[X] Talk and ask questions.
-[X] May we sit down?
--[X] If yes then sit in the armchair
-[X] Why are the curtains closed?
Does she not know that her proxy is very much real and not in a dream? You are starting to think that Ariane has no real idea what she is doing. "I-I see... I-I mean, regardless of my nightmarishness," you say, "may I sit down? Just standing over here feels strange."
"Go right ahead," she tells you calmly, "chairs are made for sitting and I think you want to talk more. It is easier to listen when you are next to me."
You nod hesitantly and walk to the armchair next to the bed. You carefully sit down on the soft cushions and lean on the back. It is quite soft and warm, you have to admit, and it feels like you could fall asleep on it.
But for now, you have other things to do. "T-thank you," you begin, "this is much better..."
You look at the curtains hanging from the roof of the bed. You are barely a meter away from the other girl, yet you can't see her from behind the drapery. The situation feels incredibly awkward to say at least, and you decide to inquire about that.
"S-say, why are the curtains closed?" you ask Ariane, who remains silent. You start feeling increasingly nervous as she refuses to answer. Did you strike a nerve or something? It must have been the wrong question, so you hastily apologize "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..."
"...It is okay," she quietly cuts you off before you start rambling off, "I just wasn't expecting it, that's all. I guess... I guess I feel safer this way? It is always dark here, but during nights I am alone too. I don't like it... the darkness I mean..."
You can somewhat sympathize with that even if from a different standpoint. The lack of light during night hasn't bothered you as much as Ariane, but it was always easier to forget your misery during the day when you could distract yourself...
"It feels like someone is watching me, but I can't see them... The curtains? I feel a bit safer behind them, I can forget what goes on beyond them... Do they bother you? I... could put them away if you want?" she finishes awkwardly. You are not entirely sure what to say...

[] Let them be opened.
-[] Hug the girl when you see her.
