If properly reinforced it can weather a significant chunk of the force of the explosion.Okay, straight out the frying pan and into the fire. We may actually need to use another command spell to dodge another attack. Can mercury block explosions?
Especially since you'll be using your personal stock, which is ether-enriched and pretty effective as far as impromptu metallic partitions go.
It's a valid approach, but keep in mind that you're almost running dry at this point, barring an infusion of Salt Tokens to up your personal mana stock.
Rider is just too busy being assmad to notice and thus has yet to switch over to his own stores of prana to power Trois Tragoidia.

Rider's chariot would be able to dodge a rocket, even a rocket reinforced with Formalcraft, but Chuckles may insist on tanking it on his washboard abs because RAAAR I'M ACHILLES.
Which has a couple of problems:
1. Very likely that Aaron has used the blood of his Servant in whatever Formalcraft is enhancing the rocket, meaning that Achilles cannot in fact tank it on his washboard abs.
2. Isaac can still be pulped by Achilles charging headfirst into a giant explosion.
Honestly, I'd prefer to bail. We're fighting in (technically over) a killing ground that has been set up specifically to deal with us and Achilles. Generally speaking, if the enemy has spent hours if not days preparing to fight you in a certain location, the best thing to do is fight them somewhere else.
And if we're going to get fancy with our Mercury, I'd rather try to slap a big glob of it over the muzzle of the launcher before the rocket deploys. That would give Aaron something to think about while we try to convince Rider there's no honor to found in this fight.

That was actually my first thought but I figured it was a little ambitious for Isaac, seeing as he's running on fumes right now.

Yeah this was a specially prepared battle ground to kill us. No matter what we do we can expect the other guy having something to make our lives miserable. We may have to cut our losses with a command seal and dip like tostido chips in salsa. It pains me to use another but the longer we stay in this death trap the worst we are in the long run. I don't give a fuck what crybaby Achilles jr. thinks.

Actually, pulling that off would require speed and accuracy to hit the muzzle, but not as much raw power.
Basically, a bullet will go right through a T-shirt, but if you cram a piece of that same T-shirt into the mouth of the gun before the trigger is pulled, it's an entirely different ball game.
Clogging the barrel with Mercury would require a lot less energy pumped into the Magecraft than trying to shield ourself OR knock the missile out of the sky.
The cost would be about the same since you'd be relying on your Mystic Eyes to aim assist, though.
