"A classic of your mortal music!" You sound exultant, sinking deeper into the ham. Mmm, ham. "Of course!"
{Perception roll = 89 + 31 = 120 = Ultra mega basically unimportant success!}
Out of the corner of your vision, you can see Mina filming from behind a wrecked, overturned dumpster, camera steady in her hands - she must have taken a while to sneak around to a good vantage point - and make sure not to focus your attention on her. Better she stays unnoticed.
{Singing roll = 73 + 33 = 106 = Magnificent succeeeess!}
Back straightened, you perform a flourish, tilt your head bang - and start belting out Eye of the Tiger.
Yeah, it's more impressive than it sounds.
The powereds watch you for a few seconds more, Armory looking impressed (the Golem is hard to decipher, but it
is staring at you without attacking, so that's a plus), before snapping back to their fight, Armory charging into to slam his massive hammer-shaped forearms into Golem's leg (causing a grand total of 8 HP loss); in turn, Golem tries to hit him with the car it was holding.
Well. That's
them sufficently distracted - Armory is clearly fighting a losing battle as Golem continues to trash the area in an attempt to crush him; thus far, its slow movements prevent it from landing a hit, but the damage Armory causes is negligible, and he's clearly growing tired. Oh, and Danger Sense levels up once - you're at a relatively safe distance, or it probably would have gone faster.
As you approach the end of the song however, you
[ ] snap back into dramatic opera.
[ ] restart Eye of the Tiger from the beginning.
[ ] insist on the powereds or a hiding civilian picking another song.
[ ] casually walk away - they should have evacuated by now.
[ ] start shaking down the hiding civilians for their wallets/jewellery.
[ ] Write in.
