Kyubey sounds like he has emotions. And deliberately so. Speaking without emotions sounds unnatural to humans.

What can I say, I'm good at what I do. Seriously, Cards Against Remnant, my RWBY fic on Fanfiction.net (#SHAMELESS), is 50% dirty jokes and 50% ship teasing. That's right, a fic where all they do is play Cards Against Humanity is only 50% dirty jokes. THAT'S HOW MUCH SHIP TEASE THERE IS!

Are red Kyubeys strawberry? Y'know paranoia dictates that the Kyubey-shaped thing the GM is setting up as a reliable-ish source of information when it's well known how paranoid we are of the real thing shouldn't be trusted and is just a stealth QB, but I'm not going down that route. Too much of the same old same old there.

The fact that he was actually feeling kind of happy telling her about it makes it sort of amusing.

Apparently there's a girl in Tart Magica who transfers all negative effects, including grief accumulation, from herself to others. Kind of like Encounter from Medaka Box. It's not often that I see something HAX enough to compete with high tier Medaka Box characters.

I'm glad people caught that. I needed away to inform the reader that despite Mami sounding like her usual calm self during the conversation, hearing about the rough life Tatsuya's had until now still had an emotional impact on her. I'm happy that worked out. This sort of analysis of my work makes me happy. HAPPY QMs ARE YOU FRIENDS!
