Just started reading this story, it's very good and excited to see more about the results!

I'm guessing that the main character will be against the Emperor, depending on the choices from the votes and the whole timeline being different?

Also can't wait for the new conquest of a grand nation!

Its a bit more nuanced than that, its possible to figure out ways to integrate into the Imperium with some level of surviving integrity with the right play style. But in general yes, its very hard for a Grand Nation to join with another even on a temporary basis.

Agreed, which is why I don't think it'll ever work in the long run.

You have two different nations with completely different agendas and overall beliefs. And I don't think the main character will agree with everything the Emperor says otherwise.
