Ok, with permission from Rex, here it is.

"What?"

Her tone was flat and without any hint of the elegance she had used before. She had to shock her head to acertain she had heard right.

"Your hat…can I try it on?"

The boy's serious expression made it even harder to regain composture. For a moment, Oriko contemplates what could have possessed the person in front of her to ask her…well, that.

Out of all the things he could ask her, of all the possible questions he could have inquired, he asks about her hat. Her hat!

'What so special about it? What is wrong with my hat?' Nope, she knew the answer to that so there was no point in saying that.

Her brow twitched as her mind finally made the connection as to why someone would ask her that.

'My hat is NOT a bucket.'

The boy limited only to raise a brow as immediate response. "...Well it looks like one."

'Oh dear.' She had said that aloud? No, enough of that, it was time to regain control of this situation and get things back to her pace.

"Sure, take it."

Oriko watched with curiosity and mild apprehension as her…acquaintance touched with carefulness her hat.

First he felt it with both hands, then he made it bounce on his hand until he peered inside the hole of the object. All the while with a focused expression that made her doubt if he was as sane as he had appeared before.

"…"

Tatsuya finished his inspection of the ítem and walked towards the girl in white. Giving it to her with caution as if it was bound to explode or maim him.

He then returned to his previous spot without saying a word.

"…*Ehem*." The seer took this as a chance to regain control of this conversation and hopefully salvage her dignity.

"Why did you wanted to see my hat?"

She struggled to regain her previous inflection of voice, but was able to do so in time…

"Weapons."

…only for it to be shattered again, this time, for good.

"What?"

Tatsuya didn't break his sight from her and spoke to her as if he was talking about the weather.

"It looked like it could have a weapon inside of it, I just wanted to be sure."

That's it, she could no longer fight it, that desire to do the one act to cope with the randomness in front of her.

And so, for the first time in her life as a Magical Girl, Oriko allowed her palm to cover her face.

'I swear, for the love of God, if I ever have to meet someone like this again...'

Coincidentialy, in the vastness of the realities binded by the threads of Time and Space, a certain silver haired girl sneezed.

I must admit, comedy is not my forte, so I apologise if this is somewhat lame.

Edit: thanks Rex, missed that one.

Nope! Mami is and always will be a pillar of sanity and stability. Besides limpet!Mami had already been done in PMAS. I'm might make snarky references from time to time but I'm trying to keep from ruping off certain things whole sale.

Also, sorry to everyone about how late the update is. I've been distracted by running a quest in another quest and forcing myself to match @DrZiztah's crazy update schedule. Also I'm apparently insane because I'm going to be rolling out another quest soon as well.

In the meantime, why not speculate on my devious idea some more. Who knows, maybe you'll give me ideas.
Who is this foolish mortal that dares to summon meeee~

*Ahem*

...Hmm, well, running a quest does take some effort, so starting another one on top of the first ones could be viewed as a bit strange. However, if you have an idea you really want to make real, then don't let small things like that stop you from going through it. What's this idea of yours about anyways? Nukes? Mamis? Nukes that fire Mamis before they impact :p?

(Also, my updates schedule crazy :V? Pfft...)

You update twice a day with installments of appreciable length.
I'm faster than average (or I was, 's been harder to get stuff out on schedule lately), your pace is just insane.
Mreh, I think that it is nothing extraordinary... but agree to disagree I guess.

...And now that I'm shit-posting here for some reason, I should probably take some time later to at least skim through this quest :V.

Bid you adeiu.
You stop and think for a moment. Were you really about ask someone you've barely known for five minutes for help? Were you really going to trust someone you just met? This world must be getting to you; you're letting your guard down too much. You're not even sure why you trusted Mami. Sure, she's working out so far but it could go wrong so fast even with how nice she's been so far.

And this Oriko is even more suspicious. She hasn't told you much of anything. The only thing of use was that there are two more Magical Girls around but not only do you have no idea where to find them or what they look like but she also told you to stay away from them. And then there's this scenario she's talking about. You doubt that's going to end well.

But maybe the fault lies with you and not asking the right questions? After all, you're not exactly used to talking to people. She answered all your questions except what powers she has and you suppose that might just be her being cautious. Maybe she wants to help you? Maybe she wants you help and thinks answering your questions will get you help her? Gah, why do people have to be so confusing? You think yourself. Still if you want to learn about them, and you'll have to if you want to survive, there's only one way to learn more.

