I might have explained it badly, but that's basically what I meant. At least one person dies, even if it's just the main villain (Devil).
 
Umineko doesn't really have branching storypaths or anything. Higure just likes Golden Ends because he reads alllll the VNs.

Resolving that dichotomy is a Good End.

Well, there goes my dead sentence.

If this is like Fate/Stay Night, then we may have to take an specific route with one of the Puella to achieve a better or worse ending. And like Fate, the route will probably be reflected in the way Tatsuya matures in the time he remains with them.

…So…which would be the UBW equivalent here?

And the Past Devil is an obsessed girl that has time magic and enough weapons to level a city. Not to mention that Madoka bringing a boy to her house will activate all of her alarms.

Don't forget, guys. Kill the Devil, Madoka is probably going to contract to fight Walmart Night, and we get plunged into another nightmare. I seriously doubt our capabilities in stopping that juggernaut without casualties.

The fucked part is that most outcomes of that would be at least a little less awful than "a deranged teenager eats the universe, creates a grotesque parody of Heaven for the person she cares about and a handful of living props, and wishes the rest of sapient life into the cornfield."
