. Will also dispense medicine to cure said illnesses.
Dress-Up Camera - Put in picture of clothes you want to wear. Take picture of yourself, now you are wearing those clothes. Note: if you put in a blank piece of paper you will end up naked. Usable on other people.
Voice Thickner - Drink this and any words you yell will become physical objects in the shape of the letters. Travels at slightly slower than the speed of sound. Bounces of hard objects, absorbed by soft ones. You can ride on the words.
Time Cloth - Can age objects forward or backwards through time if wrapped in this cloth. Blue side outside, object ages. Red side outside, object de-ages.
Voodoo Camera - Makes voodoo dolls of anyone you take pictures of. Use voodoo dolls as normal.
Translation Tool - Eat it and you will be able to speak and understand any language fluently, animal included.
Gulliver Tunnel - Go through this emerge shrinked on the other side. Go through it backwards to grow.
Voice Candy - Record a voice with this gadget, it will produce a candy. Eat the candy to gain the voice for half an hour.
Timed Stupidity Bomb - Set timer, attach to person. Once the bomb goes off the person will act like an idiot for a short amount of time.
Time TV - Watch events from the past or the future.
Nendoron - Allows you to deform anything and manipulate it like playdough. Sprinkle it on things to use it, wears off in water.
Mind Reading Helmet - Read the mind of anyone within 30m of you.
Time Belt - Time machine but doesn't account for things like altitude change.

This is from pages 1-4 of 28. I will do the rest later.
If a gadget from this and the following lists doesn't do what you want, notify me, I omitted quite a few of them for simplicity. There are 445 gadgets in total, I can probably find one that does exactly what you want. e.g. underwater campfire.
For some reason SV thinks this message is too short, I wonder why.

Ok, I have two suggestions for review and approval. The first is the White Vial from Skyrim, filled with a Healing Potion. A 100 HP restoring potion which refills itself every 24 hours at midnight if emptied. The other would be some model of Medical Droid from Star Wars, since having an on-call medical expert around will always be useful.

A question for the Overlords, J presume Medigel is a no-go due to it's organic properties?

And lastly, a question for our good lady Summer. The world the Vial I mentioned comes, Tamriel, from has some rather useful and powerful magical weapons in it. However, enchanted weapons from Tamriel have a 'charge' they expend when they strike something. This 'charge' is made up of the souls of living things, usually animals, that are captured in gems and channeled into the weapon to re-power them. Now, I/we could finagle weapons and artifacts to you that would alow you to keep recharging these weapons (namely a Soul-stealing weapon and Azura's star) but I thought I should ask if you'd be willing to even use animal souls as fuel for a fire or lightning sword in the first place.

In order of questions:

Potion and Droid is acceptable.

Medigel is considered a no-go.

And the enchanted weapons are considered a no go because souls are involved. Nothing that requires or is made of souls are allowed to be sent.

"Even if they were, I am not comfortable using souls to power things. Using souls that are not mine is a line that I would rather not cross."

I figured as much, but I thought I'd ask. Tamriel has some flash gear.

...hm...could a Hunter channel their Aura into a Tamrielic Enchanted Weapon to power the enchantment? And would enchanted armor or clothing, that was made with a Soul Gem but doesn't need them to power it after the initial embument of energy, be allowed/acceptable?

Also, Summer, had another idea for a weapon we could get you. A Rider Sword: made from enchanted metioric iron by a millenia old elven smith, they're resitant to Magic, almost indistructable by conventional means, are *always* razor sharp and will never lose their edge, and can be color-coordinated with your own personal color scheme. Not as 'high tech' or flashy as some of the stuff others are suggesting, but very reliable. Thoughts?

Oh, and do you have anything you'd like to ask me/us?

...That might work, but you would have to be specific about what you want to send.

"That actually sound really good. Even before now I kept my range and melee separate, much to my teammates consternation. Whenever they asked why I never combined I replied 'Not only would the maintenance be every harder, but if something happens to it i'm defenseless. why would I risk something like that?' As for any questions I have, do you know about any kind of unarmed martial arts that I could learn? I don't want being disarmed equating to losing the fight."

No good ones that don't violate the soul magic rules.

Any decent martial art that would be better than what you should already have access to as a huntress requires some form of enhancement or resource: chakra, essence, qi, I.e. stuff we can't give you since it's a non-aura power, some of which deals in souls, and others requiring organic materials to unlock.

If we could send you a Shinju fruit to give you chakra we would have done so.

I mean Aura should be able to sub in for motes so you can use white tiger or single point style but, that bit about permalocking auras if it goes sideways makes it not worth the risk. Strong fist might be doable, but most of the special moves are built on the abuse of limiter gates a Remni shouldn't even have, gentle fist could be adapted to use aura, but that requires incredibly precise control and works for it's creators mostly because they have extra Insight into the energy they use to do it. Your silver eyes don't let you see subtle shifts in aura do they?

Also do you need special eye drops for those?

I mean we could try just asking for the scrolls of whatever Aura nonsense Lie Ren uses to make Taijitu heads explode, but that's about as far as we can narrow it down, and I dont think we can grab stuff that's actually from remnant.

"Y'know? They actually might. I've been seeing some weird fluctuations surrounding some of my teammates recently, but whenever I ask them about it they looked at me like I'm insane. So you might be right about that."

So, for example, would like a 'Shirt of boosted stamina recovery' which was created with a Greater soul gem and gives the wearer a 50% increase in the rate their stamina recovers be a viable item? Or a ring of regeneration or smthn?

Also, Summer, in answer to your question, I personally have about ten years worth of training in a martial art called Karate, but I doubt I'd be able to effectively train you through this medium. Hm...I'll look around and see if I can find a droid or robot that's designed for that kind of training to send you.

Most of our martial arts make assumptions about biology that would be invalidated by the opponent being a grimm or an aura user. There's a reason I skipped to elemental and exalted styles in my ranting.

I already thought of the perfect droid to send her for training and to help her fight. PROXY from star wars the force unleashed. just have him programmed to protect her and teach her various martial arts from the star wars universe. he can even teach her how to use a lightsaber if we send her one.

Yes. Proxy would be perfect for this.

...we should probably remove the 'try to kill the student to test them' thing from his programming tho.

Um they're not organic but star wars droids are kind of alive, also they can apparently gain force powers.

...are you sure? I don't think like regular droids can be force-sensative. I know the Iron Knights are a thing, but I'm fairly certain that they are members of a crystal-based species who can be force sensitive. Not full-on droids.

R2-D2, and possibly IG-88, less sure about that one.

Not to mention why do droids get a pass but not shards?

PROXY is a holodroid built by the empire no force shard. the reason i was confused was the last time shards were mentioned was by w34v3r on page three.
