Do spell card rules still apply here?

Like, if we managed to directly nail krusty with a curtain of bullets, will he be seriously injured?

The gloves can come off and the damage of the bullets is now dialed to harm like it was for when the main characters fought the immortals in Imperishable Night.

We need to find Reimu. That girl is more OP than an entire pantheon of gods.

By the way. What level to we show up as to the adventurers?
Also, what level does Reimu show up as? Just wondering.

[X] Meiling
[X] Eliminate the intruders

We have a tradition to uphold. If they can beat the Gate-Guard, they are worthy of our attention. Until then, they are nothing more than noisy flies.

THE SCOUTER HAS REVEALED HIDDEN INFORMATION.
...So you really want an omake huh? *Checking muse for inspiration please hold*

Edit: Eh, maybe an idea? Might happen. Might not.
I'd be lying to say that I am not addicted to Omakes and if someone can do D.D.D's perspective of events (essentially the discovery of the mansion and initial engagement before the bosses arrive) that would really please me.

That's assuming she even landed in the same universe. Don't get your hopes up.

At a guess if we show up at all on thier HUDs there are going to be a lot of question marks as we are not part of the Elder Tales universe.
if we find reimu and yukari, would yukari rebuild gensokyo?
Why would Yukari want to? Gensokyo was made to serve a purpose. The fact that the various Youkai, spirits etc can survive perfectly well on these new worlds means the barrier that was the basis of Gensokyo is unneeded.

Maybe D.D.D. later but have a Sakuya mini-omake for now.

Sakuya Izayoi had dealt with many and varied tasks since becoming the Chief Maid of the Scarlet Devil household. Dealing with her somewhat eccentric mistresses and co-workers, herding her mostly moronic subordinates (honestly those fairies were more work then they were worth at times), and handling the various guests and interlopers who came to visit, steal from the library or fight.

Now it appeared that she and Meiling were about to deal with another problem banging at the gates. Lady Scarlet had requested that both go out and attempt to resolve things peacefully but warned them to be ready for thing to take a turn for the worse. Sensible considering that the interlopers were all dressed for war and had taken pot shots at several of the hobgoblins.

Falling into step with Meiling, they both moved towards the gate. She saw the dead-serious look on the gatekeeper's face, much unlike the normally easy-going Youkai. Not surprising considering that Meiling took pride in her duties of keeping harm from coming to the inhabitants of the mansion despite the baseless tabloid articles that feather-brained Tengu constantly printed. The induction of the Spell Card rules in Gensokyo had removed most of the risks from interlopers and no-one was ever able to stop the White-Black rat when she was on the hunt for more spell knowledge. Better to let Marisa into the library with minimal fuss or she'd just start blowing holes in the walls (again).

Coming into view of the group at the gates she had to blink at the sheer ridiculousness that she was seeing. She knew what weapons and armor looked like, the mansion had several displays of both Eastern and Western designs. Half of the invaders were either wearing or wielding things that seemed to have come straight from a fiction book whose author had no idea who to properly design said items or from a child's drawings.

Still, fanciful or not they obviously very real considering the large dent in the ground made by the massive ax wielded by a man who was likely the leader of this mob. His expression was something she recognized from men along with Youkai and from the slight tensioning in her co-workers arms, so did Meiling. This was a man who loved battle and relished challenges, who would most certainly not just back down to threats. They were going to have to handle this situation carefully in order to prevent it from descending into a bloodbath.

AN: Yes, I'm saying that the Adventurer gear can look silly. MMOs do not design gear for realism but rule of cool 95% of the time. And yes Krusty is a total fight junkie.

I just had the image of a rather shell-shocked mid-ranker reporting to Krusty about the new dungeon that appeared in X zone and the rather nasty monk-style guardian boss that handed them their own heads.

... D.D.D Viewpoint scene under construction. (Although not Krusty. Probably.)

I agree on the point of how silly the armor looks at times, as for your reward pick one!!

