Thank you for letting me know. I have chosen to vote for one at the moment. You can vote for more than one option here, if you don't know.

I am against it because other things seemed inmediatly more important in my opinion.I just really really really want Oracle stuff. It's the last chance to pick it up. Etaja mentioned it would be useful. Oracle stuff seems really neat and seeing how a Life-Death path does it would be cool.
Unfortunately, at this rate, I don't think it will make it. To many are voting for the oracle stuff.Gonna be a real knife fight for 4th place. Poor Damir might not make it in.
Ugh, I'm gonna have to go and add the "Refiner" path to my vote I guess, I definitely want more Damir.Gonna be a real knife fight for 4th place. Poor Damir might not make it in.
I think it's mostly just narrative payoff. Cheng's storyline has been consistently focused on the elixir, to the point he even spares Risshon specifically so he can keep working on it.I think the forest sage is the option that is honestly least useful to us, and most pointless to pursue. It offers us nothing but a glimpse of people of higher power and gives Keras and Etaja some hints for the far future; but like... we are gonna see a Monarch in action in a couple months, when Malice has to appear to redirect the Dreadgod away from her territory, similarly to how she did so in canon for the bleeding Phoenix.
I don't think the Sage is gonna be particularly interested in us, we are unlikely to be given undue rewards, at most it's a glimpse into the Wasteland which every canon look at sucked and was terrible.
I dunno, maybe there's something big we will gain and I'll eat my shorts. But I just don't see why it's so popular to have run away with the vote like it did.

I just think it would be a bit disappointing to finish the elixir and then have it delivered off-screen.
Will delivering the elixir and meeting the Forest Sage help Keras' advancement? Probably not. But I just think it'll be cool.

So basically, you are just ignoring what most of the people in this thread have been saying for literal months.
Got it.
That seems pretty accurate. Getting a peek a Labyrinth stuff would be neat, in the long term I'd like Keras to go down there because it can give a lot of benefits. The "parents have discovered something" choice is obviously our final chance to ping onto the Dreadgod plotline before it actually sets off, since IIRC VagueZ has previously said that the weird Remnant issue in the Silent Hinterlands was directly related to the Labyrinth/Dreadgod situation.
Getting a look at a Life Sage do their thing even casually, or seeing them in a baseline state would be educational for both Keras and Etaja. For Keras it'll let them see the near pinnacle of Life Arts, for Etaja it'll let him see how Cradle people are introduced to Authority and the Way through Icons. All of which are useful even if we don't want to go down the path of the Northstrider network/faction for the UKT.I mean, 30 seconds of passing attention from a Sage could result in a tip that massively advances Keras' understanding of life madra and how to wield it in their techniques. On top of anything Etaja picks up about advancement and Sages' connection to the Way and any potential inroads to the wasteland faction that people want as an alternative to the somewhat fraught route to the UKT by opposing the canon protagonists. And I just want to see the Sage's reaction to Cheng centering his life's ambition around recreating a shadow of his work and succeeding.
