Quest Idea Thread

So, who would we need to contact to talk about re-Sticky'ing this thread? I almost panicked a few minutes ago searching for it, and having to use the search function to find it everytime is gonna get old very fast.

Totemist quest

Well today was just awful, tribe dead, family dead, girlfriend dead, and you now have a spirit constantly around you and it wont shut up. To think, today started off so well. It was just supposed to be the initiation into the tribes shamans, kill a mystical beast, some feasting, adult things(you assume it was some sort of more mature party game version of stab the tree and chug) and the beginning of your trained adult life. But no, something just had to ruin it. And thanks to the head trauma it's all blurry. Guess your just gonna have to figure out who did the whatever to you and your tribe after you get your shit together. But with your new found powers that shouldn't be too hard...if only the damn spirit would shut up!

Environment:
[] Arctic
[] Desert
[] Forest
[] Plains
[] Mountains

What is the spirit:
[] Tarrasque - 1/dr
[] Mindflayer - 1 level psionic power, no use limit

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"

That voice. Those words. That accursed laugh. The hero recognized them with ease, even without facing the speaker.

That man knew many things he shouldn't. No, that wasn't quite right. The man shouldn't even exist. He never grew old. It was like he was separate from the very concept of time.

A seemingly ordinary man; even in death, the Hero of Time got bad vibes from the Mask Salesman. And so he saw no reason to respond. If the Salesman was here, he had words prepared anyhow. He always did.

"Even after having your spirit soothed by my song, even after teaching your successor the ancient swordfighting techniques, your spirit still clings to this world. I wonder why. Hohoho... Your existence truly is interesting, hmm?"

The Hero of Time tightened his grip on his sword, spinning to face the Salesman. He let out a skeletal growl, much like the Stalfos he at one time dueled with. "Get to your point, maskmaker. Before I introduce you to mine."

The Salesman simply laughed again. "The Goddess has a use for you, still. It seems you and your successor will be making a visit to that twisted mirror land you once saved in a mere...Ohhh, I lost count after the third day." The Hero of Time growled once more. "Termina? What business does the Hero of Light have there? And why am I involved?"

"Hmhmhm... That Mask. It seems that there is somebody seeking to reawaken and use its power.

"The least you will have to do is show your successor to the portal. From there, perhaps you will finally be free to pass on, like you should have long ago." The Salesman looked up to the sky. "Don't disappoint me, Heroes. That Mask is dangerous. Even to me."

You awaken in your bed, having just had the strangest dream.

You are the Chosen Hero of Farore; a mere three years ago you saved Hyrule from the tyranny of Ganondorf and returned to your everyday life.

But lately, you've been having dreams of the Hero's Shade and a strange man that the Shade really seems to hate.

Well, for now, what will you do?

[] Sleep in some more.
[] Help on the farm.
[] Go visit Ilia.
[] Take Epona for a ride.
[] Fish.

I dunno why, but I kind of want to see an Idiocracy crossover with Mass Effect where you guys play as President Camacho.

...I should go to sleep now.

Yeah, it's supposed to be helpful but not necessarily anything that changes much of anything. Plus I know of so much horrible shenanigans that can be done with some versions of prestidigitation.
Are there actually any psionic level 0s? The SRD doesn't seem to have any.

[X] desert
[X] Mind flayer
-[X] Energy splash power
[X] look for survivors
[X] seek shelter for the night.

MANIFESTING

Display: auditory
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
EFFECT

Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
effect: Ray
Duration: instantaneous
Saving Throw: None; Power Resistance: Yes
Power Points: psionic focus or 1

DESCRIPTION

You create a ray of your active energy type (cold, electricity, fire, or sonic) that shoots forth from your fingertip and strikes a target within range, dealing damage if you succeed on a ranged touch attack with the ray.
Cold: A ray of this energy type deals 2 points of damage. Alternately, the manifester can choose to deal no damage but instead chill up to 1 pound of non-living material (such as cooling a drink).
Electricity: A ray of this energy type deals 1 point of damage. Manifesting a ray of this energy type provides a +3 bonus on your attack roll if the target is wearing metal armor and a +2 bonus on manifester level checks for the purpose of overcoming Power Resistance. Alternately, the manifester can choose to deal no damage but instead cause a relatively harmless static shock. This shock is painful enough to wake someone sleeping, but is not painful to interrupt concentration or spellcasting.
Fire: A ray of this energy type deals 2 points of damage. Alternately, the manifester can choose to deal no damage but instead light a readily flammable object such as a lantern or torch, or warm up to 1 pound of nonliving material (such as heating food).
Sonic: A ray of this energy type deals 1 point of damage and ignores an object's hardness. Alternately, the manifester can choose to deal no damage but instead cause a loud bang at the target location (DC 10 Perception check to hear it). This power's subtype is the same as the type of energy you manifest.

You know, maybe we should make about three PM discussions with nine people each (So we would have twenty seven), and all invite foamy asking to sticky the thread?
This seems like the kind of potentially disruptive thing the rules and CC would frown on. At least when done deliberately. Seems kinda like spam.

Honestly if we want it re-stickied (and I, personally do), just a single PM to a mod making a good, logical, well-reasoned argument for it is probably better than a dozen people crying out nothing more than "undo it please".

What? How would that be more disruprive then dozens of people making a PM asking?

And the point was to show that the community, together, wants this.