  • Staff
  • Sword
  • Shield

Collecting inspiration.
One thing you could pull if it's a fight scene is that while properly specced adventurers are stronger and maybe faster Meiling is a lot more skilled then any of them.

They seem to have gotten various skills for combat etc downloaded into their heads. Meiling on the other hand has the training and likely centuries of actual combat. For her it's likely going to be like fighting a bunch of living training manuals.

Sure they're dangerous but she can probably read thier moves about as easily as 'See Spot run'.

Huh, no Invis-text.

At a guess these seem to be buffs/effectors of magic, attack and defense.

I plan on writing D.D.D up to assaulting the gates, but before Meiling and Sayaka appear. "Man these gate's are sturdy." "Sounds like a lot of racket on the other side... goblins must be getting ready to fight"

It was supposed to be simple. Go to the shrine, kill the miko there, and loot the shrine of all its valuables. After all, a shrine was no doubt where some sort of holy items were kept and holy items tended to either be either extremely valuable or extremely powerful and sometimes both. It was supposed to have been over and done with by lunch, after all, what could a simple shrine maiden do against a Brigandia raiding party lead by Demiquas himself. Oh how wrong they were.

They had shown up to find the place empty, the miko nowhere in sight, so they assumed that she was inside the shrine or something attending to her duties.

Usually it was bad luck and in poor sport to defile a shinto shrine but many people, accurately, had been assuming that Demiquas had started letting his power go to his head. It was why there wasn't more people on this raid, almost all but 8 people had stayed behind to attend to other matters.

Lucky.

And now the Miko was kicking their butts. All of them, Simultaneously.

Massive, gigantic, mind-boggling big swarms of Ofuda each and every one filled with some sort of power descended upon them. While the members of this raid were all hillariously over leveled for this. They were nowhere near ready for this. It was doubtful anyone would ever be ready based on the Miko's stats alone.

Hakurei Reimu: LVL 231

How was that possible? It wasn't possible! But there she was. Tossing out Ofuda, manipulating some sort of energy bullets and yin-yang orbs, each one brimming with pure, raw, unadulterated power.

It had taken the raid members all of their agility to try to avoid getting hit by the swirling masses of death. A lot of the bullets weren't even moving that fast and they had still all taken uncountable hits.

"Heh? You guys are pretty interesting. But I need to attract worshipers and you guys are an eyesore." Said Reimu as she let up her latest spell card: Yume fu 'fū ma jin' otherwise known as Dream Sign Evil Sealing Circle. It was one of the easier ones in her repertoire. "I'll end this quickly."

She rose into the air, just out of reach of Demiqas was he attempted to lunge after her to deal a killing blow that in likelyhood would have done absolutely nothing. She knew it, he knew it, all the members or the raid knew it.

"musō fūin!" She announced. It was loud and clear despite her distance, no doubt because of her magic.

What came next was unimaginably beautiful but also terrifying in its beauty. Above them a giant ying yang orb, 500 meters in radius, appeared. It gave off a light more spectacular than the sun. The mid-summer day seemed as dark as night, compared to the orb's light. And then it started to decend.

"Boss! What do we do?" Asked one of the raid members.

The rest of the party were silent as the Ying-Yang orb descended upon them. A dull roar was heard as the very air itself struggled to get out of the way fast enough, undergoing fusion due to the sheer pressure at the orb's front.

"Oh, Kami-sama." Said Demiqas suddenly.

"What?"

"Kami-sama. Forgive this lost lamb."

And then there was light.

And then there was silence.

Will the bonus still take effect if Meiling and Sakuya are both meeting them peacefully?
Depends on what Sakuya's modifiers are.

Yeah obviously None Canon but i'll give you a reward.
  • Serara's good day
  • Demiqas's bad day

Hey, are the fairies able to reproduce? If they can, how fast can they do it? I know that an army is too much to ask for at the moment, but if we run into anything unpleasant, I don't want the fairies to go extinct or something.

Yeah obviously None Canon but i'll give you a reward.