Might as well start with the most pressing issue. "So what's the "scenario" you keep talking about?"

Oriko giggles slightly. "Oh, sorry." She smiles at you apologetically. At least you think it's apologetic. "I suppose it sounds a little sinister when I call it that. It's just what I call the events that are going to happen over the next month. If no one interferes with those three girls I mentioned earlier then by the end of the month everything should be better for everyone."

A month. Why does that sound so familiar? Wait, didn't Ryubey say you had a month until the first time the universe resets? That couldn't be what Oriko is a talking about, is it? The problem is that you don't know why the reset happens or what happens after it. If Oriko knows something… You really wish you knew how long a month was. "What happens at the end of the month?"

Oriko makes that look again, the one that you think means she sorry. "I can't tell you that. If I did you'd think I was crazy. I know that isn't the best answer but you'll just have to trust me when I say it will make everything better."
Right, trust. You don't think that's going to happen. "I'm done."

"You don't have any more questions?" Oriko asks and you nod. "Well, Mister Tatsuya, I was hoping you'd like to be allies. If you help me keep outside Magical Girls from attacking Mitakihara I'll help you find the girl you want." You're instinct is to say no immediately but Oriko keeps talking. "I can see that you're not the type to trust others easily. How about you take a day to think it over. We can meet tomorrow and talk some more."

You stay silent for a minute but eventually you give your answer. "Fine."

Oriko smiles, genuinely happy. "Excellent. There's a park a few blocks that way." She points over you shoulder. "We can meet there at 5 o'clock. Does that sound good?" You nod. You're not sure what a park is but if you have a general area you should be able to sense her. More problematic is that you don't know when 5 o'clock is.

"Well, if our business is concluded then I bid you adieu. Have a good night Mister Tatsuya." Oriko bows slightly towards you. Then she turns and jumps from the building, roof hopping away in the opposite direction of Mami's home. You stay in the building long enough that she's completely out of your range before you head back yourself. As you run home you think about what you're going to do when you get there.

Blah.

Welp, Oriko wants Madokami to happen, so we can never really ally with her unless we can prove Homucifer.

Is Oriko trying to placate us, or is she sincere in her promise to help us find the Devil? I mean, obviously she's not going to turn Homura in unless she can get proof of Homucifer, but I'm just curious because that would tell us a lot about her intentions. Ugh, Tatsuya isn't nearly good enough with social to figure that out.

And yay, an update!

So, finally we get to see what Oriko is planning to do. If she knows about Madokami then it's better to have her as an ally.

Now, while Oriko may be giving us a good deal, we have to remember that Homura, the one from this time and the other one, will not stay put and most likely attempt to kill Oriko.

I must say, we need to have a back up plan in case Oriko's vision is changed or something.

Okay, let's try this one.

[x] Tell Mami about what you learned.
-[x] Talk about the Magical Girl you have just met.
-[x] Mention the names you have heard and this…scenario she is mentioning.
[x] Ask Mami questions.
-[X] What is a month?
-[X] What do you call a park?
-[X] What do you refer to by 5 o Clock?
-[X] Consult if she knows about the girls you have mentioned.
[X] Discuss who of the two girls mentioned is more approachable.
-[X] If possible, plan to contact her If the meeting with Oriko goes wrong.
[X] …Do you have…What was it called? A dictionary you could lend me?

Er...what? No, Oriko is NOT offering us a good deal. She's telling us not to interact with our sister and to let her cease to have existed. If that happens, defeating the Devil has no purpose or value for Tatsuya.

I think she was speaking about Mami, Kyouko and Homura, she never says we can't interact with Madoka.

Now, OOC we know that Madoka won't be attacked by Oriko if she knows about Madokami which means we don't have to worry about protecting her from either Oriko or Kirika.

IC, I don't think Tatsuya knows what Madoka's ascension would entail, even if he can remember her prior to her wish he wouldn't know the reason for why she ceases to exist and everyone starts to forget about her.

Except that the Madokami Event basically rapes the entirety of spacetime into a nonsensical wreck that looks like it's constantly in the process of vanishing up a Chaos God's unknowable anus, and ends up precipitating the Devil's ascension to power.
Madokami improves the lives of pretty much all Magical Girls, and doesn't have any fabric of reality falling apart consequences either. On the other hand, as you said, it does pave the way for the Devil.

Seems reasonable enough.
